  • i hope he doesnt follow his dad footsteps and go to the gators! he would look good in that garnet and gold

  • PETER LAWSON 2011. Check him out

  • great video

  • Every Jag fan recognizes that cut back ability.

  • Terrific cuts and patience from this guy! He does run A LOT like Fred. I wish him good health throughout his career...Because, well... We all know how Fred's health turned out during his career unfortunately. Fred will always be one of my favorite runningbacks of all time.

  • Dude has offers as a junior from 6 or 7 D1 powerhouses. Whoever said hes only good because hes in private school is a fool. I guess the scouts from FL and AL don't know anything huh?

  • Also Check out Uconn recruit RB Montrell Dobbs highlights. Currently a RB at Milford Academy

  • Check out Arkeel Newsome highlights. Kid is really good. In highlights hes a freshman. He's a sophomore now. Look at Ansonia vs Torrington, Ansonia Vs Derby and Ansonia Vs Holy Cross

  • he runs just like his dad. big and strong looking, but a finesse runner

  • His dad is mah favorite football player of all time, have a nice retirement, Mr. Taylor.

  • thats private school. we all know talent is in the public school system. still nice for an 8th grader. D1 bound

  • he look okay

  • He's going into 11th now with over 6,000 yards...

  • this kid is in the 8th grade???

  • He doesn't look as good as Barry Sanders JR. but he still has potential.

  • hes in 8th grade but he plays on the high school team.

  • Go Gators!!!!

  • This kid has really good field vision (aka, reads his blocks and cut back lanes well), what he appears to lack however is top end speed. Several instances were kids stop running that could have caught him from behind in these highlights.

  • these are his 8th grade highlights..

  • wow slow compared to barry sanders jr

  • @scrawfrd02 thats because hes an 8th grader

  • I wonder if he will get injured every year like his dad.

  • @dprice5422 I wonder if he'll be going to the HALL OF FAME like his dad. Injured or not, Freddy T was one of the top 15 running backs of all time.

  • lol nigga this aint no 8th grade this is 9th grade

  • @mrgameandwatchable 8th grade he played for them early

  • @mrgameandwatchable He is a junior now, but he started as an 8th grader. Glades Day is a private elementary-high school so they can have middle school aged kids on their team.

  • So what because of his age??man yall just hating!

  • This young man aint nothing but in the 10th grade and running all over seniors, for those's of you say he did'nt play nobody yet look at the state championship game where this man ran for 254 yards and 5 td's. God Bless and ''GO GATORS'' see you in the swamp in 2013, I will be there this saturday to see how we look this year in our old pro-style offense and our new defense.

  • @Roberts8988 He's good.. very good. And looks like a major D1 prospect. But he's a 17 year old sophomore. I don't know how that happens, seeing as how I'm also a sophomore (class of 2013) but I'm gonna be 17 going into my first year of college. And will turn 18 three months in.

  • @thabest1995 His birthday probably come before the school year began, some people birthday's come before or after cause with me I could have graduated 17 or 18. My birthday is in August right when school started so I could have failed one year and graduated on time.

  • @Roberts8988 I read he turned 17 mid-season. I turned 15 mid-season of my sophomore year. That makes him two years older than me. But hey it doesn't really matter. Looks like he's gonna have a long long football season past his high school career. I wish him luck I guess.

  • @thabest1995 When you in college there's no age limit on what age you can and can not be to play sports that only goes for high school sports. You can be old or young and still make it to the NFL if you still have the talents to make the roster that's all that matters some people come out old and some come out young when going to the big league.

  • His running style reminds me of Mark Ingram. High knees, extremely fast acceleration though not incredible top end speed, and a very physical approach to the game. GO GATORS

  • he was in 8th grade but those clips he was already playin high school Varsity football for Glades Day High School. He has broken alot of records since 2008.

  • I-L-L-I-N-I!!!

