  • I GOTTA ROCKAPOTUMUS IN MY HAND!!!!!! :D

  • redhotchilipeppers are mainly bass

  • @PATHOFSAIMHANN They used to be. Then John came and changed that.

  • @RHCPFreaklolNEW And then *Hillel Slovak changed that, as well as John.

  • @botor5 No, they were mostly bass when Hillel was with them in the 80's and then Hillel died and John came and made it mostly guitar....

  • @RHCPFreaklolNEW What? Without Hillel the band lost so much charisma, just listen to the debut album, thats mostly bass, Freaky Styley and Uplift Mofo are entirely different, if Hillel was in the band and it was all bass, Hillel would have had no influence on the band at all! But it wasn't mostly bass, funk doesn't exist with just guitar, check out Behind the Sun, Fight like a Brave, and A wide variety of freaky styley tracks.

  • @botor5 I've heard all of the their albums, and Hillel helped write most of the songs on their debut, he quit after his other band got a record deal, and then came back for their next two albums....I really don't feel like arguing so i'm just gonna end it there.

  • @RHCPFreaklolNEW What the fuck? I know? You completely disregarded my comment there.

  • @botor5 sorry to ruin it for you, but hillel didn't appear in the peppers' debut album. i'm not implying anything, just making that clear for everyone to know

  • @furor93 That's what his point was....

  • @RHCPFreaklolNEW (facepalm) hehe that's correct, indeed:)

  • Comment removed

  • @RHCPFreaklolNEW John changed that since By the way. Milk, blood sugar and californication are mainly bass . :)

  • @mangeiksde I totally disagree on BSSM, if u think that album is mainly bass you are very wrong...I can tell you the new album is mostly bass

  • @Lothlindir man, bssm is mainly bass. just listen to it. new album has a great bass lines but Josh is great and loud too. ;)

  • @RHCPFreaklolNEW Then he left .):

  • @PATHOFSAIMHANN thats because anthony and flea where best friends so they work off each other very well

  • @Kumpelblasefication Ooooh Rockapotamus! I couldnt make heads or tails of that part. Cool.

  • what ass did tick the dislike button? I wanna tell ya somethingXD

  • guys redd hot chili peppers and nirvana were friends and nirvana influenced red hot chili peppers. i don't think grunge and/or nirvana sucks but i also don't think kurt cobain's guitar skills were good enough to become second guitarist of our generation

  • @dirkvriesje Dude, Nirvana was formed after RHCP. And Kurt's skills were definitely good enough man.

  • @RHCPFreaklolNEW i know but i mean like they get inspiration everywhere

  • @dirkvriesje No shit.......

  • @LuceRula

I know its your opinion but being a great musician isn't about about being the fastest guitarist or having the most skill or whatever...its about being inventive and pouring your heart into the instrument. Thats what Kurt did, same with John Frusciante. Kurt changed music forever. Just my opinion.

  • @albk12345 I am agree with you, but you are wrong about kurt, he dont changed anything, he was trying so hard to be like MELVINS/EATH/KYUSS...(great rock bands)....nothing against hem, but he dont changed anything....

  • @yovioleatuzorramadre Kurt didn't change anything?!?!? He changed everything about how we thought of rock, when Nirvana released Nevermind, everybody wanted to be like Kurt, which may have been a bad thing, however.....

  • @RHCPFreaklolNEW learn your rock history kid, you sounds like a fool. Kurt is a clown, it was the Melvins, they changed the rock music for life, kurt toke melvins sounds and made some garbage music (nevermind). at the very end, kurt was like justin bieber and jonas brother, a marketing shit, just a dollar for labels...

  • @yovioleatuzorramadre I think you need to learn you're rock history "kid". Seriously, sure, Kurt was influenced by a lot of great bands including The Melvins but Kurt, well actually Nirvana helped them out. "When Nirvana's Nevermind became a massive, unexpected success, Melvins were one of many groups to benefit from Nirvana's support. They were signed by Atlantic Records, and their first major label release, 1993's Houdini, entered the Billboard Heatseekers chart at 29."

  • @RHCPFreaklolNEW Melvins never needed cobain and his mainstream bullshit, Houdini is melvins worst album by the way, lol. All Melvin albums (except for Houdini) are fucking CLASSICS.

Nirvana, in the other hand, is garbage, bleach have some few good tracks (all of them melvins rip off) but being for real, nirvana sucked.

And what the fuck is grunge? that is another marketing shit, there is no such thing as "grunge", is not a genre and less a movement, LEARN YOUR ROCK HISTORY, KID.

  • @yovioleatuzorramadre Why are you talking to me like i'm 8? And I know "grunge" isn't a genre, that's why I put it in quotes you dick oh yeah and, Nirvana ripped them off soooo bad. I'm listening to the Melivins' music that was on "Bullhead" and it sounds nothing like anything on "Nevermind" or any of Nirvana's album. Although they're good songs, they sound nothing like Nirvana. So, I think you need to drop the "Rip off" shit cause Nirvana didn't rip off anybody.

  • @yovioleatuzorramadre

You seriously don't know you're music.

  • @albk12345 Thank you kind sir. :p

  • @RHCPFreaklolNEW

If Nirvana ripped off the Melvins, then the Melvins would have sold 50 million records and changed the course of music. Nirvana was unique and fresh from everything else. Thats why they are what they are.

  • @albk12345 I know, that was the point I was trying to make to that dumb ass....

  • @RHCPFreaklolNEW

Don't worry about that guy, man. You know what you're talking about. How did Nirvana even come up? I came here to listen to some RHCP.

  • @albk12345 I don't know, he said something bad about Kurt Cobain, so I said something back to him...etc.

