  • hausa songs are amazing always overcome me strongly

  • alright. so can someone tell me exactly why Hausa music and music from ethiopa somalia etc. sound exactly like indian music? are they using some kind of machine to make their voice sound like that?

  • @pleeeeep Same family. "Sahelian" they are all connected. You have the Chadic DNA and the Berber DNA I think the Chadic came first and can be found in India. My ggrand came from India and my DNA was close to Berbers. So some how both Chadic and Berber went West and East. I think they either mixed with each other or one came from the other.

  • I dont know why u guyz are barking all over the place, Take it or leave it, Hausawa and Fulani have all merged and become ONE In Northern Nigeria., In 25 years time, The wider West African region will be speaking HAUSA!!!....... Mark my words, and dont say u werent told.... LOL

Some Zarma and Songhai in Niger are already speaking Hausa already, Mali is Next, Then Cameroon and Chad, Guinea, Senegal and Gambia shall follow soon........ Why?? , Because We {Hausawa} are TOO AWESOME!!!! :D

  • thank you jabirkarofi video very good hausa

  • @ginpasmor

That Language is Hausa, It is an Afro-Asiatic language spoken in West Africa, and Northern Central Africa... By the Hausa and Fulani people. It is an official language in Nigeria and Niger republic.

  • these people must relate somalis, these color , attitude exactly like somali, their names like amina , clothes , some hausa originated from somali or somalis originated from hausa, somalis are black but lighter and not black like bantu majority are not lighter like ethiopian , i'm sure if is used DNA FROM HAUSA OR SOMALI SOME SOME OF THEM WILL BE SAME, even i read/listened hausa language I saw many somali words. really, if I can , i would go their language.

  • Hausa and Fulani/Fula/Fulfude/Peul are not the same Ethnic groups.

In Nigeria, some Fulani have grown to accept and become a part of wider Hausa culture{Fulani Gida}, while others havent, and still live by the traditional Fula ways of rearing cattle and seasonal migrations {Fulani Bororoje} .....So, overall some Fulanis have been ''Hausalized'', while others havent..

Outside of Nigeria, Thgey share only religion and Geography together. They are virtually different

  • Hausa are Afro-Asiatic speaker, wich mean Hausa language derived from ancient Asiatic language of Mid East just like Berber,Cushitic,Egyptian and Semitic languages originated.

It doesn't mean Hausa came direct from Mid East, instead their ancestor (those who brought Proto-Chadic language in Africa) did came from Mid East no later than 8000 ya.

Hausa was born in Africa, just like Tuareg,Somali,Coptic,Oromo,Ouldeme, but without doubt their ancestor somehow came to Africa from Mid East.

    Now U know!

  • I would say,the real number of the real Hausa is less than 30% of the total Hausa population. The other 70% are directly or indirectly Hausa infulences and colonies or subsidiaries Hausa for centuries.

I said these based to Hausa histories, for exp: Hausa Bakwai vs Banza Bakwai, wich mean 7 Hausa States vs Bastard or Bogus 7 states.

The closest cousins to Hausa are found in N. Nigeria,N.Cameroon,Niger, and Chad, such as Ouldeme,Warji,Biu-Mandarawa,Bolewa,Badawa,but Fulani are not one of them.

  • I travels around West African countries, and across all west African big cities,I saw Hausa quaters named Zongo= Hausa Town similar to ChinaTown.

All Zongos resident speak Hausa regardless of their original backgrounds.

If I said Hausa influances anyone around them,I mean anyone, even Tuareg and Arabs. It doesn't matter who you are,but next to Hausa men,you will turn to Hausa,if not you, your children or great children will turn to Hausa. That's is the secret of Hausa greatness.

    Now you know!

  • I am Indian and muslim and I feel so proud of my african brother and sisters here, simply because Islam helps us to keep things clean. The songs was so peaceful and beautifully sung. Keep the culture, it's what makes us beautiful and unique, Thanks.

  • i meant to say "but Fulani in other parts of Africa (outside of Nigeria) don't always speak Hausa"

    excuse the typo.

  • @goldenismonica The Hausa and the Fulani are two separate tribes I am aware of that. Regardless "Even if a person is Hausa or Fulani alone/unmixed they see each other as family." Outside Nigeria Its true ppl don't say Hausa-Fulani, but this is a Nigerian video, therefore it exist in Nigeria. "Especially for political reasons" only is an exaggeration there are other factors.

  • @sockslynee

thats fine that they seem themselves as family, but people should stop referring to the hausa and the fulani as one tribe, because it does cause confusion.

  • @goldenismonica I see your point.

  • Who are singing this song? Very nice!

