@maj7510 Probably we have a bit different Novruz customs here in Azerbaijan. Charshanba days are very essential for us cause they symbolize awakening of four elements of life mentioned before. I think that Greek mythology has a lot taken from Iranian and Indian mythologies. So may be the four elements are not "know-how" of Aristotle but a heritage of older religion, even older that Zoroastrianism. Being celebrated in a dozen of countries Novruz is a unique holiday I wud say.

So, we can not count on them surely. But, you should agree with me that Azarbaijan is the origin of Zartosht. And you know, one of the oldest Atashkade that burning for thousands of year are in Baku. There is another in Miandoab (Takhte Soleiman). But, I found some Panturks claim that Zartosht was Turk. I can not believe it.

@TheAzeri1977 You know, the problem with history is that when Arabs invaded Iran, they destroy everything and burned all books. So, Europeans wrote all our history. So, we can not count on them surely. But, you should agree with me that Azarbaijan is the origin of Zartosht. And you know, one of the oldest Atashkade that burning for thousands of year are in Baku. There is another in Miandoab (Takhte Soleiman). But, I found some Panturks claim that Zartosht was Turk. I do not believe it.

In my city there are Persians, Turks and Kurds live together with No problem, I said No, because it is real. I have not seen any conflict between those people in my life. @RashidXXL I think that you are not an Iranian Azari or what you call it Iranian Turks. For your information, All people in Azarbaijan, Even in The Country with the name of Azarbaijan, Celebrate Norooz and Char-shanbe Soori. You Know, Norooz comes from Zartosht. And Zartosht is from Azerbaijan. However, Zartosht is the Arian Prophet. So, What do you from culture? I think there is not much difference between Tabriz with Shiraz culturally. You can feel it if you live in both city.

The fact that Avesta was in avestan language ( or old East Iranian Language) does not imply that Zarathustra was Persian like the fact that oldest bibles were in old Greek does not imply that Jesus Christ was Hellenic. Even if Zarathustra was Persian it does not mean that all Zaroastrans are persian and all muslims are arabs 2. We, Azerbaijani Turks celebrate Novruz as well as 4 last Charshanba ( which mean Fire, Whater, Land, Wind ) but we also celebrate Ramadan are we Arabs then ?

@TheAzeri1977 Hi, of course I would like to chat with you if you want...My ancestors were from Tabriz and Kaleybar but they moved to Ganja where my great grandfather was born ( famous with great Nizami and Javadkhan) and I leave and work in capital Baku now.

@RashidXXL I agree with all what you said. However, "Fire, Water, Land and wind" comes from Arastoo philosophy and I think we get it from Greeks, and there is no connection between those elements with 4shanbe-soori. Anyway, I want to say that there is no relationship between language and gene. I think that is the problems Pan_Turks can not solve it. Most if Azeris speak Turkish language. But, are they the same as Ozbaks, Kazaghs, or even those living in Istanbul? I do not think so.

@maj7510 Probably we have a bit different Novruz customs here in Azerbaijan. Charshanba days are very essential for us cause they symbolize awakening of four elements of life mentioned before. I think that Greek mythology has a lot taken from Iranian and Indian mythologies. So may be the four elements are not "know-how" of Aristotle but a heritage of older religion, even older that Zoroastrianism. Being celebrated in a dozen of countries Novruz is a unique holiday I wud say.

@RashidXXL I agree with you. Maybe I should read more about what we said before. However, about 4Shanbe-Soori, you know that these years as the government have been against this ceremony, it is like a real fight between youth and police in Iran and we lose many of its traditions like Ghashogh-zani and ... Anyway, I am so happy when discussing such a topic with you. I wish that more people like you being existed in both countries. Then we can make stronger brotherhood between us.

@maj7510 Kurd, Persians, Afghans, Tajiks and even Ossetians they all are Iranian people but not same also. Turks leaving in inner Anatolia are very similar to Turks leaving in Azerbaijan. And genetics has nothing to do here. Sentiments are very important and we can never ignore them. I feel proud of being turk but being iranian means nothing for me, I am sorry but I really don't feel any liaison with Cyrus or whoever Persian. We Azerbaijanis are a melting pot but still a Turkish pot not Iranian

@RashidXXL Moreover, You know that Shia bring by Shah Ismaeel and he came from Ardebil. I can not understand you that you not care about Iran, as you know before Pahlavi, for about 1000 years Turks govern Iran and all are proud to be Iranians and Iranians live together with peace and we have no any conflicts. Just between Shia and Sunni there was a conflict in Safavid era. About Pahlavi, they are also dictators. That is why revolution in 1978. So, what did Persians do that you do not like them?

Well, I only want people of Iran to be happy. Turks in Iran to be happy and all others to be happy. In that case my country will only gain, I am pretty much sure of that.

@RashidXXL Thanks for your good wishes. Although you are originally from Tabriz, but anyway, we (people in Iran and Azarbaijan) are brothers and have lots of commons in history and culture. So, we should help each other and I hope that some days, in case we have a good democracy ( I do wish), we can make such a union like what Europeans have. Then we can much more easily take trip to the other countries and enjoy from being together and celebrate ceremonies like Norooz together.

@maj7510 EU is an amazing project, in spite of all this criticism toward Euro currency and etc., It made Europe much more interesting place than it used to be. So hopefully we will first save lake Urmiya, then make our governments enough democratic. And voila we have our own union of free, rich and happy people

Can we see the lake with such an amazing scenery again???? I hope so. If we do some urgent actions. Let 's see. I wish the government can act more wisely.

@RashidXXL , my brother we wish same for the beautifull people of azerbyjan , i have same feeling for entire azerbyjan . two bodys are a part but hearts are together . no one or no empire can break us apart we must start educating our people , There is huge persian propaganda mechine out there ( some low life fucking fars chauvenists) .they are going to do anything and every thing to mis guides us.

@maj7510 And also, I don't really hate Persians, even don't hate any nation. Just don't wanna my people to suffer, if they are ok with persian education then I am fine but if they want education on our own language why should they be hunted, imprisoned, tortured and killed for that. This is not fare. You know due to hostile Iranian policy against Azerbaijan Republic I want to moved out of Shia, and many people here do like me. They switch to Hanafi.

@RashidXXL At first, do you think Iranian people are the same as the government and persians have more right than others in Iran and what do they make for the country of Azerbaijan has nothing to do with people. The Islamic government acts based on Islam orders and you know they also hate Persian heritages. You can feel it all over the country. So, if you do not like Islam regime, you should not hate Iranian peoples. Although you say that you do not hate Persians.