  • @yovioleatuzorramadre If it wasn't for Nevermind being such a success, nobody would know about "Grunge" music......besides, YOU need to learn your NIRVANA history man, they never turned into the fucking Jonas Brothers or Justin Bieber, would Bieber or The Jonas Brothers destroy the whole stage, spit on camera lenses or let any random person jump onstage with them?

  • @RHCPFreaklolNEW "Grunge" sucks, is a LAME TERM invented by a rich faggot, they were trying to make a new audience, and more money thats all, grunge do not exist at all, is all rock (and a bad one).

Man, nirvana can do whatever they want, spit to the camera, shit on the media, etc, but at the very end, they were toys, cobain knew that While he was millionaire because of doing a rip off of good bands, those good bands were fucking poors, thats why he hated himself so much.

  • @yovioleatuzorramadre And again, I know "Grunge" isn't a genre man, it's just what all of the media named Nirvana's, Soundgarden's, Pearl Jam's (even though Ten is they're only good album), and Melvins' music. And about why he hated himself so much, i'm not gonna say, it's all just speculation, only Kurt knew.....

  • @LuceRula Kurt does not have poor guitar skills, i've been playing for 4 years, I know who is good and who isn't, Kurt is great man.

  • @LuceRula Kurt Cobain=Boss, don't like him? Too damn bad, he's fucking good, and don't be hating on peeps because of a opinion you prick...

  • @LuceRula Okay, whatever you say.....That's YOU'RE goddamn opinion. People have a different preferences, I think Kurt is one of the best ever, you may think that Brian May or some shit like that....so you can't get mad at me

for giving my opinion....well you can but then you'd be a dick.....which you are.....

  • my best part is when anthony say "find your reason" and john say it with him!! thats so good!!

  • None of them don't like this!? Wow, people really know how to press the right button!

  • yeah! i'm the 12,000 viewer!

  • @nZTheWolf That means... 2750 views in 2 weeks. Wow.

  • @boyofdestiny1123 Now 6,050 in 4 weeks/a month :)

  • @XxZNBxX Well, it's an amazing song.

  • i lost the jupiter disc to this album and trying to find it im stuck with the mars disc now

Warlocks - Red Hot Chili Peppers

    ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

    John Frusciante on Warlocks...

"I like this for the title alone. It sounds like something outta Led Zep or Rush or something. I'm hoping people will say, What's he got going on with that guitar? That's what's wrong with bands today. They all want to be Joy Division. Now I love Joy Division. But people need to add something new."

  • @RHCPFansite Thanks for that, I'm a subscriber and I look at stadium arcadium dot com everyday!

  • @RHCPFreaklolNEW Thanks. I link to your videos a lot on our Facebook page. : )

  • @RHCPFansite dont get me wrong, john frusciante is a brilliant guitarist but tbh he dosent really try anything new with the guitar, yes he is very talented but on his work with the chili's he really dosent stretch beyond the usual mainstream rock guitar chords and so i find it a bit annoying wen he claims to be trying somthing new. dont get the wrong idea, i love john but he cant claim he brings much new to the table as far as guitar is concerned becus he just dosen't. Any way great song!

  • @ranmore30 That's your opinion. I think everybody else's is that he does. He's the best guitarist of our generation. Top 3 of our generation are, 1. John Frusciante 2. Kurt Cobain (Of course) and 3. Jonny Greenwood.

  • @RHCPFreaklolNEW i think your saying the top three guitar songwriters instead of top three actual guitarists but hey thats your opinion

  • @ranmore30 Why the fuck would you think i'm saying the top 3 songwriters when I said guitarists?

  • @RHCPFreaklolNEW haha way to make him feel dumb

  • @chubacaman1 HA!

  • @RHCPFreaklolNEW Kurt Cobain?

  • @fedceel ....Yeah. In the past 30 years.

  • @RHCPFreaklolNEW i think you are fucking retard, if you think, that cobain was great guitarist

  • @strokjis Kurt wasn't the best in that he could shred or could play Hendrix. He was one of the best in the sense of his aggression at playing, capturing all of his anger into his playing. That's why when I listen to Nirvana, I'm always banging my head or tapping my foot and after, (especially with something like Lithium, Rape Me, or Frances Farmer) I want to play my guitar and play it as hard as I can. Of course he's not the best technically, but he is the best emotionally.

  • @strokjis Besides, that's my opinion, you are not gonna change my fucking opinion.

  • @strokjis come on dudes, its all music, its subjective, ones mans beiber is anouther mans hendrix, lets agree to disagree, do you think cobaine, steve vai, Frusciante care who is better, they care about music!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Clayguy101 you gave word to my thinking ;P

  • @strokjis he had his own style...

  • @ranmore30

I'm not sure how you can listen to this song in particular and think that JF doesn't stretch beyond the usual. Listen to the overdubs on this song! Listen to the second verse where there are like 5 seperate one-note guitar tracks run through a MuRF filter behind the main riff! Who does that? You don't have to love his work, but you can't say somebody doesn't bring much to the table just because they play major fifths.

  • love this song

  • how is this one one of the least played?! its amazing!

  • @flabbergasm789 I know this is one of the best albums but the least listened too how is it possible????

  • @222Lightning She didn't ask you.....

  • Comment removed

  • @222Lightning So, somehow i'm a coward and not a man for saying "She didn't ask you..."? You're a fucking dick.

  • @TheGrungegirl123 Least listened to? It won a Grammy for Album of The Year........

  • @TheGrungegirl123 The city you live in or town can have a lot to do with what rock songs you get exposed to. Where I am there are way more Rap/R&B and Spanish stations than rock. Then two of the rock stations play Freebird, Stairway to heavon or Genisis every other five minutes. My favorite song off this double cd collection is "Hey" brillant simple lyrics. The Grateful Dead never made it commercialy with only one MTV video and look at their following back in the day.