  • nice song this people talk to me wat they says to me who are they iam from somalia iam mogadisho look those beautyfull faces look how they are beautyfull inside and outside, honest look girl please any one can explain wat they says to me yaalah i don't have any idea west africa people are massive vocal and music is this hausa nigeria girls are beautyfull any person can help to me please who are they this people?!!!!!!! alah aafiya aamiin

  • Please stop these argument

I know for a fact ( from history of the Hausa's that Fulani people came to Hausa land just to spread their religion( ie Usman Danfodio)) after that, the Hausa adapted most of the Islamic religions ways( as required by the Jihadis) they started live, marring and trading with one another.

But even at that hausa and Fulani remain two different tribes.....real hausa person ( no mix blood) does not even look anything like the Fulanis.....who look a little Arabic.

  • @avyarima

Fulani do not have a single drop of Arab blood in them my friend! They are indigenous to West Africa south of the Sahara. If u r looking for Arab mixed blacks then go to East Africa that is their region. Note that Usman dan Fodio was born in Hausa land and grew up to see hausa ppl practicing islam a thousand years b4 he was born. He only purified the practice of Islam in Hausa land via a social revolution widely supported by the opressed Hausa peasantry. HAUSA = FULANI in Nigeria.

  • @ssodangi hey calm down! who said they have Arab blood?.....not me.....i said "they Look a little like the Arabs"....so before you start fighting me, read my post again. Yes, i said something about Usman Dan Fadio....i didnt say me brought Islam in to hausa land i was trying to clearify why many people mix them.this stupid argument really got to stop! If anyone really want to know about the Hausa-fulani relationship google it! and please lets stop! we are all related one way or the other right?

  • @avyarima

Fulani never invaded Hausaland, they in fact settled in Hausaland.

Dan Fodio was born in Hausaland, raised in Hausaland, speak fluently Hausa language.

Dan Fodio's main goal is to declare Jihad against Animist Fulani who refused to accept Islam, but gradually turned againt Hausa Kings who are Muslim through bloodline.

Reasons:Hausa King double taxed Animist Fulani, and other Non Muslim Hausa.

When Fodio found out Hausa King are very corrupted,he then turned his Jihad against them.

  • @avyarima

Hausa adopted Islam long before Fulani did,and Usman Dan Fodio didn't came anywhere into Hausaland, infact,Usman Dan Fodio was born in Hausaland, raised in Hausaland, studied Islam in Hausaland before hijacked power from one of Hausa Ruler.

And 70% of Usman dan Fodio Jihadiths are Hausa,20% are Fulanis,10% others.

Dan Fodio history to power is similar to Barack Obama, except Obama was elected, and Dan Fodio hijacked .

Hausa are far smarter than Fulani, and far civilized than Fulanis.

  • @avyarima

Fulani never created a civilization, never ruled any land of their own, never had any architecture of their own.

Fulani are agressive Nomads, and they must be agressive in order to protect their cattle.

While Hausa are skillful clever traders for Centuries.

Hausa would rather do business with his enemy than engaging in war.

Hausa are known to be traders, and they can easily infuance anyone, anywhere.

Hausa didn't learn anything from Fulani, instead Fulani adopted Hausa cultures.

  • @BeitilNabawiya

Fulani were never nor are ever agressive! They are very peaceful, easygoing and wonderful ppl. They are a group of African people that fell in love with the Hausa, another group of wonderful African people to synergise and create a wonderful an brand new society out of the otherwise already decaying Hausa society.

Without the Fulani Hausa would be nothing today and vice versa!! If u r a non Nigerian Hausa I advise u to respect our wish of being one and stop the misinfo.

  • @ssodangi

    Who said that?

What Fulani ever done in Hausa societies?,you said without Fulani Hausa are nothing today?

How dare are you?.Does Hausa histories started in 1800 centuries?

What about 1000 years lenghts on Hausa histories, what about 18 successives Hausa Queens Rulers?.

Does Fulani participated in the birth of Hausa states?,does Fualani brought Islam into Hausaland?

Name one Fulani state in Africa, name one Fulani Land in Africa, name one Fulani civilization in Africa.

    Please.!

  • @BeitilNabawiya

You cant deny the fact that the dan Fodio led revolution did revitalized the Hausa and readied them for more greatness they otherwise couldn't have achieved with their disunited city states!! BTW this video is Hausa/Fulani and not Hausa alone. I therefore would expect you to show us some respect.

  • @ssodangi

    Are you Hausa?

If not, then you cannot tell me how great Hausa are.

Hausa are great not because of Dan Fodio Jihadth, but great by number, great by culture, great by language.

Islam didn't boost Hausa advancement, but backwarded Hausa progress.

Exp: Hausa are known to be very claver traders, routed from Sahel to North/West,Central Africa, and highly advanced in crafting works,Iron works,Leather..etc,but now after Islam,Hausa are known now as street beggars.

    What do you have?

