Im in the Navy and i just went through VBSS training. during which we do room clearing and used simunition overall its not very painful. stings a bit but then goes away fairly quickly. and this was shot with a m9 service pistol from about 6ft.

the trick is to shoot where his acus are drawn close to the skin.

if you shoot the loose part, the loose fabric will deaden the impact.

U can deffinetly get them, but for a good price none the less. I got shot with one in the side of my neck at basic training. It is much worse than a paintball for sure!!! Was as real to getting shot as it gets!!
