  • look, rec cheerleading (side line sports cheerleading) ISNT a sport.... but i do competitive cheerleading and that is totally a sport!!!! there is a big difference! go look up allstars cheerleading worlds and click on any team!!! i promse your thoughts will change!

  • yeah yeah to everyone who don't think cheerleading is a sport, they may think that a tomato is a vegetable. WRONG! Cheerleading is a sport, just like a tomato is a fruit!

  • I have to disagree. Cheerleading seems to me like a shallow version of gymnastics. The stunts are great, and require a lot of self-confidence and trust. But, other than that, there's not a lot to cheerleading. All I saw in this video was short skirts, skimpy tops, and fake appearances. I'm a professional dancer and gymnast. I personally don't see a career for a former cheerleader. Except for teaching other potential losers how to be cheerleaders. Good luck with that.

  • @KleeD213 yeah we tumble, tumbling is part of gymnastics we might not have a beam or bars but we have a mat, that we throw ard stunts on and sneakers? Are you a dumbass not everyone always wears them at practice.. if cheerleading isn't hard then how come its one of the top sports where people get injuries? I broke my tibia bone, thats a big bone in your leg from just catching a girl from a heel stretch full down.. soo unless your a CHEERLEADER you don't know what your talking about.

  • nice!

  • coclate girl what ever ur name is how bout you go up in a stunts and fall out of it ill bet u u will trust me u couldnt get a full dance or cheer for one holw day or in one whole day so be quiet

  • its called cheerleading because you cheer at games. sure maybe your arms get a tiny work out from clapping your pom poms together to make the most annoying sound. also no one really pays attention or hears the cheerleaders except a couple guys...

  • @xocalibeachgirlxo your an idiot cheer is a sport we do dance, gymnastics, and flexability, and strength so shut up

  • @xocalibeachgirlxo OKay if you think cheerleading is nothing i wanna see you get your butt out there and see how well you can do it yeah i doubt you can't do anything so shut your face unless you have tried it...it made our state champs football players puke for just one practice they never wanted to try it again...eat it

  • Athletes lift weights, CHEERLEADER lift people...come on, all of you haters you go up 8 feet in the air in pull ur foot above ur head...go flip 3 times in the air and land it perfectly...quit hating

  • @TheSexualChocolat if you don't want us getting all defensive don't tlk crap like that

  • THAT WAS FOR THAT THESEXUALCHOCOLAT GIRL ICK U DISCUST ME

  • EVER TRIED IT? GET A LIFE! HARDEST SPORT EVER AND I BET U COULDNT EVEN LAST ONE MINUTE DOING THIS SO SHUT UP AND GET A LIFE CUZ OBVI. U DNT HAVE 1. U JUST SIT ON YOUTUBE.COM AND RUN UR MOUTH WHEN ID BE AT THE GYM DOING WHAT I DO BEST... MY LIFE... CHEERLEADING... A SPORT

  • @MichelleC840CaylaE8 I hate how you cheerleaders get so defensive about it thought,

    Its declared not a sport....

  • Please look up acrobatic gymnastics its a sport that needs more publicity! :)

  • just the beginning of my convoluted plan.... MUAHAHHAHAA

  • I'll tell u why people don't like cheerleaders and dont think its a sport its because cheerleaders get popularity in school, and are seen always as being sexy

gymnasts can look the same, train the same hours do the same tricks etc.. but they're turned away from being popular because they're a 'freak' of nature

i respect cheerleaders and I DO THINK IT IS A SPORT but they're so self righteous sometimes

i think people need to calm down on this whole "this sport is /harder/ a sport" issue

  • @100deidara001 No...its because waaaay back when sports teams were playing each other it was helpful for the teams morale and confidence when they had support from the fans.

Ever wonder why they are called "Cheerleaders"? It is because they pump the crowd up for the sport team...they "lead the cheer", it is merely entertainment for the crowd. To call it a sport is idiotic.

It has nothing to do with jealousy you poor fool.

