Totally kills any emotion or significance of the Majin Vegeta v Goku fight and SSJ3 itself just comes out of no where in the worst way. IMO, the Cell Saga had the perfect dynamic for the rivalry - Goku and Vegeta switch off multiple times who's the strongest throughout the android/cell saga, each having their moment, and it ends with Goku stronger, but here Vegeta isn't an entire SSJ level behind.

If you count off the deaths of the villians, from the beginning of DBZ to the end, Vegeta actually killed more than the rest of the cast combined. I'm not saying that Goku's bad or anything, but going by villain deaths alone Vegeta beats Goku hands down.

nothing will beat the ending with gohan. it's like a legendary moment that made dbz for what it is. taking that out and replacing it with this will just destroy a big chunk of dbz by throwing all gohan's potential through frieza and saiyan saga out of the window.
man there was a few good ways to end the cell saga, vegeta killing here was a good one, if android 16 had the self destruct bomb and killed cell is another good one, but kid gohan was probably the best one to finish it there all good alternatives. Shame how they didn't end dbz after the cell games that would have been perfect but the producers kept wanting to make it so the creator had to keep making it, don't get me wrong buu was pretty cool but this should have been the end, and GT was awful.
@Im2pacsAlter Extending it with Buu saga was worth it for no other reason than to at least see SSJ3. The way GT handled SSJ4 was a complete disappointment though.

man there was a few good ways to end the cell saga, vegeta killing here was a good one, if android 16 had the self destruct bomb and killed cell is another good one, but kid gohan was probably the best one to finish it there all good alternatives. Shame how they didn't end dbz after the cell games that would have been perfect but the producers kept wanting to make it so the creator had to keep making it, don't get me wrong buu was pretty cool but this should have been the end, and GT was awful.

@Im2pacsAlter Extending it with Buu saga was worth it for no other reason than to at least see SSJ3. The way GT handled SSJ4 was a complete disappointment though.

Vegeta=ssj,ussj,Majin Vegeta,Ssj4.But in Japan he goes Ssj3 and so does Future Trunks in his time period and ssj4 and ssj 5 exist in Japan we only have ssj 4 I think it shuldv'e stopped at4 or 3.

That would have been really good for Vegeta's self esteem, I mean actually fighting an adversary worthy of his time. (19 he just messed around with when he killed.)
Because for sure Vegeta is one of the best fighters in the series but he doesn't get the chance to actually finish a number of fights.
