  • LOVE this song, it popped into my head randomly yesterday after 20 years--- THANKS!!!

  • This the way Sesame Street should be. Pain free to watch for all and not all about Elmo. En Vogue threw down and you can tell they actually had fun.

  • I totally love this song, i remember much of this and it's so true in many ways.

  • lol, big birds such a lazy bastard

  • not like d shitti sesame street them have now, with this rubbish called elmo's world and shit.

  • this is mi favorite childhood song, this is when sesame street was d real deal.

  • how kickass is this damn song!!!!

  • 5 people head no childhood!

  • When I was little this was like the best thing ever.

  • @lavalamp77 me too :)

  • How to get 360 waves with Bill Cosby, looking for positive or negative feedback, thanks

  • AY AY AY!!!!!! I totally <3 this song!!!!!

  • I LOVE THIS

    LOL

  • Dag. En Vogue did alot. Lol.

  • OHMYGOODNESS!! There are videos of me as a two year old sitting in front of my tv and singing along (poorly) with this song! Such good memories.. thanks for posting!

  • The two in the middle didn't sing on the 1st chorus

  • I love Elmo from 0:48 to 0:52

  • omg

  • I seriously need like, every single one of those tops. And the biker shorts. NEED.

  • omg!!!!!! isnt dis d absolute best song on sesame street eva!!!!!!!!!

  • heck I was prarie dogging earlier today.

  • Haha! Big Bird! :)

When I was little, I loved Prarie Dawn!

  • Thank you. I can now see that it's a vulture. I guess seeing the vulture from far away felt like it was Snuffy's body.

  • @afriendofbean Hey, since Ernie didn't speak here, did Rick Lyon perform him? (I can regognize the Jim-Ernie movements)

  • @muppetlover16 I'm not sure if Rick Lyon performed Ernie. It probably still could have been Steve Whitmire who performed Ernie since Steve Whitmire is the one who now performs and voices Ernie. (Steve Whitmire replaced Jim Henson after Jim Henson passed away).

  • @afriendofbean It couldn't possibly be Stevie Whitmire, like I said Ernie was mute, and since Rick was around in the 1990's (he left about 2002) It could be him

  • @muppetlover16 Yes, also Super Grover was mute too but, I'm sure his same performer was performing him too. However, if you think Rick Lyon performed Ernie, I believe you.

  • @afriendofbean This song is the only one I like that didn't give me the willies "Exploring in Your Closet" with the creepy girl, talking socks and jerky animations making things move around will some ominous voice sung about getting "trapped in the closet" to me was nightmare fuel, I hope Sawing14s deletes that video forever!!! and I mean it!!!

  • @muppetlover16 I think I remember the "Exploring In Your Closet" skit. The only skits that scared me was the "Mysterious Theater" skits seeing the painted woman in the intro.

  • @afriendofbean You don't know creepy til you see it, cover your eyes and plug your ears and say "la-la-la I'm not listening "until its over

  • @muppetlover16 When I saw the "Mysterious Theater" skits, I didn't cover my eyes and ears. Since the "Mysterious Theater" skits scared me, all I did was just quickly change the channel for eight seconds since the "Mysterious Theater" intros were probably like eight seconds. Or, sometimes at the end of a Sesame Street skit, I would hold the remote and change the channel back and forth just to be ready in case "Mysterious Theater" was going to be the next skit.

  • @afriendofbean I mean LISTEN to "Exploring in your closet" and run

  • @muppetlover16 I will watch and listen to the "Exploring In Your Closet" skit when I have a chance.

  • @muppetlover16 wow, the only good copy I could find of "Exploring In Your Closet" is some loser calling it subliminal messaging (e5ifgJR0CEo). skip to 0:50. cool film.

It looks like the animation work of Jim Blashfield. He did music videos for Michael Jackson and Paul Simon.

  • @crnkmnky I'd rather not watch it creeps me out, BIG TIME, especially the part with the talking socks, so NO, NO, and double NO!!!!!"

  • From 0:52-0:54, was that Snuffy standing next to that tree?

  • 2:21 LOL At Oscar

  • This song is so catchy!!!!!!! I really used to work up a sweat dancing around the house to Sesame Street songs LOL

  • count von count has a weird hair but i love his accent muah aha aha 1234!!!

  • check out ernie's moves from 1:34-1:51! lol

whoever did the ernie puppet, really must of really wanted to jam with the beats by doing cool dance moves

  • @dudetocartman Jim Henson did Ernie but Jim Henson died.

But someone took him over who knows?

    Google.

  • omg....this vid just brought back sooo many memories. I loved sesame street as a kid.