  • poor fool? well if having mild respect for other sports mean i'm a poor fool then so be it. and guess what? i do circus training, and i train 7hrs 4 times or as often as possible, until my hands bleed, and for what? it's not a sport, but i'm not mad, i want to entertain other people and be in shows etc.. as much as i'd like circus to be a sport, it's not, im called a freak, but im over it. i may be contradicting myself here, but i think if they make it an official sport, it may open some eyes

  • @100deidara001 you no longer have a point, just nonsensical ramblings. its ok

  • @forgetfuldays oh, i thought you wouldn't understand the concept of tolerance. its ok ;D

  • @100deidara001 Your absolutely right! I have no tolerance for stupidity. kthksbai :D

  • @forgetfuldays wow you have your head so far up your ass i cant even believe it.

have fun feeling superior over some youtube comments

  • Just asking but in cheerleading why do they have so many people just lifting one person?

  • @kaloula17 because some coaches are safty freaks

  • cheer is a sport girls and boys come in to a gym and practice 2-4 hours they pracice to win just like foot ball abaseball and soccer and thay go out they on the platform and perfrom for juges and they all have one goal....... and that is to win. just like footballl baseball and soccer so YES cheer is a sport!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Cheerleading is definetly a sport i agree......... but the photos you showed weren't very convincing

  • Cheerleading is not a sport, it is entertainment...

No different from actors / singers / dancers, people who perform for other people's enjoyment.

  • i want to see you put a girl up in the air in a lib by your self. im a girl, not a guy cheerleader and i do that in my routean and also cheer is on tv ay less than football so no football is etertaiment , just like actors.

  • @ilovecheermix19 Go to a circus, they put all of you to shame with acrobatic techniques, and yes its just for entertainment. Cheerleading is not a sport, it is entertainment like I said before. Anything else?

  • cheerleading is a sport! cheerleaders work just as hard as any other sports person to become the best they can be...i think some people need to stop hating on it just because they think that their own sport is better....please just get a grip :L

  • CHEERLEADING IS A SPORT !!!!!!!!!!! <3

  • i hate when people compare cheerleading and gymnastics

but i think all star cheerleading is a sport not cheer when u stand around and yell "GO.FIGHT.WIN!"

    (:

  • Cheer is a sport and it's very dangerous also!! You try getting thrown 30 feet in the air and trusting blondes to catch you!!

  • @sistersof95 not all bases are blondes!!! stop stereotyping!

  • well 48 people think its easy and i would PAY to see them try to do that

  • im not in cheerleading but i totally agree that its a sport .They freakin work their ass off .Tell me ,can anyone football player or basketball player do multipy flips and memorize a thousand cheers? HELL NO!! They risks their lives flying up 40 feet in the air .So stop arguing ! Its so obvious CHEERLEADING IS A SPORT!!

  • At 0:44 the girl is doing the bowenarrow wrong :O heheheh

  • YES IT IS I LOVE TO CHEER IT IS IN MY BLOOD

  • cheer leading is a sport ! its the only sport tht i know of tht ppl still preform when hurt , risk there lives everyday flying && throwning fulls , and its one of the hardest workouts ! my best frnd broke her foot and still went in did her whole routine , and she broke her right foot , if tht would of been any foot ball or basket ball player they would be out for 6-8 weeks , but we cheer with fractures and brakes ! its harder then any other sport out there !!

  • @itsmedealwithit12 no the f*ck its not. Stop fooling yourself. I'd like to see a cheerleader go through the physical training that all these pro REAL athletes (basketball, football, soccer, track, etc) go through. your as*es would not last a minuet. I'd love to introduce y'all to our daily basketball "warmup" we do on my team.

  • @CherryFairy693 erm hello? REAL ATHLETES? how about you go for cheer training before you start thrashing cheerleaders as if cheer is so easy, bet you wouldn't last a min in cheer training too. Don't be so full of yourself. I'll gladly shut up if your basketball players could lift a girl with one hand. BUT CAN THEY? GEEZ.

  • @LitxCruiser Lmao, whatever. Your still not proving anything and you cheerleaders are still nothing compared to basketball players, soccer players, football players, track stars, etc. My younger sister used to be in cheer sweetie, as far as actually physically getting in shape, y'all do not do shit compared to what I do in my pracitises.

