  • They are playing a free show in Niagara Falls, NY at the Hard Rock Cafe, outdoors. It'll be great hearing this song fill up the streets. WNYCOMPUTERREPAIR

  • My Favorite Furs Song

  • Richard Butler actually looks better now than in the 80's, and WOW, his voice has not changed! And he is absolutely charismatic as ever....and....jubilant! Seems like he is having a blast in middle age! To those that call him old...he kicks most younger singers' asses...and the band, so tight...they rock! :-)

  • love the furs, hate the dancing . lol great song, amazing album as far as I'm concerned

  • Saw the Furs on June 12th in Minneapolis and they closed with "India" ... they just tore the house down all night. The crowd was a nice mix of people in their 20s, 30s and 40s (like me) ... as far as that last comment about "old rock stars" ... the ironic part about that comment is that it's intended to be a slam and some tacit appeal for them to "give it up" ... but the Furs bring more heat and fire than kids half their age and they just kicked our asses all night. Great band then and now!

  • Sorry, but : old rock stars are old.

  • ROCKS!

  • TPF still aliveeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!

  • Gods. Wish they toured again with Tim going easy on the sauce. Imitation of Christ and Flowers are classic songs from first album. Still to be discovered by GenY. Stupid white light! Album 2 also vintage Furs--same grit.

  • Wow they have still got it. Bag loads of it. Such talent, most of todays 'stars' aren't fit to mop the floor after them... thx for posting

  • Love the way John Ashton clicks the pickup in the opening of the studio version of this. It's like he's sending a message to the listener... Also love the way the drums beat more often with each iteration of the theme as the song builds. Genius really is an appropriate word. A truly awesome achievement, and something for about which all the members of the band, as well as Steve Lillywhite, should feel a great sense of pride.

  • Info on this line-up, anyone?

  • see the ceiling raining spit the beach is backwards isn't it

this is for the discoteque this is stupid i object

i love you and i love you and

anyone else here see them at kabuki nightclub on forever now tour? that was what, 83?

  • You beat me to it, BWM!!! Best lines of lyrics around, along with "Flowers", "Fall", and "Wedding Song". The beach IS backwards! Such imagery, so befitting the Indus River, as well! I saw the band in '83, at the Orpheum, Bahhhston, MA, MIND-BLOWING Creativity. BTW, Is anyone else here blown away by the sped-up sax at the end of the bridge of "It Goes On"? Devastating effect, it almost matches the solo in "DUMBWAITERS"!

  • I saw them live when this first came out about 25rys. ago. thanks!

  • They ARE fantastic,...

  • FAN-FREAKIN-TASTIC!!!!!

  • damn, they still sound fantastic live!

  • Awesome track! Thanks for posting.
