Let the parents do what they want for special occasions at school (of course there are kids with special needs in terms of food, therefore you should exercise caution) But my elementary days where great for three reasons 1) Recess... 2) my fellow classmates and... 3) food... People should feed their kids in a healthy manner EVERY day, so they can have special treats.