  • @CherryFairy693 im in basketball cheerleading and gymnastics cheerleading is a hard sport in my case i cheer 4 a team that is very serious about wat we do and as far as im concerned it wayy harder than basketball jus sayn u hav ur opinion other ppl have theirs please dnt bag on my sport because itz not 1 u want 2 participate n

  • @CherryFairy693 You try being responsible for girl's lives while basing and putting your own life in danger while flying. No one understands how hard cheer really is. Also throwing, catching, being tight and still SMILING. Don't knock it until you've tried it, because it is indeed extremely difficult.

  • @LucyRobs9 you better believe we train hard. almost every day we do the same stuff people fall u know. and we get in the gym almost 11 hours 9-7

  • @0:28 she need to keep her head up and straighten her right knee... otherwise wow

  • @shadoDaishi

let me ask you something. Do football players get thrown 30-40ft. in the air and not be afraid..???? NO!!!! I betcha 1,000,000 dollars that you cant even jump on a trampoline without wanting to scream like a little baby.... AND IF CHEERLEADING WERE ANYEASIER IT WOULD BE CALLED FOOTBALL!!!!

    duhhhh thats using commmon sense

  • @MichelleC840CaylaE8 Lmfaooo If sleeping was any easier it'd be cheerleading

  • @TheSexualChocolat SURE!! ever tried it? It's the hardest sport ive ever done. and ive done a lot. I do all star competitive. if i were u id shout my mouth umm rite bout now. U have no i what ur talking about this is hard and i bet u couldnt even last one minute doing this sport so get a life and dnt hate just because u can't do what we do! this sport is my life and obvi. u dnt have any cause u sit round runnin ur mouth all day and O gtg. Gotta practice what i do best. MY LIFE!

  • @MichelleC840CaylaE8

football isnt easy dude and i dont mean that stupid sport you call football in america i mean like soccer

  • @MichelleC840CaylaE8 actually the saying is if cheerleading were easy it would be called football cuz if u say that if it was any easier then that mesans thatits easy and vbelieve me i have cheered on an allstar team for almost 10 years and it is anytrhing but easy

  • Dear all of the cheerleaders bitching about cheerleading,

If it's so hard and u hate it so much, STFU and quit instead of bitching and moaning about how hard it is and how much u hate it! Gosh!

  • Cheerleading isn't a sport because of the judging. Judging in cheerleading is COMPLETELY objective. Objective judging is found in gymnastics and figure skating, but there is a decent code-of-point saying where and why specific deductions were given, and for how much. Sure, you can say a drop is 1 point, but what one person may consider a drop, others consider an early cradle. Also, the fact that there are at least 25 "Nationals" doesn't help.

  • @freeBITCH0 thats why there is a worlds dumbass.

  • @freeBITCH0 sorry but I have to argue on that point... I've been a cheerleader for quite a while now, so I think I can explain your view. For any given competition (depending on the comp.) we have a designated Judge for any specific skill, let's say [ 1 judge for Tumbling, 1 judge for Stunts, 1 judge for Choreography, 1 Judge for Building Skills, ETC] (I say etc. because again, the number of Judges is depending on the comp.)

  • @Chiquill0 yes, I know, but that doesn't mean that the scoring isn't completely objective, or unclear..

  • yeahhh!!

  • And you say just because they risk spraining shit its a sport? The other day my friend pulled his groin getting into his car. My friend has sprained thier ankle falling down stairs. Why dont we make those sports? A true sport is the quality and intensity of thier performances and practices. NO 91 lb anorexic white bitch cheerleader would last a week at Football camp. Football players put in REDICULOUS amounts of work as apposed to cheerleading per practice they do. what? like 20 knee pushups?

  • @shadoDaishi

Shut up I'm a cheerleader and I have pulled muscles you have never probably heard of. I just recently was doing a routine in front of a crowd and seriously injured my hip in the middle of it, did that stop me from tumbling, stunting and doing our jumps. Oh no it didn't and it never will. And we aren't anorexic we just work to do what we want to do, lets see do football players throw someone in the air and catch them because their life depends on it, NO! You throw 15 lbs footballs!

  • Also cheerleading is the most dangerous sport in the united states and guess what he 9th is hmmm........ ITS FOOTBALL!!!!

  • CHEER LEADING IS NOT A SPORT PERIOD.

