Osipova and Zvetlana Z. are 1000 better, I don't know why Ferri si so much appreciated for Giselle...Just watch these 2...they seem like real ghosts, completelly etherical and soft, and elegant plus precision . about technique, I don't even talk about, russians are the best (followed by french )

Don't get ME started on Zvetlana....As for who's the "best", well, that answer will always change because we are all individuals with our own tastes, biases, etc. If Ferri is greatly appreciated, maybe we should be thankful we have an outlet like youtube where we can appreciate the art of ballet for what it's worth. The best "critics" say watch as much ballet as you can because you will appreciate it all the more. I don't think one dancer should define the art.

To see a REAL Giselle Act II Entree the way it's supposed to be, get a Cuban version, where right after the spinning grand pirouettes the ballerina RISES ON POINTE in her suporting leg then proceeding to do a series of triples attitude-pirouettes...now THAT'S how it is done...
