I don't think that Qu'ran tells us that we can beat our wife. It's a bad translation which is against the sense of the relationships between a man and his wife as described in the Qu'ran. I think what we translated as "chastise them" means "go away from them".
I had to give your 4;34 video a thumbs down not because I didn't like it, but because of the shocking violent beating of that poor woman it was disturbing to watch and ruined an otherwise brilliant video. Jzk
its pretty clear for any sensible man...that Islam is freedom not opression....Islam is the most liberal religion...thts y a great number of western women are converting to Islam.....ppl lyk SG have nothing better to do but to extract out-of-context things from Islam n then publistize thm...she probably forgot what Bible says about this issue.....read your religion first before pointing at us.....