  • @Californiaxoxo6 What makes it NOT a sport? Please tell.

  • @Californiaxoxo6 How so????????

You use muscles for sports and what not and tubling is in this SPORT and us cheerleaders do tumbling in our routines!!!! THINK AGAIN!!!!

  • 0:42

her arm is supposed to be in front of her leg not behind it duhhh

  • agree with GodIsKindaGay...GolfIsKindaGAY

  • @LucyRobs9

Well said, very true! I sprained the lateral collateral ligament in my knee and still had to do a display in front of over 200 people. I think cheerleading is derived from gymnastics, so it is technically a sport, because it comes from gymnastics. Plus, gymnasts are a lot stronger and only have 2 bases in lifts, unless it's a four person or two person balance. We don't have 4 bases for one balance. Gymnast's are stronger and better, and don't have to shout stupidly.

  • all cheerleading is clapping shouting and being flexible

  • @Garritoification do double fulls fall into any of those catagories? no. does having the strength to lift a teamate hig in the air fall in any of those caztgories? no? have you ever been to an allstar cheerleading practice? no? then dont judge.

  • @RockstarCheer101 first of all im not a chick and i dont no what the hell a double full is and one person doesnt lift a teammmate its like 3 of the biggest girls and the smaller girls are on top any way

  • Uhm.

I sprained my wrist last week. Yet i'm still practicing FULL OUT with my team.

    Why?

    Because that's what you do.

    You have no choice.

  • @LucyRobs9 You're right. I sprained my ankle and I still had to go up there and do the EXACT thing that hurt me in the first place. I had to trust my bases with my life and go out, jump around, and act happy when all I felt was pain.

  • i agree that it is a sport (im in tumbling kinda the same technique) but u didnt really prove it

  • anyone who says cheerleading isnt a sport - i dare them to go through what we do, practices, competetions, and yes (if your a school cheerleader) even games. its so much more than what it used to be, and people still think of it as standing on the sidelines yelling "GO TEAM!!" - which is totally not true. OH, and btw, its going into the olympics, so its not a sport? OOOK.

  • @missoreoluver first of all, learn how to spell gumnastics. Second of all, know what you are talking about. Ive done both gumnastics and cheerleading. But are hard but in completely different ways. If you fall or mess up in gymnastics there's nobody there to catch you like in cheerleading

  • Out of the United States' 2.9 million female high school athletes, only 3% are cheerleaders, yet cheerleading accounts for 65% of all catastrophic injuries in girls' high school athletics. New evidence shows that the most dangerous sport for high school and college females is cheerleading: Another study found that between 1982 and 2007, there were 103 fatal, disabling or serious injuries recorded among female high school athletes and 67 were from cheerleading.

  • ok i no that cheerleading is a sport and do agree that it is hard but have you guys ever had to twirl rifes and REAL swords while ur in a split being cared around i think guard is way more dangerous because all of us on our middle school guard team can be thrown in the air but we use wooden rifles and 6 foot tall medal poles! plus me being in a guard off campus to i use a saber. witch i have cut my hands on plenty of times. yes cheerleading is a very hard and dangerous sport butguardisoredanger

  • @jojobean321 aree youu a cheerleader ? Guess not becus youu dnt knoee how muchh i hadd tew practicee thiss summer ndd cheerleadinn ihs a sport youu cahn geht hurt nn iht juhst likee any othaa sport , wehh practricee hardd tew wehn ! wehh dnt juhss goo onn dhaa sidelineess nd sayy goteam ! Wee cheer wee stunt ndd we tumblee , ndd sumtimess geht hurt , so geht factss right !

  • seriously, dont post powerpoints on youtube.

  • Ok so like Cherleading is a sport cus it's harder then jimnastucs and u have to go really high in the air and u hav a coach and stuff. In jimnastucs u don't hav to go on top of people and sumtimes u fall but u don't fall in jimnastucs.

  • @missoreoluvr Ok, i do cheer and gymnastics, im not trying to start a fight or anything either. Of course you fall in gymnastics! The difference is, in gymnastics you throw yourself up into the air, in cheerleading you have your base to throw you up! Trust me, gymnastics is really hard work (and cheer of course!)