  • @illinifanatic1 Don't get your hopes up, he's going to Florida

  • @Andydag904 Naw He is going to where his dad wanted to go and not settled to go and Thats FSU. Only thing that kept fred from FSU was Warrick Dunn and he didn't want to ride the bench

  • omg he runs just like his dad

  • No offence but i seen better.

He needs to work on timing:

His cuts, when he slows down and using blockers in some situations.

  • @Rowplaya he's a 8th grader. damn act like he in the nfl

  • Next great Florida Gator!

  • Yall realize yall r comparing Adrian Peterson to an 8th grader? HUH? Anyways, I'm thinkin GATORS!

  • Damn , reminds me of his Father! great cut back ability and not afraid of contact

  • This kid is gonna be amazing. He says beating Florida for his services is gonna be tough.

  • He is good but plays for a private school and the level of play isn't the same. Im not taking anything away but i would like to see what he would do vs public schools and think it would be good for him. His team won state and he played great.

  • he is defiantly imitating Freds lateral jump move. Not bad.

  • This kid is good. Check out this kid. He isnt't as good but then again he's only 13 in the 8th grade. Varsity next year as a 14 year old freshman. Check out his video, Jahmee Ballard 2010 highlights

  • holly shit look at the qb..hes even bigger lol

  • why does he look so slow

  • He is definitely a between the tackles runner like his dad, and I can tell by watching these vids he's playing in FL...there are football states and FL is def one of em..unlike some other HS highlight videos, you don't see him breaking for 80 yard TD on every highlight lol

  • Eh. kids not comfortable in his body yet, his moves are a little sloppy.

  • He runs a lot like his dad, he appears to be a great cut-back runner like Freddy was. I hope he makes it and the Jags take him.

  • check out sony michel, the best running back in the country....he only in 9th grade and is us army all american

  • VARSITY AS A FRESHMEN WATCH

  • Barry sanders jr is goin to be better than his dad...he's already faster than him

  • @westhesk8er haha

  • fred was fast he was like no other back in the league, he had power , speed , and cutting ability , you just dont see a back with all 3 .... kelvin is no fred, he is not fast and he doesnt have the moves . and swagg, you should just go and overdose yourself, calling a 10 year old girl a dike is pretty sad . big tough guy hiding behind a screen, bet you'd run like a little girl if you tried sayin that to my face .

  • @jagster69 ya fred taylor was a poor man's Adrian Peterson.

  • @truthfulmind How does that make sense lol Taylor was in the league years before Adrian Peterson...maybe you should rephrase it and say: Adrian Peterson is a rich mans Fred Taylor? just sayin..

  • @jagster69 im pretty sure i sit there and laugh while u ran at me , pussy ass 30-40 yr old talking shit to a 15 yr old , kelvin is a monster , he was only 15 in this vid running a 4.6 you idiot , he led his team to 2 state championships 2 years in a row as a freshmen and sophmore , idiot , idk how u can say he's not good .

  • @aRisTyy561 dude, he plays in a lowly b class school , he isnt even in class 1AAA . where does it say anywhere his speed is 4.60 ? ive looked and looked and i see it nowhere . if he is 4.6 then most of them kids out there on the field in very close to 4.6 too . i never said he wasnt any good, but he does not look fast and he does not have the moves his father fred had .

  • @jagster69 you're a idiot. sayinn kelvin aint good. and really a hole bunch of 7-8th graders run a 4.6? emmit smith rana 4.6

  • @idontnoapassword your the idiot , never said he wasnt good , i said he is nothing like his dad

  • @jagster69 your a idiot for judging him on pop warner football. not even highschool ball. no shit he aint gunna have the moves of his dad. he's 15. not 21. not 18. but 15. did you watch fred taylor's 8th grade highlight reel and compare him to his son? really did you?

  • @jagster69 did you. thought i asked you a question.

