  • i now know why Mozart's music is classical...and why some music called classical

they called classical because they can be transformed into any sort of music like trance, power metal rock...FREAKING AMAZING!!! IT WAS CREATED IN 17th century!!!

  • the original name of the song is lacrimosa, great Job.

  • What is the original name of this song? Or which part of his Requiem was it?

  • MOZART the students best friend! Clearly a genius, made this sort of music far before the time of computers.

  • 0:57 killer build up... HURRY UP AND DROP ALREADY MY HEART IS GONNA STOP...

  • yeaahhhh!! DJ MOZART!!!!

  • Love it

  • to whoever think this is a remix of Dies Irae, i'm pretty sure that you'll find it is actually a remix of Lacrimosa

  • Mozart's work is still epic today. A true musical genius <3

  • in your faze mozert !

  • @MrsPiratish My neighbors and I* lol

  • Forget the replay button, YouTube just needs an "eternal loop" button.

  • I think Mozart, the rock star of his time, would've approved of people shaking up the norm and absorbing his work into something else original. He wasn't the guy to play by the rules and neither am I nor the artist who made this!

  • the best I´ve heard in techno world

  • i can't find this certain remix of Requiem anywhere, Without the techno part I mean. I know it's requiem but whats the original that this is based off of?

  • @toledosan I think the most parts are from "Lacrimosa"

  • @toledosan Die Irae?

  • @NikikiLuvsU *Dies Irae

  • You guys in the top comments are so cool people, yea yea xD hhhhh

  • Youtube really needs a replay button

  • @Mrminico92 it has a replay button, it needs and "automatic replay button".. :P

  • even though some say this is destroying mozarts music, if he were allive today he would of loved it, he would of been like "WHAT KIND OF MUSIC, SOUND IS THIS???" he would of been in awe to create the different moods...

  • hhhahaha....invited the police...very nice!!

  • my tummy just grumbled.

  • Magic xD

  • dramatic beauty

  • Really awesome! :)

  • und so stirb die deutsch kunst. naja sua geil^^ weiter machen

  • @248thEvan soul food

  • i wish that mozart coud hear that and say what he think^^.

  • @jobenal4ever Honestly I think that if Mozart heard this he'd be rather blown away by the fact that music has advanced so far and that his music, no matter how old, is still being listened to and used for inspiration. He may not like the song itself but he may very well be flattered that he is so legendary as a composer. :)

  • @DurianPeaceFighter that is actually the most logicall idea.

  • @DurianPeaceFighter Well said.

  • @DurianPeaceFighter if he would hear this he would drop dead :D

  • I think I could play this if I wanted to.

  • I wish it was an hour longer so that I could keep on listening to it.

  • @MrsPiratish Invite them again. I did and played them something else. Then they played me something. Shit song, no melody. Felt I shouldn't comment. They didn't seem too happy with their lyrics either :o)

  • Thought I'd hate it. Nah. Love it. Mozart must be rockin' in his grave.

    Thanks for sharing :o)

  • @MrsPiratish Hope they liked it too :o)

  • gay?

  • Thumbs up if you think the top comments are gay .

  • @raiderstar22 i think your gay

  • Amazing....wish it was download-able!

  • The Mozart track used is Kies Arae from his Requiem.

  • Mozart would be amused.

  • This makes mozart look horny, right girls?

  • I was reading some of the comments here...This video is good but it is not that great imo. I just kinda meh'd

  • I heard he was very genius ,this would just blow his mind

  • Did all the retro-freaks click on this video just to pick a fight? If you don't like techno, or don't think mozart should be remixed, simple solution... don't click on it.

  • beathoven would be very proud

  • Thumbs up if you like the video and don't use Youtube as a political debate club.

  • @pirategodess18 By "political debate", do you mean "hurling uncreative, unintelligent, f-bomb laden, insults at those with differing opinions"?

  • i have heard (in the last few months) very much OLD songs and music remixed

and i think it shows respect

  • wats the name of the original song

  • @testloom Mozart - Requiem

  • iigy sokkal jobb (remixelve ) :S

  • LIKE LIKE LIKE LIKE!!!!!!!!!!

  • gilipoyasss

  • that one comment with 80 likes up there is effin stupid!

This is really legit! You did a great job on this song ^_^

coming from someone who is well versed in both classical and digital sound.

Makin tracks is really hard, this is amazing.

Kudos (even though thats a douchebag word lol)

  • @TheViolistSR You must be the stupid one if you don't truly understand what he was saying.

He was in fact calling this brilliant and commenting against all the douche bags that were bashing this rendition.

so go right a head and think you are brilliant in stating your opinion but make sure you understand it first.

  • Where exactly is the beginning of the song from?

  • oh my...! The one who made this version RAPED the song, sorry.

  • @jadegirl12 TBH I have delved a bit into both techno and classical music in the last year, and I am pretty sure he/ she didn't do anything wrong in this track.

If you like it or not however, it is a matter of opinion. I personally liked it.

