I thought a PIT manuever at that speed was considered too dangerous for most Departments. I do agree he needed to be stopped, but they were lucky the suspect's vehicle was the only one destroyed. But I guess if they had allowed him to go further, he may have taken out innocent people. Tough call!

At the 1:00 mark you can see that the police did try the stop sticks...where the driver of the van, who was refusing to stop by the way, almost hit the motorcyclists. The MSP did what they had to do to stop the maniac from injuring or killing anyone else. They were not acting as the judge or jury, they were doing their job and taking the guy into custody. Here's a hint - The bad guys have to be taken into custody before the judicial process begins.

It was just south of the Black Bear Casino on Interstate 35 in Carlton Minnesota. I thought the vehicles in the right lane we're suppose to pull over and stop when emergencey vehicles are approaching from the rear.

If I wanted to watch a music video, I'd go watch one. I love seeing vids of police dash cams, and it's interesting to hear the police chatter. In my opinion, the music didn't fit. That's just me. Not trying to be too critical, just felt the music was out of place and would have preferred to hear the comms in this type of video. This is the only video I've seen of this particular incident. Thanks for sharing it. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the music.

I like Minnesota cops. I usually see them by my house a few blocks away in a parking lot, I walk up to them and talk for a good while or until they get a call. I've gotten pulled over like twice but they don't mess with ya. If you have a good record they usually leave you alone and stuff, they've always been nice to me at least.

As soon as it is in a safe place to do it, Pull up beside the thug and put a bullet in his head it that is what it takes but stop him and stop him quick.
