I can't thank you enough. I had planned to do that myself to find what worked best. You saved me a week of eye/brain trauma. You're the Best. Double Thanks.
@dadders6 Hey there, I use Screen Flow to record from my MacBook screen, not sure what program you would use on the PC but I know there is a program. You can google screen flow for mac or google pc screen recording to find something for the pc. Hope this helps.
one more thing.... i just uploaded a massive project and i exported it to a DV stream... the quality looks good but i want the best possible quality i can get. are you automatically going to see a reduction in quality if you use the quicktime conversion?
It depends on what your export settings are. I typically use Mpeg-4 set to high quality at 1280x720 for youtube and it looks just as good as the original.
Thanks much for that, it was a brutal project. I don't think I could make myself to do it again even for money! lol Glad it helped you out, that's my reward.
Thank you!

@eclecticwhyzas No problem, it was brutal but I wouldn't rest until i figured it out for myself. I typically use Mpeg-4 at this point.

Hi - Off topic - How does one record to video a live 'screen shot'? Is it recording directly to the computer that's also displaying it...?
Thanks