  • @aRisTyy561 he is ranked 60 in the state of florida and 852 nationally

  • Comment removed

  • @aRisTyy561 i went to school with his dad and he ran the 40 in 2.1 ..... like i believe you . show some proof other than some nobody telling me they know him personally . obama is my brother and bush is my son . like i believe everything someone tells me online

  • @jagster69 proof? he goes to glades day school ? i can name all the coaches of the glades day coaching staff ? walker , sider , perez , pitts , threkled , rod , bowens . he chills with jt thornton eaton spence and a few others ? his bench max is 280 from this summer i see it on the weightlifting board everyday ? his squat was 390 from summer ? idk what else u want me to tell you here buddy .

  • @jagster69 the 40 in 2.1??? LOL LOL

  • @serialjigga thats impossible lol

  • @jagster69 he's a sophomore dumbass . give him time an dhe'll get ranked better .

  • @jagster69 you're a fuckin moron, Adrian Peterson is faster, stronger, and has better cutting ability.

  • I kept waiting for him to pull his groin.

  • a five year varsity player? how often does that happen?

  • Look up Barry Sanders son, Barry Jr. It's going to be nice to watch both of these kids in couple of years.

It's funny how the younger Taylor is mostly an inside runner like his dad, and Sanders is a more elusive edge guy like his dad.

  • kid doesnt look fast at all , watchin these highlights it looks like my 8th grade son is a better running back . only video i have of my son is when he was in 4th grade but still had better moves than kelvin . heck , i have a video of my 10 year old daughter on here that looked better . Freddy T was the best back in the NFL , just too many injuries to keep him from detroying all the stats .

  • @jagster69 I'm sure your son is a really good running back in the 8th grade, but is your 8th grade son playing varsity football like he was in the 8th grade? An 8th grader playing varsity is not the going norm.

  • @jagster69 thats what they all say. I guarantee your son isn't like this

  • @jagster69 dude ur so dumb , just sdfu right now lol . he runs a 4.6 in the 10th grade and he's big as fuck , he led is team to a state champion ship on his freshmen year last season , you obviously have no idea what you're talking about . no one gives a fuck about your fucking shitty kids you dumb peice of shit .

  • @jagster69 lol and your daughters a fucking dike you faggot .

  • @jagster69 oh yeah hes slow, hes 15 an hes walking all those 17 and 18 years old and you said he couldn't cut BS watch 0:42 and tell me he can't cut

  • @xboxsucks12 guess if you call taking 1 step to the side cutting , even 70 year olds can cut,lol .... the kid looks nothing like his father , im a hugh fred taylor fan and i dont see no fred in this kid

  • @jagster69 no he wasnt stop trash talking. YOUR CABBAGE

  • @jagster69 HAHAHAHAHAHA dude are you serious? "only video i have of my son is when he was in 4th grade and still had better moves than kelvin." GET A LIFE. these football dads that are obsessed with their kid's athletics really piss me off...its pathetic

  • @tcufootballjh98 here the pot calling the kettle black. Saying your son has better moves in 4th grade is you being exactly one of those dads your talking about. Last time I checked in 4th grade there is almost always 1 athletic kid and the rest of the kids are completely clumbsy. So the moves of your 4th grade really don't apply, he didn't juke anyone, kids generally falling in his general area while he has the ball doesn't constitue "Moves".

  • @jirvi3 I was quoting what jagster said

  • notice this isn't a video of the next reggie bush, or adrian peterson. this is a vid of the next fred taylor, his son kevin

  • thats the next mark ingram right there same feet.

  • runs slow just like his dad! but still a good runner!

  • @trout92ification ummm no fred taylor ran in the 4.3's....he is lightening look at some of his highlights.

  • @Lukie1234 I dont know where the hell you got that shit, but thats fucking off, fred taylor aint run no fucking 4.3, you must be shitting me, fred taylor is slow as fuck he just has great balance and strength with some weak ass jukes! fred runs like a high 4.5, low 4.6

  • @trout92ification ok slow as fuck? no sir. He deffo ran around the 4.3's and at least 4.4's. Type in youtube Fred ''Taylor Highlights '' its the one that is 2 min 24 secs long and look at 1.30 on that video. Sorry man I know I am right.