  • @mpouzoukokefalosgr

Then good for you. : )

  • If you like this, you might also enjoy this version:

    watch?v=patBZ1iLgag

  • I like this...very good remix!

  • Not better than original but still good.

  • i am Sure that mozart Would have been Proud That someone Was Able to improve Apon his creation (There is NOTHING wrong With the original) is just that REAL talent Does Not Come but once inna while... We Should All have appreciation The people Who have the Talent to Combine two Such Distinctly Different genres of music and were able to Make Something FANTASTIC!!!!

  • @AarokkDaarkk improve?!?! are you out of your freaking mind?!?!?!?

  • @maxichalba I did Not mean improve In That Sense.... I meant improve as add to a creation that was already perfect to begin with...

  • I like this ! :)

  • this version was made by Rank 1 for sensations white...it was the anthem of the night

  • I find it so interesting how people from Germany and Austria listen to this song the most and after that America and France are third and fourth, well w/e. This song is great thanks

  • excellent, extra

  • How did you remix this song???? PLZ RESPOND!!! :D

  • The begining is absolutely epic!!!

  • Trance music is very similar to classical, that's why many remixes of classical songs sounds amazing! They are both all about music, vocals are not most important like in many other genres.

  • eleos! pourga malaka

  • As they say imitation is the greatest form of flattery.

  • And it is people like Aphex Twin (Richard D. James) that make me overjoyed to be in the present, where some music is just as interesting today, and completely original.

  • This I do like, sorry but you just made mozart's music million times better lol

  • @CokeCokeCokeCoke Somehow, I have an odd suspicion you like Coke. This may require further investigation...

  • nice, but u should check out Requiem by The Morrighan - even better trance version!

  • lol sounds like sensation.

  • THE BEST REMIX EVER! AWESSSSSSOME!

  • This is the song played at Sensation White Edition 2003 (in the Netherlands), this was the anthem to it.

I really enjoyed those parties, Atleast the years 2000-2005.

  • Seven people missed the like button.

  • The work Rank 1 have done here is similar to that which Paul Oakenfold did with his Urban Soundtracks, telling classic literature in a manner befitting it's time. The original literature, as with the original work of Mozart would have been based on other tales, or at least influenced.

  • Well said Consciousish and jaydeybugz, I agree totally. I feel that bringing the work of mozart to a generation of people who wouldn't necessarily be listening to his work is an art form in itself. Surely the point is to spread the ideas of music as far and wide as possible and to connect to as many people as possible.

  • Shouldn't a requiem make you want to cry, not dance?

  • @gwsmith79 why would you cry to a trance remix o_o?

  • @Phlumps I was commenting that since a requiem is a funeral song, where one would presumably cry, & not a dance song. There are better requiem remixes: Requiem for a Tower, Lacrymosa done by Evanessence, anything done by Trans-Siberian, and I want to say that Pink has a decent one (maybe), for example. Then there is the exception of Free Bird, a requiem that you can dance to, but its not techno...my opinion is being colored by having been to many funerals lately...

  • @gwsmith79 Don't assume anything :). Where I am from, we dance in the funerals too; kind of a good bye party...

  • @Olenkazerkera550 LOL! Of course! I was just suggesting that the original was not intended for dancing. If it was a New Orleans funeral song, of course! But when its too far down the requiem spectrum (bawling eyes to raucous dancing) to even try to make it a dance...it seems disjointed or out of place...personally, I want Free Bird to be mine...8-)

  • @gwsmith79 :) fair enough :)

  • <3<3<3<3<3

  • classic!

  • the best song i ever herd of trance ;)

  • This is gorgeous.

And please, commenters, don't feed the trolls.

  • Long live Rank 1, the author of this remix and a great trance artist. Thanks m8 !

  • ich bin gay

Vote up wenn ihr findet ich habe recht

  • YOU IDIOTS! NOBODY RUINED THE SONG, THEY REMIXED IT SO IF YOU DONT LIKE IT GO AND WATCH HAPPY TREE FRIENDS. You just show how dumb you are.

  • man i hate techno shit but i LOVE this one, love love love the minor chord progressions!!!!

  • Magnificent, incredible, supreme, glorious!!!!!!

  • Remixing Classical music just shouldn't happen. "If Mozart was around today I'm sure he'd be using all technological advancements to his advantage in order to produce genius." - that's exactly right. He would be, but he was a genius. None of you are. There's too much to be said about both sides of the party, but one thing can be said: if you don't understand why the opposition is aggravated by your tastes, go get an education. That goes for all you profound Classical scholars too.

  • surely remixing mozart shows appreciation to a glorious composer? i absolutely adore mozart and i love hearing peoples remixes of any of his work. i think people should be open to hearing the old being brought to the new, i personally dont think it takes away anything of the original flare. it brings a new flare of its own and is entirely inspiring.

  • @jaydeybugz well said :)

  • @jaydeybugz

That is a Brilliant comment !!

  • this is great. The original piece is unbeatable but remixing something is a great way to move it across the generations. stop hatin peepz!

