I just don't get it. Look at EWF. They compose, write and sing their own music. Heck, they can play instruments, read music and they can sing IN KEY. And us, what does our generation have? Beibers and Brittanys. "Pop" stars that can't read a single note of music, that need multi-million dollar auto-tuners just to stay in key, that can't string two of their own words together for a song. Bring back EWF and their kind, MUSICIANS who know and love their craft.

@starstarstar42 It's so much deeper than that....The musicians that back these crappy artists are the only passionate ones...go to a live show that might have a live band and you'll hear a "Re-Arrangement" of the song that sounds better than the "Studio recording" also when you have money hungry record executives concerned about the "Sales" instead of the sound. Things will kinda get fcuked up. back then The labels took a chance on new sounds. Now everybody sounds like someone else. SMH it's sad

Im sorry i see what you mean by that, because im stupid was about cause I havent recognized that he sang on normal tune! didn see that. even in the original performance in falsetto only. yes, good question, which is better, but the much importance seems to just to sing together, the normal (average tune just if his voice spelled that the falsetto level will conqueer the world, and when he sings some falsetto classic in normal tune to opposite the two brings an interresting performance.

kristianbejb, if you knew the level of fan I was you'd know that I know very well the great affect to which Philip applies his natural voice. Yernin' Learnin' and others just wouldn't be what they are without it. Even on the original I'll Write A Song For You he subtley slides into it. But for primary use, nah, it completely ruins the texture/emotion, particularly during the long intro. Listen and compare this to the original. In the end, however, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I wish Philip would've sang the beginning in pure falsetto per the original recording--his natural voice does not relay the tender emotion as his superb falsetto does. However, he redeemed himself toward the end. The crowd loved it!

Here I was simply saying that if you compare the singing on this version of the song with the original version you'll FEEL the difference.

This means that each person is the final judge on whether they like it or not. Meaning further that my likes and dislikes only stand true for me and that in your case, you are the "beholder" and you decide what sounds good to you.