  • @BeitilNabawiya

Wow! Now your colors are showing! I'm done with u and good riddance to bad rubbish!! My sincere appreciation to whoever was the reigning Hausa king that banished your forefathers to Sudan! Hausa society has moved forward since you have been gone, thanks to Usmanu dan Fodio's 1804 revolution in Hausa land.

  • @ssodangi

Please ,tell me where did Hausa language borrowed Fulani ?

Why all 2.5 millions Nigerian Fulani speak Hausa instead of Fulfulde?

Of course Hausa borrowed Arabic language, but shared the same Genetic with Arabic and other Afro-Asiatic.To let you know that the English language you are speaking is 40% French-Latin,40% Germanic and others. You need to understand this,Fulani are Sene-Gambian,and share nothing in common with Hausa.

If you are fulani, then go back to Futa-Jalo.

  • @ssodangi

Stop speaking Hausa language, and pls change your username into Fulani language, and go back to Futa-Jalo.

Fulani are distinct tribe from Hausa, genetically, linguistically different peoples.Don't confuse yourself.

In Niger,Fulani are Fulani, and Hausa are Hausa, and we know nothing about Hausa-Fulani.

Fulani language and DNA belonged to Niger-Congo family, while Hausa language,DNA belonged to Afro-Asiatic family.

If you don't speak Fulani as first language, then you are not fulani.

  • @BeitilNabawiya

U see...? That's why u dont understand! U are not Nigerian and only us nigerians understand this phenomena. My username is a hardcore Fulani concept couched in Hausa language, it is fifty-fifty; just the Hausa/Fulani u have been hitting against! U thought it is Hausa? It is Hausa Fulani and only born by hausa/Fulani in Nigeria!

  • @ssodangi

Hey,I know Hausa and Fulani are friendly ethnic groups in Africa, and all protecting each others interest, and I love the way they merged in Nigeria just to control Nigerians.

But I found it hard to accept the name Hausa-Fulani,I really hate that name, cause Fulani should be called Fulani and Hausa should be called Hausa, that's my point, cause Nigerian Fulani lost their name to Hausa.

You can call Nigerians Hausa-Fulani,but don't apply that name to other Hausa or Fulani outside Nigeria

  • @BeitilNabawiya

Yah, I have no problem with that besides we have the largest Fulani population than all West African Fulani put together but then why won't the the majority carry the vote! All Hausa and all Fulani should not hate the name Hausa/Fulani because that will amount to self hate!!! Got it???!!!

  • @ssodangi

There is nothing like Hausa-Fulani,btw this video is 100% Hausa, the Language, dresses are all Hausa.

To be Fulani is to speak Fulani language, and have cattle, live in bush, otherwise, there is nothing else that can make you Fulani beside that.

Expl: 54% of Niger population are Hausa, and 9% are Fulani, but no one ever called them Hausa-Fulani.

The name Hausa-Fulani was coined to northern Nigerians by Yoruba and Igbo of southern Nigeria,it's irelevant name and must be stoped.

  • @BeitilNabawiya

The Hausa language as we speak it in Nigeria today is full of Arabic and Fulani words. In fact over 70% of all West African Fulani are Nigerians and live in Hausa land.

What would u call a person whose both parents are themselves mixed for hundreds of years...Hausa or Fulani? And who told u numbers make a people great???...Britain could not have ruled the world at a time the english barely numbered 10 million in population.

  • @ssodangi

70% of West African Fulani are Nigerian?..lol

Where did you get that from?

Guinea is the only country with largest population of Fulani, over 4 millions of Guineans are Fulani, and Nigeria is the second with 2.8 millions, all other west African counties hosted minor population of Fulani.

You don't get it ,do you? ,look there are 13 millions total Fulani population in Africa, and Guinea is the only country where Fulani population reached almost 50% of the total population.

  • @roidujour

Hahaha....13 million total Fulani in Africa...2.8 million Fulani in Nigeria? where did u get that from? Today total Hausa population is listed as a mere 24 million whereas they are over fifty million! In Nigeria alone we have close 7 million cow Fulani that live in the bush and more than 10 million fully integrated with the Hausa.

  • and lastly....i do not consider every northerner to be a hausa.

i know of the Kanuri in Northeastern Nigeria. there is also the Gwari, Nupe, Tiv and some of the other smaller tribes in Plateau state.

its also very sad that you assume I'm ignorant about northern Nigeria simply because I'm not from the northern part of Nigeria.

  • This song can get into your head even though I don't speak Hausa and I understand a few words but I need translation

Can some help a Yoruba girl

  • gorgous

  • اللهم احفظ بنات المسلمين فى نيجيريا وفى كا العالم.اللهم احفظ الهوسا

  • very good

  • والله هذه الاغنيه جميله جداً وليقدام يا هوسا

  • These are beautiful people. They look like the Fullah people in Guinea and Sierra Leone. Nice song. Thanks...

  • The girl in orange and the one in the purple & white are gorgeous!

