iv always wanted 2 visit dat after seeing the film n reading the book but it kinda defeats the whole message of the beach like......that it wasn't a tourist spot if i went i think it would be basically a slap in the face to the author

I was there week ago. Theres soo much more turists now, every day hundreds of people. And that clearing in the jungle, where this clip starts, its a clearing because the movie-people cut all the trees away. Also those palm-trees at the treeline are planted, there was no palm trees on this island before the movie.