  • I hate conservative fascists who despise remixes of the classical masters.

Things change, and nothing is set in stone. Get used to it you backward fucks.

  • @Consciousish and I hate people who are unable to make their own music, and they have to use somelse music. i'm curios to hear from you what is the common point between classical music and discotheque music. musicians study years and years to play mozart, then a faggot come and use acomputer to make music wiht the base of someelse music. not even able to compose their own shit. this is more than stupidy! that guy had pure shit instead of brain.

  • @ivanbrunetta You have much to unlearn. The ability to study Mozart for years and years, and then play his music just as he would, doesn't change a thing. It changes only by reinventing, rearranging, transposing, remixing.

Everything can be appreciated. I find it funny that if Mozart were alive, he would probably be using the most technological medium available. In other words, I'm positive that he would dabble in Techno and Trance.

But pretentious Retro-freaks insist we remain primitive.

  • @Consciousish

    I agree.....

I bet Mozart would be a lot like my grandpa...

  • @Consciousish I love the image of Mozart dabbling in techno and trance.

  • @Consciousish BOOM!!! Comment stamp of epic approval :)

  • @Consciousish I totaly agree and if you think about it when the time mozart lived in the music he wrote was modern in todays music world techno is a modern form of music

  • @Consciousish I think you're more stuck up than he is. You don't even understand what he means.

  • @Consciousish Furthermore, what makes you think you know what Mozart would do?

  • @Consciousish "But pretentious Retro-freaks insist we remain primitive"....that's because a lot of people resist change especially the conservative ones.

  • @tkathryyn go fuck yourself....=D

  • @Consciousish this remix is very good but it has compeltely missed the point of the requiem

  • I think if Mozart and other great composers of the time were alive today they would be shitting their pants at the technology we have today and how we can manipulate and create sounds that can't be created with "conventional" instruments. Reminds me of bill n teds adventure when they bring back beethoven to the modern world.

  • @ivanbrunetta by the way :

molecular biology university of Turin Italy. Ph.D in neuroscience at the University of College London

With credentials like this (taken from your YouTube account) I find it amusing that you use words like faggot, shit, and fucking. I think you are a sad individual who feels intellectually threatened by everyone else, that would explain your anger.

  • @Consciousish what up dude. do you think that only because i got acouple of degrees at school i'm not supposed to express my self like everybody else? my point is: mozart wrote the music. this guy no. i'm ok with techno but at least compose your own music. this is simply blasphemy. mozart remixed? are u all totattly fucked up. people go to conservatory for 11 years to get a degree in piano to be able to play mozart, and this idiot call this remix music?? why he did not compose his own music??

  • @ivanbrunetta Why do you care so much?

    Its a video on YouTube.

  • @Consciousish i dont' know. maybe because i reconise the genius behind mozart' music, and these techno remixes make my heart crying. i dont' know. is there anything you really care about? an hobby..i dont' know. supposing you really care about flowers and you know a lot. then someone came convincing people that a cucumber is the most beautiful flower. you know that's not true right? and u get pissed of because people don't see things as they are...

  • @ivanbrunetta wow dude nobody ever said this version was better than the original I think we can all say that the original always remains the best. However giving this piece a new look is fun and nice. You shouldn't take it to serious.

  • @kingman1315 i said more than one time, that i liked this...just wondering why the guy did not make one by himself. that's it..dudes

  • @ivanbrunetta he did a remix of it, it dosent necessaryliy mean u change the whole music, just tweet the music a bit to add style or whatever ;)

  • @xoxmarshaxox i can agree with that. The reality is the I like this mix. my point was that it would have been better if the guy composed this music by his own. :-)

  • @ivanbrunetta yes but why is he a low life or whatever u had said before, just because he did not compose his own music? :/

  • @ivanbrunetta surely with the mindset of "people who dont make their own music" you would actually be frowning upon mozart? seeing as in the regency period he was simply creating music that was available constantly to all of the people at that time. he certainly wasnt something "new" just because he actually wrote down his own notes doesnt particulary mean he was creating his OWN music as it were. it was still within a genre that was massly around. i adore mozart but your opinion is flawed.

  • Theres a reason your gonna be homeless in a couple years, learn to speak english and go jump off a bridge you cock pancake.

  • @drmason88 you should learn at least other 3 languages before speaking ignorant. anyway enjoy this piece of shit as the only thing you can like is shit.

you wont; have any problem of money...thanks to your mother who work on the street making money out of blojobs to the dog passing by

  • You proved my point exactly, keep making yourself look like an idiot on the internet. That bridge is waiting for ya.

  • @drmason88 u started first. anyway u proved so many points about human stupidity.

  • Human stupidy derives from closed minded people like you. Go to the bridge, the world will be a much more tolerant place.

  • @drmason88 closed minded? why the guy did not have the ball to create a piece of music on his own. you tell me that, and i will be ok.

  • @drmason88

The world doesn't need to be tolerant......

  • @drmason88 haha its funny you say that cause the homeless center in dallas is called "The Bridge"

  • Excellent remix!!
