  • after this tv's there is no more fucking around

  • @zhestah Fotonic TV , images on air.

  • It is nice making a box of oled tv like aquarium and create like a real fish, snake, etc. out of the screen of oled tv...

  • well just wait a few years when its main stream like lcd and plasma are now and we will all have 60 inch OLED displays for like 3000 bucks.. just wait, and then they will have holographic displays for 20 000 bucks that we will have in 2025 for 3000 and after that it will be broadcast into our minds and no tvs but it will cost you your soul, but id get it....

  • sounds good, but i hope its better than the lcd i bought that went out in two years

  • what a cool stuff! imagine you got one over your bed with the PS3 and you game high def games

  • I can't wait to get on of those in a 60" for my living room! Burn the midnight oil SONY!

  • i would put one rite above my bed.

  • If we are progressing in biotecnology recicling. Can someone respond me what is going to be the price of that?

  • it cost's $2,500 just for the 11". get a lazer tv. they have that for 7,000 wich seems bad but a 65" lcd is 12,000. and laser looks just as good as oled and has all the same benfits but it's 10" thick but i don't mind giving 10" of space rather than thousands of dollars.

  • we got the one of the first plasma TVs from sony

(42") We bought it 2003 i thin or 2004 before the olympics in athens started to watch the games whith out huge TV. WE BOUGHT IT 4 12.000 CHF ( is like 11.500 USD ) and now the prices are too low you can buy a 42" and pay like 3000 with full HD panel

  • You can get one for about half that price that's better than the one you bought.

    But that's technology for you.

  • Try $999.00 for a 1080p plasma....

  • Did you mean the price of the screen, the price of recycling, or the price of progress?

With regards to progress and recycling this has to be a step forward, once perfected the manufacturing process is more green than the current technology as there are less components to manufacture and less materials to process. The energy and material costs of manufacture will be much lower than traditional LCD/Plasmas and infinetesimal compared to blowing the old glass CRTs.

  • @VikInOz Indeed ! , I hope the LED/PLASMA/CATODIC tecnology can be replaced quickly, that could be a huge saving on consumed energy and contaminating industrial processes.

  • ooo yeaa! jajaj

  • wow
