If you're serious about wanting to live in Australia,I'd suggest 3 things:
1.Australia has a CHRONIC shortage of professionals eg in the medical profession. What do you do for a living? Yr line of work might be the very thing we need!
2.email the Australian Embassy in the USA and ask them for advice
3 Read Aussie emplyment web sites like seek dotcom & see if they have jobs you could apply for.
@keys201 Hi Brandon, I read your comments on becoming an Aussie. I'm sorry to say this mate, but the Australia of the Paul Hogan Show, no longer exists. As a kid I watched Hoges and we all had a laugh with him and at ourselves. Back then Australia was about caring for one another and not taking life too seriously. I think you'll find that Australia has become very much like your USA. It's every man for himself and PC thugs run the show. People are becoming paranoid and hostile, sound familiar?
@CBR11X right on the money mate. Most Aussies don't dare to even express how they feel about the loss of their culture. Those that do, usually thrown in a disclaimer first: "I mean, I'm not racist, but..."
Sheer Briiliance...who would of thought just twenty years after this was made we would no longer see performers of this calibre on TV. To be on TV these days you must need to have played a code of sport, or be a fucking cook, gardener, carpenter...or just a simple un talented fuckwit like Ben Dark.
Bring back the good ol days...it's time to go bullshit morons on TV.
Simon Townsend was a journalist famous for going to jail for refusing the draft in the '60s.He thought up the idea of "Simon Townend's Wonder World" as a current affair show for kids.He wasn't the most charimatic host, tho'.Hoges' impersonation is dead on.
The Paul Hogan show was superb. Today's world is so often sad, pathetic, regressive, SOFTCOCK & unable to laugh at itself/no self-parody.

Kings must have been one of the shortest running soaps on television anywhere in the world, the promo is in the last two seconds of the clip.

It's a safe bet this part didn't make it onto the DVD release on account of music clearance issues. :-(
