I've been to the Cardinals NFC Championship Game, A DBack World Series Game, A Suns Finals Game, and this was, by far, the most exciting game I've ever been to! 3 goals in the 3rd period for the win, are you serious?!?!?! . I'll never forget this game! Thanks for the post.
yeah of all the coyotes games ive been to, this was the BEST experience ive ever had...yes we lost the series, but at the time it was huge...taking the lead in the series over detroit after this game, and after being down 2-0 in the first minute was the best feeling for all coyotes fans...after the yotes scored the third goal, i dont think anyone even sat down for the rest of the game...loudest crowd reaction i think ive ever seen
i miss that center ice moon...i think they should bring it back
Agree w/furry115: I went to the Cards NFC Championship game, a couple of D-Backs NLCS games, a Suns playoff game... but I've never heard a crowd so loud as this game that I went to. The energy in the arena was amazing. Here's to a 2010 Whiteout!

There is already a contingent of loyal fans in Phoenix, and while you may not see it with their attendance numbers, watch a highlight reel for one of their games. Everyone jumps up and goes absolutely insane after a goal.
The 10,000 people at an average PHX game can sound like the 17,000 at San Jose games on occasion.
Funny how people say hockey cannot succeed in Phoenix, how quickly they forget when the 'Yotes used to fill the America West Arena in their early years & made the playoffs every year; even though they couldn't get past the 1st round, they always made for an extremely tough opponent, as the Red Wings found out in '98. And I'm a Canadian as well BTW.
Their old jerseys were much better. Same with the Diamondbacks.

Our team wasn't that great that year...we really underachieved. It was the next few years after that where we really turned it up.