If you don't believe that just google fred taylors 40 yard dash

  • @trout92ification You definitely never watched Fred Taylor in his prime. He definitely ran atleast a 4.38. And you can tell this very fact by the way he burnt secondary players who had the angle on a regular basis.

  • @trout92ification '' weak ass jukes'' Fred Taylor is a legend, and has better jukes than any back today.

  • @FredTaylor28Fan Well as I can see your a Fred Taylor fan by your profile name, saying Fred Taylor has better jukes than any back today is an insult to Adrian Peterson, Chris Johnson, Maurice Jones-drew who are all also definitely faster than Fred taylor! and thats a Fact!

  • @trout92ification mojo doesnt have the speed fred had, johnson doesnt have the power fred had, but ill say peterson and taylor make a good comparison

  • @FredTaylor28Fan Peterson and taylor there is no comparison, peterson is obviously better and when your chris johnson you dont need power when you run a 4.28!

  • @trout92ification we all have different opinions... i already gave you mine.

  • reminds me of berry sanders more than taylor hes got more misdirection

  • runs just like his daddy lol

  • He's shifty like his Dad!! Mad jukes.

  • no one blocked. He had to make a cut each time he stepped in the A gap

  • Hopw he is not a fragile as his daddy.

  • THATS A BAD MUTHERFUCKER RITE THERE! WATCH YO MOUTH BOY! BUT DAD, ITS KELVIN TAYLOR! LOL!! KIDS GOT SKILLS, AND HIS FATHERS MOVES TOO!!

  • well if he is in 8th n playing varsity those varsity player are very very small

  • wow.0:37

  • he aint playing against no bangers!!!

  • @pigskinfootball Really??? Do you know anything about High School football???Florida has the best high school football in the country, mind you he's only an 8th grader playing high school football. He only ended up being Rivals National Player of the year. Shows how much you morons know about football

  • @1KenNet Texas does.

  • KELVIN PLAYS MORE LIKE A BIG BACK, HIS DAD HAS MORE BREAK AWAY SPEED.

  • Jeez, he runs JUST like Freddy T!

  • his competitions weak tho

  • to gators ! than hopefully jags make the right choose.

  • Comment removed

  • I dont know if you guys realized this but, hes in 8th grade but hes playing on varsity. So those are not all 8th graders

  • @congoman775 - 15 in the 8th grade? Man I'm reading a lot of twisted info. What is the truth?

  • I believe I read somewhere that he was on varsity when he was in 8th grade.

  • so what grade is he in now?

  • Looks pretty damn good for an 8th grader. His body still has a lot of maturing and he'll only get faster and stronger. He's gonna look good in the Orange & Blue, just like his pops!

  • yooooooooo omg he run just like his pop fred taylor

  • kid is a BEAST!

  • yall are saying he is slow.... he is was in 8th grade and on the varsity football team

in 8th grade he was 5'11 and 200lbs in the state championship game last year the starting rb got injured and he went in at halftime and had 100yds and 3tds

  • @blackicedog 5.11 200pounds???oh fuck this kid and his god givensize and ability ima junior 5.7 and 150 pounds

  • he nice but he make his cuts slow and he cant see us don bosco prep number one in the nation letts goo!

  • dudes a beast just like his old man.

  • after jones-drew kevlin is to j-ville

  • Ankle break @ 0:35!

  • where did he wind up goin to sckoo @?

  • he is not better than barry sanders son

  • @stylesclash101 he is two years younger than his son.

