I am glad you posted this, I had my 1st consultation with my surgeon today, he says he can do it as soon as I want it, but I feel like I want to put it off to get used to the idea, but I know I will just freak myself out more. I am confident though, my surgeon is Dr. Faveretti, he helped invent the lap band, so he definitely knows what he is doing!

Nice to see people posting the positive videos. I have had a great success with the lap-band and I think all those failed anti-lap band videos are really misleading, making it sound like everyone will fail. It's not for everyone, but it's not so one sided. Good for you :o)

What is the occurrence of food blockage tho? I'm larger than you were when you had yours, I'm more like a 4X and trying to go the lap band route.

Thanks for this video. I had mine 2 days ago, Dec 19th. This just reminds me of the positives and what is to come in the next few years. I am a size 22 right now, and it is very hard for me to see myself as a size 6. Good for you!

hey GIGI, I WATCHED UR VIDEO TODAT AND IT HELPED ME ALOT. YOU SEE I'LL BE GETTING THE BAND IN DEC.-JAN. UR VIDEO KEPT BREAKING UP BUT FOR THE MOST PART I GOT UR POINT. Thank you so much Gigi!!! I got the lap band with Dr, Gonzalez, one month after watching your video. I am so pleased with the professionalism of his team. I have lost 19 pounds after only one month and I an doing great. There was a little pain that lasted about a day and a half but i took the pain medication and was fine. I will keep you posted!