  • @ClairesRandomVids

I agree with you. Im tired of the girls in my school telling me that cheering is harder than gymnastics. I dont believe that (not trying to pick a fight or anything) but when was the last time a cheerleader had to to giants, and germans, and tsukaharas, and flares? ID think cheerer's do that.

  • i'm a cheerleader and yes it is a sport and if its not explain to me why my team is out in the sun for 4 and a half hours all week for summer conditioning doing the same things the boys on football and baseball are doing only difference is there lifting weights and were lifting each other

  • I hate when people say cheerleading isnt a sport. NEWS FLASH ! ITS THE TOUGHEST SPORT OUT THERE. Guys that played football for my school that bench 300+ sayed its tougher than football. Its much more than running up and down a field/court. At competitions you see girls get carried out on stretchers all of the time.. its normal to me. Ive been cheering since i was 4 for all stars and im 18 now. Ive had broken arm(S), ankle(S), & have recently torn my ACL ALL FROM CHEER. If you disagree, try it :)

  • at 3:32 the flyers but is showing

  • Actually cheerleaders work 3 times as hard as the other sports so basically the other sports are not sports.

  • I agree Cheer-leading is a sport. The music is fine, but why make your point with these hideous lyrics? Have one of these white cheerleaders sing these lyrics in south central.

  • yeah I guess its a sport, seeing as how I did it this semester, main reason I did it = BANGIN GIRLS! ....im also the only person in my school who can do a standing full lol..

  • although im not a cheerleader, it is a sport, but only competitive cheerleading. they risk alot in this sport... and dancers do too. you get hurt ALOT in both of these sports.

  • well... if you dont believe cheerleading isnt a sport, go type cheer extreme allstars into that search bar ^ right now :) enjoy

  • @LucyRobs9 im a flyer, and i know from experience that if you wanna be great you gotta train just as hard as gymnasts, same goes for bases and tumblers. just sayin'

  • Never been a cheerleader, but i've watched cheerleading all my life, enough to say, that it is indeed one of the hardest SPORTS... for those of you who doubt this, go try some of the stunts yourself... lets see how you do them! :)

  • cheerleading is a sport i do cheerleading and love it i think anyonw who says it is not should try it frist! also i sometime get the piss tacken out of me for doing it and feel that the people who take the piss should get up and do what i do :)

  • @Kwimalo I actually was a gymnast but I didn't want to do it anymore because I found cheerleading. So I can do both. And plus cheerleaders have to do the same kind of tumbling as gymnasts.

  • I recognize cheerleading as a sport; it's just a second rate sport for girls who can't distinguish themselves in either gymnastics or dance, but still crrrraaaaveee attention. It's all about the crotch, just look at the video. Don't believe me? Imagine cheerleading in sweats. Who would watch?

  • @Kwimalo If we stunted in sweats we would fall. Because if the people holding us get their hands caught in the sweats it could be really dangerous falling. Plus it gets really hot wearing sweats when your working so hard.

  • @LucyRobs9 they're are not the only ones who go on hurt i have multiple injuries and still play sports i have even played in volleyball games with possibly broken fingers and sprained knees and ankles its not that big of a deal and if your gonna sit complain about cheer having such a possiblty of ending lives like so many others don't do it you choose the sport i think it is sport im just tried of hearing about all the dangers of it if its so dangerous mayb it shouldn't b around

  • I love cheering but this doesn't prove anything ya know u should show how nervous and hard it is

  • Duh cheerleading is a sport i am 17 and am a varsity captain,,,,, its pretty hard

  • who ever says cheerleading isn't a sport. well, they can lift twice their own weight, touch their toes backwards, do amazing flips, throw a 100 pound girl 20 feet in the air and catch her. and what are these other sports like football, all they do is run around a field with a half pound ball, which sometimes they don't even catch. i'd like to see a football player do what a cheerleader does.

  • It's just a bunch of pics of girls jumping around and a soundtrack talking about bitches and niggas. What am I supposed to respect about that?

  • cheer leading is not a sport... just wimpy gymnastics:)

  • @jojobean321 Go do that 'wimpy gymnastics' then say its not a sport.