  • @jordan7265 i just said that because someone told me that fred taylors kid is better than barry sanders...just from whats on this video, it dont look like it. i dont know about stats tho

  • hold up hold up if tha nigga is 16 as a freshman it really doesnt matter what he does because hes way older than MOST freshman shud be

  • ??? hes a 16 year old Freshman ?? lol

  • @MICHIGANallDAY2

lmao i was 16 during fall practices my senior year

  • @MrJAS1980 dosent kno wat hes talkn bout haahahaha idiot NATIONAL freshmen of tha year...ha pathetic competition? correct me if im wrong but hasnt tha number 1 high skoo in football been in florida for lyk tha past lyk 3 years or sumtin lyk that?? ppl these dayz....

  • 2 cause byrnes had it in 2008

  • fact: hops around too much and isnt that fast. no breakaway speed against pathetic competition.

  • its call cutting back. alot of great running backs do it to avoid tackles.

  • he's 14 now 13 in the videos

  • was he 16 in that video, or is he 16 now?

  • could be play for jacksonville if their still there in jacksonville?????????????????????

  • yeah he's 16

  • following his pop's footsteps he also has nice cutbacks

  • @congoman775 so is he really 16 though i dont get

  • dude they wrote bout him in SI, crazy

  • i saw that, already a top prospect, crazy, but like other people r saying college and pro is very far away from hs, i hear he better do great in fb, since i hear he's a grade back, so doesnt sound like the sharpest tool in the shed

  • he didn't get held back he skipped a grade

  • ya thats the only reason i looked him up. he made all state as an 8th grader on varsity. anyone know why they let him play up while he was in junior high?

  • because he's that good. as an 8th grader on varsity he ran for 1692 yds and 27 tds. this year, he got the NATIONAL freshman of the year award. Kid ran for 2597 yds and 47 td's (state record). by the time he's done with his high school career he could possibly be the national high school all-time leading rusher with over 11,000 yds

  • granted that is beastly either way.... but isn't he like a 16 year old freshman?

  • it doesent matter hes still playin vs

  • now that i dont know lol. and i really hope thats not the case b/c if it is then that award dont mean shit to me

  • @vinnyblanqo and @madinahsLove. lol ya man that'd be like junior of the year pretty much. and dude it does matter because i assume you meant varsity by vs, because i started varsity as a freshman not a 16 yr old.

  • @samueladamsprayboy yeah same

  • LMAO, he is 16??? I was 16 as a senior.

  • we played him in the state game dis year..good player..but he's 16 in da 9th grade..im inthe 9th grade tu but I'm 14..all I gotta say is WCA will see ya back at da citrus bowl and I'll be thr to lay u out and win the gold..I swear :)..good luck Kelvin..ya gonna need it

  • I hate that how any good footballl player who has a son ends up deciding not to play..

  • it would've been cool if they lived in belle glades.

  • truth is college and pros is a huge step from highschool better players all around to play against

  • is it true he set the touchdown record for a season this year as a freshman?????

  • hehe runs just like his dad, but jukes more

fred taylor uses his pure speed and BOOM

  • Doin WORK!

  • Man :37 is probably one of the best moves i've ever seen. At least on the high school level i know that for a fact.

  • It's called a jump cut. A lot of running backs do it. Fred is really good at it. Google running backs and jump cut.

  • I go to school with this kid! GDS Rocks

  • he will be the #1 rb in the class of 2012

  • no he wont, not at glades day..not with greg bryant in the same county, he will be very good tho..already is

  • how do you know? give me a lottery number

  • all im saying is that i think the kid at american heritage greg bryant will be a better all-purpose runningback than kelvin taylor once greg moves to rb full time next year..he's more physical, elusive and hes a much better reciever but i also know kelvin taylor is a monster and is going to also be a stud

  • outstanding vision, a.p.-esque, those long rushes could have all easily been 3 yard gains to a lesser running back.

  • Fred Taylor Jr. is good but he's no where close to Barry Sanders Jr. BS Jr. is a hall of fame lock!!!!!!

  • yeah barry sanders jr. is way better then fred taylor jr.

  • How do you know that? Walter Payton son should have been like him but he's out of the league. You don't know whos going to be better

  • okay maybe the hit is 2:32
