dont start great (game) soundtracks with you're one (cheap-ish) Intro sound at the beginning (even if for only a few seconds).., people will ignore you're tracks faster and wont use it to download
@FinPro12 This song would fit much better at the end of a sad movie, when a little boy was the only survivor from a sunken ship where he lost his whole family, alone at a small island where no one ever would be able to find him. The song is just so emotional and unexplainably beautiful, it honestly tears my eyes.
I had the Top Gear for N64 too, but it was the European PAL version that had the sweet dance song that I also like. But this one is just so amazing!
Its funny cause after every race on the replay it would play this song making your driving look more dramatic... dont you love how dramatic Music works in video games...
The Memories.... I was 8 years old when I got this game... 2nd grade. I remember it just like yesterday. I was almost as happy as I was when I got Cruisin USA as a total surprise one night.
Ahh, this game used to be the best. I remember when I was young, I used to hum the theme in school. At the time, I wasn't very good at the game, but I still loved it and I loved customizing the cars. Thank you so much for uploading this!
i loved this game. me and my friends use to play for hours trying to find ways to get off the race track and explore. there were a few levels where it was possible. the music was awesome
I had this game pre-ordered when I was 12 years old. I went to pick it up and I was so excited. I came home and my mom told me that my cat had been run over by a car and killed that morning. I remember being devastated but still wanting to play the game so I put it in. This menu music hit me so profoundly that I wept to its piano arrangements and felt empowered by its drums. Miss you so much Lazer.
@goldeye355 no. the fuck with your stupid opinions. this game is fucking extraordinary without your stupidity. "glowing disk brakes". fucking grow up man. TGR is a fucking masterpiece the way it is.
Don't say shit about TGR, your comments are just gonna get buried. For you acting like a douche saying TGR is shit. So no man. Don't be like the other douchebag YouTube users on here. Have some discipline man.
@z3r0ko0L by the way bro. I didn't bury your comment. You seem to know what you're talking about man. N64, oldskool, yeah, I can't forget about that honesty brother.
@NeoPinPan- Yeah no problemo. Just send me your email address to me in an inbox message and i'll send them to you tonight. I have Coastline, Main Menu Theme, Jungle, Strip Mine, and the Desert. I will send those tracks to you.
this one of the best games man the memories r tearing me apart man i use to play this with my dad we beat this game so many times then the would shut off andd erase every thing man i still miss this game
I always get tears in my eyes when I hear this song. To me, it reminds me of something that was once incredible then it gets forgotten. Like the Ford RS-200., awesome car for it's time but it now forgotten by most. This game I played for hours and hours, I wore out 2 N-64 controllers on it. I simply love this and the desert song. 5STARS.
Dude..the only game that wore out my only controller was Mario Party 1 !! LMFAO this game wasn't so hard, I did it all in Manual, you just need to learn to control the throttle, it was awesome, those corners were sick dude and the shortcuts, don't remind me ahhh lmfao
The only setback this barely had tracks..Multi Racing Championship barely had shit either..the sequels I never seen or heard of them I think this could've been the best one
you know the Ford RS-200 was one of the cars in the game. it was the first one that came with the game it was my favorite! i love this game i use to play it for many hours!
If their is anything I remember about this game, other then how much I loved driving through trees to win, is that the soundtrack was awesome. Racing games from the 1990's had the best OSTs like NFS, and this had a surprisingly mellow and great sound.
Barry Leitch composed the soundtrack for this game. He also did the original Top Gear soundtrack for SNES. One of my favorite soundtracks, especially on N64.
Hey dude. I'm sure I've heard this music somewhere before but is it definitely the menu music? Mine sounds a lot more techno, closer to the coastline track in terms of theme. Is this an unlock or something? Or from the NTSC version?
Yeah, I've since read that the US version was the only one to be gifted with this music. A shame really because it was phenomenal. I'm EU so I got hardcore dance =[
I loved this game. The controls and single player was just too perfect. although one mistake often cost you first place. the music and graphics rocked.
OMG! thank you so much! I fell in love with the music from this game from the first day I ever heard it and have been looking for it online for so long. major kudos :)
This is godly. With my old school mono tv with rf adapter, the music sounded different and awesome too! switch ur tv to mono and u will see. Wow what a great song!
The music in this game is beautiful, I absolutely love the title theme, and the jungle theme is pretty good too. The rest are alright, out of them I'd prefer the desert and coastline themes.
I loved it, I'd always go to the paint shop and just let the game sit so I could enjoy the music. This was my favorite theme. It has a calm, sad, and climax type mood to it and it's hard to figure out if it was meant for a movie or the game.
Yeah. It's even more weird that when I play the Black Hawk Down soundtrack while I play a few desert looking maps in Operation Flashpoint Elite, it goes with the mood of a hot unforgiving desert, especially the ambushed comvoy and fighting going on. But this song is GOD. It should be a theme song to a movie or tv show since they enjoy taking old WWF songs and using them and a few other songs too.
May be a silly question, but you wouldn't happen to have the European/Japanese main theme for Top Gear Rally would you? I've already got the American version, and am desperately trying to find the European one.
The Music Is great I would Like a MP3 of it :) AWESOME GAME = AWESOME MUSIC.
