Am I the only one who feels sorry for Harvey Dent? I didn't even pay any attention to two face til I watched this movie now he's my favorite "villain" but I don't see him as a villain. <_< Just wanting revenge.
Harvey didn't have multiple personalities in TDK. When he was scarred he let his angry side show a bit...but not in the form of a different personality. If they did that it would have been a needless gimmick that wouldn't add to the story at all. Now, I would love to see Eckhart return as a multiple-personality Two-Face...but in a different series.
He's dead, and I honestly prefer it that way. If he was alive the emotional power of TDK's ending would be gone.

Though it won't happen, it would be great to see Two-Face as this entity that the Joker fights to release and Batman fights to contain, a being that would ultimately decide the fate of Gotham just by showing that he was still alive.

Two Face is alive. Look at his eye when Batman turns his head to show Dents good side. Its clearly focused not dialated as it would be if he were dead.

He also planned on having Joker for the third movie. The script is not infallible, so an alteration could occur at anytime, especially since the amount of doable villains is running very short.

Not to rain on your parade, but many of those villains you listed are ones that are impossible to do in Nolan's Batman series. Bane, Poison Ivy, Freeze, Man-Bat, Killer Croc; all these villains are impossible. They are far too unrealistic for this ultra-realistic series. Scarecrow, Joker and Two-Face were always realistic, among the Riddler, Penguin, Victor Zsaz, Hugo Strange and Catwoman as well. I'm suprised Nolan was able to do Ra's Al Ghul, simply disregarding his immortality in the comics.
So while there are some villains that could be portrayed, there are many others that are impossible based onthe limitations that the reality of Batman provides. It is unlikely that Mr. Freeze will ever appear in the series, despite how fine-tuned he would look in the CGI animations.
I would not mind seeing Penguin or Riddler, or even Selina Kyle so long she isn't in the same suit as in Batman Returns. However, killing Two-Face after establishing the character in one movie seems unfair.
Freeze may be a possibility for a future film, but for Nolan's series? Not a chance. If Nolan isn't planning on having Robin, Freeze is at the way back of the line.
Not exactly; it is just that both of them have the same chance, a low one, of being portrayed in Nolan's series because of the realism and his strive to keep out the campiness of Batman's previous adventures, which Robin and Mr. Freeze would probably bring.
Out of the villians you just mention the only i mentioned was Freeze even which fair point even though i would say screw realism to have him in there but, Bane easily. Just don't have it where he is using the venom but, just got strong which if you look at some of these bodybuilders they are extremely buff.
Nolan and Eckhart both say he's dead. However, they could be lying as a surprise for the next film. A good idea would be to have him in a coma from the fall, and then he could wake up

batman had to plan the moment perfectly to attack harvey while his eyes were on his coin. No matter what context, that coin always turns out to be two faces downfall...
What's great about this movie is that there are so many layers to it. After all the joker hype (well deserved) has died down, you can really see the tragic storyline of Two-Face and the great performance that Aaron Eckhart put off. This truly is a masterpiece among comic book movies. I can't wait to see how they'll top this.
