  • @alliequinones the sarcasm was impossible to detect without any tone. and yeah, its bad to chew gum while you sing.

  • look at that fuckin' hipster chewing gum while he's singing.

  • @alliequinones really? of montreal was hip before it was hip dummy. theyve been around since late ninties. do your research before you talk shit.

  • who is the faggot with the chops anyways? his voice just irritates me the entire song.

  • @skatearlyesterday A member of Of Montreal... Youre ignorant.

  • You can download this song and a few other ones off of the Daytrotter Session that Of Montreal did. You have to find it on the daytrotter website, but its totally worth it. Its kind of old, but its all I've been listening to these past couple of days.

  • @skatearlyesterday

It's not the exact same version... frankly I don't care for the "tongue in cheek" quality of the studio version, which is sort of reflected in the mp3 you reference. It's not bad, but this is by far the best version I've ever heard.

  • what a lovely, lovely, lovely love song!

  • hey you in the chops, spit out your gum

  • @sockerfool12 haha

  • love love love so freakin' much. <3

i love the acoustic versions of their songs.

this is def. one of my all time favorites.

  • I can't believe a song that's originally pretty anyway could become more beautiful. :)

  • Glad the guy on the right could get some singing done in between his gum chewing

  • lol yeah it is a little funny looking. he wouldve played guitar too, but they only had one guitar around with them

  • *chomp chomp

  • they yelled at him to get on the black sheet, the guitarist would otherwise do a solo

he retaliates by chewing his gum incessantly

  • ok so from canada and that guy looks just like neil young.

theres gotta be a common thread here

  • They're not from Canada. They're from Atlanta.

  • They're not from Atlanta. They're from Athens.

  • Peaches and Pecans, it's all the same.

  • But peach is a fruit and pecan is a nut, how can they be the same?

  • ...I think you are BOTH right!

  • you can eat both of them? lol

  • so are u saying that apple and hamburger are the same... cause u can eat both of them? =P

  • yes they are the same. they are both foods. trying to be a smartass?

  • I do believe violaine said 'It's all the same' not 'They're the same.' It's to say everything is made from the same stuff, ya'know?

  • im totally going to translate this to the ukulele

  • Oh man, that is an amazing idea. We should collaborate!

  • ahh!!! let me know once you do

  • this is emajs, a majs, and b minors in here as far as i can tell.

  • satanic panic in the attic is of montreal finest and this song one of its best and sounds suprisingly good in accoustic aswell

  • I LOVE the way Kevin sits in that chair.

And sings that song. It's such a cute song.

  • B.P. is awsome

  • kevin always look frustrated when he sings :)

haha i love kevin hes so awesome

  • "whoah. I didn't expect the acoustic version of this to be so awesome."

  • "wonder how I'm managing to smile even though I can't pay my rent" (or something I don't remember exactaly)

I know, he looks so happy!!

No, I know he wrote it a long time ago, but still, I think it's ironic.

  • BP is a beast.

  • they have great voices, love that in this in video you can really heat that.

  • This is my favorite Of Montreal ditty. I love this acoustic version. Wish they would release this on CD!

  • Does anyone know if there's a way to get the audio tracks for this?

  • yes.

there are websites that let you convert youtube for mp3. google for it.

  • They did a Daytrotter session once that had a very similar acoustic version of Lysergic Bliss and also some songs from Hissing Fauna are You the Destroyer. Go to Daytrotter dot com and when you get there do a search for of Montreal.

  • extraordinaria!

  • sweet vocals on this one

  • Quite kind, thanks for the share mang.

  • love it x infinity

  • one of the best songs by of montreal.

  • Satanic Panic in the Attic is easily their best album...which, of course, includes this outstanding song! Great video!

  • I want to say that Sunlandic Twin is their best CD. Too many really amazingly unique well thoguht up songs on one CD. It's crazy how much talent Kevin has. I heard he already has plans for a new CD called Skeletal Lamping.

  • That'd be nice. :) The guy REALLY knows how to write a wonderful pop song.

  • I'm seeing them on Tuesday in detroit. And a local detroit magizine had a small spot about them and they interviewed Bryan Poole. He said Kevin has already written all the songs for the CD and that they are planning to record it all together as a band (instead of kevin doing 90% himself) in January. So prolific.

  • my favorite is Coquelicot

so wacky and it creates this

whole world when you close your eyes

    and listen to it.