  • @jojobean321 it is a sport if it werent ppl wouldnt want to do it to get more fit or lose some weight .

  • @jojobean321 and how long have u cheerleaded? probably never> ive been a cheerleader since forever AND a gymnast. so dont go doin that> what about golf, is golf a sport?

  • Cheerleading absolutely is a sport but this video is hardly the best evidence.

  • i love how golf is considered a sport when you swing a 2 pound bat thing and walk.. when cheer leading you hold 90-110 pound girls while keeping a smile and staying tight and while flipping your body upside down a numerous amount of times..

  • Definition of sport-an activity involving physical exertion and skill in which an individual or team competes against another or others for entertainment

    FITS CHEERLEADING FOR SURE!!!!!!!!

  • No its not!

  • @1798softball I played football, softball, and a ton of other sports... NOTHING is as hard as cheerleading. Cheerleaders aren't just girls wearing shirt skirts looking for attention. Cheerleaders are strong, independent woman. They are much stronger than people give them credit for.

    Love, a cheerleader.

  • @1798softball Exuse me, but cheerleading is probably one of the toughest SPORTS out there. If you don't believe me, search 2by2video. They go to toooons of competitions and even Worlds.

  • @1798softball then why are you watching this!

  • as if my user name dnt say enough lol

  • i'm a soccer player mostly but i used to baton twirl so i have a lot of respect for cheerleading and gymanstics b/c i've seen just as many ambulances at twirling competitions as i have at soccer tournaments

  • i hate when people say cheerleading isnt a sport and that its easy its like how can you say that when you havnt even tried it befor its alot harder then it looks!

  • people who cannot do cheerleading think its not a sport if they did cheerleading they would say its a sport because i know that for a fact i used to say it wasnt then i tried it out got into it and stuff and finally said IT IS A SPORT for all u out there who beleave its a sport give me a s give me a p give me a o give me a r give me a t what does it spell sport

  • its not a sport. dancing is not a sport. being annoying is not a sport. lololol

  • no its not :)

  • @narkoss7 they say golf is a sport..... but i KNOW cheerleading is a sport!

  • that is so true golf is considered a sport and they so less than cheerleaders! Okay at first i thought cheerleading was just shouting and you know with the pom poms until i actually started cheering. It is so hard alll the stunting and tumbling and jumps and yelling at the top of your lungs and smiling after running and jumping and all that!!!! its is such a tough sport! I run track and i do about 8 miles a day and cheerleading takes my breath away just as much as track.cheer is a sport!

  • Mmmmmmmmmm como se abren de bien las piernas!!! ;)

  • A most interesting and humorous fact is that most people don't consider Cheerleading a sport, yet the have no quarrels with calling Golf a sport. Go figure.

  • ya its a sport, but this video is pointless.

  • I wassss so mad when they said cheerleading wasnt a sport it is ur jumping around you swing ur arms. These dumb fucking people

  • ALL of you people who say Cheerleading isent a sport? really try to do scales, cartwheels, front hand springs, back handsprings, heel streach, back tuck and back bends perfectly.

  • @Gymnasticsguurl That stuff is all tru and so much more!! meople don't even know!!

  • @livsbuddypatty "cheerleading is in olympics, there is a team USA, so yes, there is a national meet..." Have talked DIRECTLY w/ head of the International Olympic Commity. "IT IS NOT IN THE OLYMPICS!! & is NOT in any way; in any form, being added soon. Cheer in USA does NOT have a TRUE National Championships. There are meets "called" nationals but they are NOT. ALL must do that ONE National Meet. ONE winner per level. Cheer has many national "Invitationals" and no "NATION WIDE" Championships

  • Comment removed

  • Cheer is DIFFICULT but so is Circus, dance, mountain cimbing etc. & these are NOT SPORTS. Not being a sport is NOT a diss! They're ATHLETES in an ATHLETIC "activity". Not sport cause cheer competitions do NOT logically select a winner. ALL rules must be same. Must have ONE National meet and ONE champion (per level). This does not YET exist in cheer in USA. Does in parts of UK I believe. Full Stunt sport w/World Wide rules is "Acrobatic Gymnastics" . NOT Artistic Gymnastic. two diff. sports

  • @coachgeo Um cheerleading is in the olympics, there is a team USA, so yes, there is a national meet. kthanks.

