@irishdancerashleigh My way is to trace a light triangle from the "corners" of the eyes to the most flaring our part of each nostril, and then judge the lip corners relative to that shape. With practice you'll know when its right :) Also you can try imagining your hand and pen is actually on the outline "out there" and imagine a wire connected to your drawing hand and see if that helps. trust your intuition when you've done well.

K, first of all, that was A masterpiece. I have been looking for Ems drawings and that one is really good. I know it, because I can paint quite good as well. But it takes around 6-10 hours of work... It sucks, yeah, but it is almost as good as yours ;) btw, have you studied or is it just self-learning?

check out a book called drawing on the right side of the brain and u can learn how to do portraits. I am graphic design student i will eventually have to do some myself. it takes practice and time. I've been drawing for 18 years and i still cant do it well