  • Does anyone know where to obtain hausa movies? Apparently Hauwa Alhassan has moved--I miss Hauwa and Yusuf.

  • Just a beautiful piece of music and nice looking chicks.

  • sounds like some indian or paki music. must they add that funny thing over their voices all the time?

    nice song tho.

  • @goldenismonica They auto tune it far more than necessary. Otherwise they sing well.

  • plz inbox me ur facebook name, thanks.

  • Thanks for uploading Matar Aurena. Nice song and lyrics. Can be shown anywhere unlike other ones potraying bad cultural affiliations. Please let's remain Muslims and Hausa/Fulani at the same time.

  • Yeah we'll make sure we continue broadcasting the good of our culture, thanks

  • @andazanian I agree with you 100% my brother! Call me Hausa or call me Fulani, or Hausa Fulani. It is all the same.

  • @ZakariB

hausa-fulani is not exactly "all the same"

maybe the hausa and fulani IN NIGERIA have meshed pretty well...but that doesnt mean hausa and fulani in ALL REGIONS have become "hausa fulani"

scratch that....not even the hausa and fulani have meshed together...they have mainly just joined POLITICALLY so they can control the rest of Nigeria. but thats another story for another day.

to me, hausa are hausa and fulani are fulani. unless you are a mixed breed, and that too, is another story.

  • @goldenismonica I am a Hausa and a Fulani and I should be telling you what a Hausa is--not you telling me. Some of you have told my mosque that I am not a Hausa and that I am an Ethiopean pretending to be Hausa--just shows how much you know about Hausa. Those on the video are just like me. I know you consider every Northern tribe as Hausa--just shows how much you know about us. Please let us aim at unifying our great country. Stop lying about us.

  • @ZakariB

please shut the fuck up and stay on topic. I didn't mention anything about Ethiopians neither did i say all northerners were hausa. fool.

its YOU that is jumping to conclusions, not me.

lets get this straight. just because you are hausa does not make you a hausa-fulani. there is really no such thing as hausa-fulani. the hausa and fulani in Nigeria have come together to call themselves "hausa-fulani" for political reasons, and we all know that.

  • @goldenismonica I live by a higher standard. I do not knowingly communicate with figures like you--baseborn, dishonorable, and distasteful. slither back into the hole from which you crept out. Adios scoundrel!!!!!!!!

  • @ZakariB

you're just upset because you don't know how to argue back and you know im right.

instead of proving me wrong, you throw insults! hahahaha, soooooo lame.

outside of Nigeria, you dont hear anyone that is hausa or anyone that is fulani calling themselves hausa-fulani because it doesnt exist! it was this crap stirred up by the hausas and fulanis in Nigeria for political reasons. EVERYONE KNOWS THAT! so maybe you should come out of your hole instead of whining like a child.

  • @goldenismonica I call myself Hausa - Fulani, because I'm mixed and so are alot of northers. There is nothing wrong with acknowledging both sides. The two cultures, people have merged. Even if a person is Hausa or Fulani alone they see each other as family.

  • @sockslynee

i will not have this argument again.

the hausa and the fulani are two seperate tribes. the hausa and fulani IN NIGERIA have mixed pretty well (not even all of them) but there are many Fulani that speak Hausa, even without having any Hausa blood. after all, they are a nomadic group in which some of them have settled northern Nigeria, so why wouldnt they?

but Fulani in other parts of Africa (outside of Nigeria) dont always speak Fulani (cont)

  • @sockslynee

(cont) thats exactly why i say hausa and fulani are not the same, and you can only call yourself a hausa-fulani if you are PHYSICALLY mixed with the two.

the late President Yar'Adua and his family are Fulani but they speak Hausa.

    you see what i mean?

but OUTSIDE OF NIGERIA, you DONT hear people referring to themselves as Hausa-Fulani because it just doesnt exist.

the hausa and fulani in Nigeria are together especially for political reasons.

ive said this before, so thats it.

  • @ZakariB

you can be hausa-fulani if your parents are each one or the other...or if your parents are both mixed with hausa and fulani. thats the only REAL way you can be a hausa-fulani.

outside of Nigeria...you wouldnt hear people calling themselves hausa-fulani BECAUSE IT DOESN'T EXIST. Fulani and Hausa are their own seperate tribes, and we all know that.

  • @goldenismonica : u miss it n you will never get it, ur crab n ignorance.

  • @abbatiboy pleeeeeeeeeeeease SHUT UP!!!!!

  • im in england

  • and in Nigeria now But i'll soon leave, so how's it going to be??

  • waka tayi dadi

  • wow i love this song kudos to mahmud nagudu and tanx for uploading it but could you please upload the full movie if posible?

  • u knw its not easy, bt where do u stay? so dat to see if possible i'll send u d full movies, thanks for commenting and and everything...
