@MyMerlin1. Couldn't agree more! I grew up as a child watching the "Horror double bill" on the Telly every Saturday night, with my cocoa & toast. Great memories! I especially loved the Dracula movies starring Christopher Lee. They were my faves.
very interesting but what about 1/scum 2/long good friday 3/crying game... there's lots more films too.
i am trying to make my own trilogy of films... but we are at the very beginning and are uploading some trailer teasers... please tell me what you think. thanks
@afewbravemenfilms Crying Game was without doubt one of the worst films I've ever seen in my life. Terrible performances, stilted dialogue, 'seen it coming a mile off' surprise. I was sitting with someone who, as soon as the transvestite appeared said 'is that a bloke?'. Nearly as bad a Croupier, but not quite.
A few of my personal favourites...ALL REQUIRED VIEWING! I can't believe most of these weren't even fucking mentioned! 10. Monty Python and The Holy Grail (1974) 9. The History Boys (2006) 8. A Hard Day's Night (1964) 7. Scum (1979 Theatrical Version), Made In Britain (1982), The Firm (1988) - The Alan Clarke Films 6. Carry On Sergeant (1958) 5. The Knowledge (1979) 4. Quadrophenia (1979) 3. Man In The White Suit (1951) 2 .Human Traffic (1999) 1. In Celebration (1975)
Best British Movies in no particular order: Brassed off, Lockstock & two smoking Barrels, Snatch, Made in Britain, This is England, Football factory, Layer cake, Scum, Cas, Trainspotting, 28 days later
top ten British films? 1. Slumdog millionaire 2.Hot fuzz 3. Shaun of the dead 4. 28 days later 5.happy go lucky 6. East is east 7. this is england 8.Trainspotting 9. Love actually 10.Bridget jones diary
I totally agree, they showed garbage. There have been some great film s made in Britain. So what are the most 10 most watched British films, We have many classics and it's not this garbage.
Having conducted a thorough search of this archive, I was disappointed to learn that a film made in 1936 by my Great Uncle Earnest Plomb, entitled "Play Better Spoons -- the EPNS Remix" has apparently disappeared without trace. Plomb, an amateur film maker & virtuoso spoons player had been touring with the Alistair Scrinje Band, & the interest generated on this tour persuaded him to make this instructional film to help other players develop. He sadly died under an elephant & his work is lost.
so WHAT ARE THE TOP 10 FILMS ? i've been rick rolled
