  • I never heard a clav sound like this before or since. Love it!

  • u know u can hear a track and say thats a good song, but when you can close your eyes and drift away to this type of music and keep pressing replay u know its more than just a song its part of your life and thats real!!!

  • This is beutiful

  • man, stevie's got that clavinet singing. what a talent.

  • I absolutely love this song! Thanks for posting it!

  • That run at 3:15...MY GOODNESS!

  • This has got to be one of Stevie's best....I can play it on the guitar pretty well.....so far ahead of his time!

  • This album is a Sermon.....Beautiful!

  • Pretty song

  • the one person who dislike this should kill theirself...

  • Jon Gibson does a great cover of this song :)

  • I've always loved the pure rawness and beauty of this tune. Stevie on clavinet and Moog bass synth. My brother got this album back in 1973 and I couldn't stop listening to it. Stevie was finding his sound back then when Motown decided to let him do his music the way HE wanted to do it, which was to play all the instruments himself for the exception of guitar. Another great masterpiece from a musical genius.

  • one of my favorites both now and always.

  • he had just discovered the synthesizer with this album...lovely as always

  • Every now and then you got to remember the master of music.

  • This song is a an absolute masterpiece!!!!

  • best song ever

  • I wonder how many people got married to this song.... :)

  • KING STEVIE

  • What time sig. is this tune

  • This entire album is brilliant. The music to this song reminds me of something you would hear in an episode of "7th Heaven".

  • Music that lives on!!! As good today, as it was "back in the day!!!"

  • This song makes me happy and sad. Bom bom bom, I love you.

  • lynne jackapants feels atone with nature

  • great, great song by stevie! captain & tennille also do a real nice cover of this song.

  • this is the song my love dedicates to me, thank you for posting it. so much love in his voice, so much purity. god why can't well known modern music be like this?

  • この曲のように生きたいなって思うくらい歌詞が好き。

I want to live like this song.

  • How in the hell can this song make you sad? SMH

  • i want this played at my wedding.

  • There is something about this song...it is the saddest happiest song, to me. It's obviously a happy song but it makes me feel a bit sad (maybe cos I'm not happier than the morning sun LOL). Although it's just beautiful. I love it so much.

  • wow wow wow stevie u are the king

  • I wish i was young again, so, i could feel this way again, .when you get old it is what it is. so never settle when you can have the real thing , when your young, true dat. young people.

  • luv stevie but jon gibson's version was betta

  • @TherealSophiaSmall Not fucking possible. This is perfection.

  • @TherealSophiaSmall I don't know you, but I'm pretty sure you have to be doing some hard drugs to make such an ass backward comment like that...seriously.

  • This song is so refreshing to listen to. Love that about this song.

  • Fantastic - this is my favorite of Wonders songs, it has the most beautiful clavinet ever recorded and that fat moog bass beneath is so jucy. The great chord progression under this beautiful melody just creates wonderful magic.

  • This and Superwoman are my favourite songs on the album. He had a clever thing going on where he could play a keyboard and make it sound like guitar. And that voice...sounds so sweet. Love Stevie Wonder. Is this his best album? I like some of the ones he did before and after but I've not heard ALL of them.

  • Maybe Your Baby is on the Talking Book album. It has been posted on You Tube in its entirety by a user called johnniewalker23. This major dude has also posted several other Stevie albums in full: go to his page and get lost in music! :)

  • Truely great lyrics can be interpreted differently by many individuals - and at many different levels.

  • Brilliant song!!!~ :):):)

  • I think Stevie is talking more about his relationship with God than with a woman. At the end of the song he mentions that he wish that everyone would be happier than the morning SON. LISTEN. BLESS UP

  • I agree, I've always thought that too. It's a really beautiful song!

  • @vbelljr, oh please he is singing about a women.

  • This is my favourite song. Thanks for posting. :D

  • this is more like a wedding song

Immediately upon hearing the opening notes of this song the stevie wonder rays of joy and sunshine

    shine into me !

thank you ! thank you! THANK YOU !

  • Thanks for the post! I'd been looking for this song

for a while...as a guitar player myself i love the

    progressions...certainly one of Stevie's finest!

    Tim

  • Stevie Wonder has to be one of the most talented and prolific song writers/performers of our century

  • @CtJackie

    I second that (:

  • @CtJackie Yup.

  • stevie was always 20 steps ahead of music creation!!!! This song is freakin incredible 1 of my many fav's

  • This is so weird to listen to after being so familiar with Jon Gibson's version. They're 2 totally different songs. This one has more lyrics and is a little folky. Jon Gibson's version loops a few of the lines and has an R&B backbeat to it. I like the latter better because it's what I grew up on, but it's interesting hearing Stevie's version too (which is also good).

  • love it feel good music

  • I'm happier than the morning sun! i love this song!

  • "Music of My Mind" is a mixed bag, but this is a great song. Kind of reminds me of his song "Big Brother."

  • I am happier than the mornings sun for finding this song!

  • same e r mum just faund out so happy he is on

  • I remember a Stevie Wonder song with the lyrics "maybe your baby done made some other plans..." and it was SO FINE. Does anybody know the name of this song? I was a small kid when it was played on the radio and I would love to hear it again. Thanks

PS I Love this song and never heard it before, thanks for posting.