  • this might be a dumb question, but y does the purple top girl always turn her head and look at dawn when her cue is up?

jw, b/c every time dawn's cue came up, she always looked at her.

  • idk...I c it too....but there recording a video........with puppets, and greenscreen.....with a director specializing in puppeteering....and they have to take their cues from the song playing, and a radio.....

  • Good way to start up the special, first off.

As for the song, loved it as a kid, still love it as a teen. Pretty energetic song to sing and dance too (and that's a good thing). Besides, you got to love the semi-goof during the "adventure, WE SWEAR TO YOU! adventure, OH WHAT A THRILL" parts!

  • Adventure-Adventure-We are on adventure today!! Not the right words-but I've been singing this for the last 15 years-MC Hammer throwback-gotta love it!!! I loved watching SS with my kids who are now teenagers-grown-Thanks for sharing!! Awesome!!!

  • I remember this segment. It was so great!

  • I used to hate that little pink girl muppet. She always sounds so whiny

  • omg!!!! i loved this when i was little!! thanks for uploading this!!

  • look at her face at 00:28

  • I grew up on this song.

    YESSSSSS!!!!

  • OMG Yah know!! i havent heard this is years and im singing it like it was just yesterday. I guess they dont make em' like they use to.

  • thanks for pointing out the count's dancing. i never noticed it before. i love it. my 16 month old daughter and i are cracking up. what movie is this from?

  • I love this song. I loved it when I was a kid still do En Vogue are the best. What are all the names of the girls in this group? I just know 2 Dawn, Maxine and who are the other two called? Did En Vogue realise this as a single? I know they did it for the sesame street CD emplooza I really want that CD does somebody know how to get this?. I wonder what En Vogue are up to now are they still together or not? I love En Vogue forever and I aways will. I am a true En Vogue fan. Adventure is so ace.

  • Dawn Robinson (red V top), Maxine Jones (red square), Cindy Herron (purple), Terry Ellis (blue)

  • I loved this song when I was little!

  • I absolutely LOVED this movie as a kid XD Thank you Thank You THANK YOU!

  • look at the counts dance at 1:00 to 1:16 so hilarious! i love this

  • Dawn really should rap!!! She's good on their cd!!!LOL. Random I know!!!

  • what song does she rap on?

  • The song "It Ain't Over Til The Fat Lady Sings." I have it on my iPod!!! Dawn raps all of the verses instead of everyone singing the verses and only Maxine sings the chorus!!! It's on their Funky Divas album!!

  • Best clip ever !! I've been look for this one for ages. Thank You !

  • them outfits!

  • I remember seeing this on seseme street in a movie as a little kid. Still love it.

  • which movie was it i remember their being two and one took place at night

  • This was always my favorite

  • Man! I just want to relive all these memories or even make a time machine just fly back to the 90's and just live there 4ever.

  • The memories...... I wanna go back to the 90's!

  • ha ha, Elmo has a jet XD, plus thnx for the Prairie Dawn and Big Bird and Ernie w/ a celeb moment!

  • LMAO memories..did anyone notice how on the chorus when they all do their solo adlibs, Cindy and Terry are the only one two on cue? then each Cindy looks to Dawn each time on her cue who finally gets it right on 1:37?..Max is only on cue once at 2:35 HILARIOUS

  • What is hilarious is the fact that you think that they're off cue and theyre not. They both came in on up beats!!!LOL. That's whats funny!!!

  • Cindy and Terry are the only consistent ones for the whole clip. Same as I remember back in the day..

  • Look closely.Dawn and Max do not say "Our story's true" 1:04-1:05 or "Say what you will" (although Max says "will" w/o "say what" 1:13) on the first round of the chorus..the second time Dawn says it, but is late still, saying "story's true" and the look on her face says "oops" and you can spot the edit job and Max is off still though she manages to mouth the word "say".lastly at the end, they both finally get it together.

  • oops...i mean max Max manages to say "what you will" because she was still saying "adventure", still missing the cue to say "say what you will"...

  • Gotcha. THAT makes more sense, because they were never off beat!!!LOL.

  • cool..not the dancing...LOL

  • o my goodness i remember this song from when i was a kid. it's the best

  • I love this video...my son has the 25th sesame street anniversary tape and I always fast forward to this part, lol

  • might I might also add that after messin up on their cues notice how they all get crunk towards the end of the song when they finally get it right!!! LOL!!!

  • OMG. Thanks for posting. Elmo was kicking it!

  • luv this vid thnx 4 posting it!

  • I LOVED this segment on SS as a kid! I thought they were so cool!