  • Comment removed

  • im a cheerleader and i understand why people say its not a sport but until u get knocked down get a soar mustle or breaking bones in stunting u think its easy but since the first day i did a cradle i knew cheerleading was not easy and it was dangerous and u had 2 be strong to do it

  • I agree COMPLETELY ..... so is dance, on dancing with the stars all the football players are complaining how much they are hurting and how hard dance is

  • okay, this is kind of dumb...i mean there were only like 3 good pictures in there. not really helping us. also, we're not all dumb whores. yea, some of them are, but some of us aren't. seriously, it's just a dumb stereotype.

  • DEFINITION OF SPORT: an athletic activity requiring skill or physical prowess and often of a competitive nature.

    1. cheerleading is an athletic activity.

    2. you DEFINITELY require skill, dedication, and determination.

    3. It's even in the name...COMPETITIVE CHEERLEADING.

  • I understand some school cheerleading some girls are not good at all and just say a few cheers ya thats not a sport but competitive cheerleading is a sport! Why?

I am a competitive cheerleader on an All-star team and dance and figure skate and dance and they are all sports! if chess is a sport so is cheerleading and I want to say to the lazy people that say that go do a simple roundoff back handspring with a toe touch and I will get back with u on that subject! ;) Like if ur happy cheering!

  • cheerleading is a fucking sport.

The people who say it isn't probally can't do gym, move, stunting because there fat pricks :D

  • only reason i come to these videos is to see the hot upskirts.

    P.S. Cheerleading isnt a sport

  • @bloodfly3 well that makes you a bastard. im sure cheerleaders dont appreciate dicks like you , you dont insult us by saying it isnt a sport when we dedicated several hours of our life every week to it! i even walk 4 miles to get to cheer then 4 miles back 3 times a week in the dark and cold! then you disrespect us by saying that about our 'skirts' im freaggin 13 for gods sake! wanna see up my skirt? errr no! because that would make you a pedophile too . you people make me gip.

  • @fluffycheertiger then 90% of guys in this world are pedo's.

  • @fluffycheertiger I'm sorry to be the one that breaks the news, but being attracted to a 13 year-old is not considered pedophilia. Age of consent is set way too high by some dogmatic, "morally correct" religious nuts. So most men secretly wants to see up your skirt, yes. All though 13 is sort of on the edge. Wait till you're 15, and I guarantee ya that men of all ages will want to fuck you. But worry not, they won't because our morally far fetched society won't allow them.

  • @fluffycheertiger ....err yes i do.

  • @fluffycheertiger actually yes please send me a picture

  • HOW DID U PUT A SONG WITH IT?

  • If throwing balls in the air is a sport then why isnt throwing a girl? Yelling and sideline cheering is not a sport. Stunting and dancing and tumbling is. You have to to it all today.Therefor it is a sport.

  • so... Isnt cheering, cheering for a sport. I don't understand. That's like playing golf at a basketball game.

  • sport: an active diversion requiring physical exertion and competion. play boisterously! its what a sport is. and cheerleading is a sport. if it wasnt a sport, why is it on ESPN? hummm?!!! thank u very much

  • nice! this is a good vid

  • This aint even good cheerleading try allstar cheerleading or competive..

  • Defintely a spectator sport!

  • Five stars! Everyone that says it's not a sport then join a cheer squad and then you'll say it's a sport! It's harder then football I know because I played football before

  • @ladywizard101 I didn't mean school cheering, I meant the cheerleaders for the NFL :)

  • Cheerleading is challenging, but there's tons of schools where the teams aren't good. They don't exercise and condition, so they're weak, can't tumble, and have shaky beginner stunts. They make cheerleading look reallyyyyy bad to other kids, especially to other athletes since other sports at school are hardcore conditioning 24/7. Unless every single school had a team that's really tough, there's no way everybody would look at it as a sport since so many teams are just... bad. Sad reality :(

  • "Professional" Cheerleading for football games and such, is not a sport, all they do is stand there and look cute. But THIS kind of cheer leading? The REAL kind? If you don't see how it's a sport something is wrong with you.
