  • y shouldnt i get the fx8150

  • @shoman621 it sucks

  • i like my Fx 8120 for this money its great

  • lol my 1090t a 3.7ghz gets 10'000 more on vantage and only runs at 40c :S glad i didnt change now

  • "I'm not going to talk to you about all the ins and outs of a dog's bum"

    Well, I should hope not...

  • Tom, you look orange.

  • Ivy Bridge = 15 new sockets /facepalm

  • @vBDKv Ivy Bridge will use the same 1155 socket as Intel has repeated thousands of times by now. And if they do create a new socket, that just be plain stupid from a business/marketing/loyalty point, something Intel's been good at for a while now.

  • with all due respect, all you say is intel is faster than amd and amd didn't come up with a great product that satisfied your expectations but is it worth to buy intel cpu that are 5 times more expensive than amd just for being 3 seconds or so faster? or about the frames. I mean is that so visible a few frames more per second?

  • @mericgencturk He does have a couple of points.Bulldozer is the last of the AM3+ socket, basically leaving people with no upgrade paths. Bulldozers power consumption and heat outputs are worse than AMD's own phenom 2 X6's (which are much better cpu's imo) and except for select heavily threaded cases, most phenom 2 X6's and Intel core i5/7 of similar prices beat the AMD's in terms of performance, heat output, power consumption, overclockability and future upgrade paths.

  • @mericgencturk By all means, if you need a cpu for something that is heavily threaded, you may want to go with the top of the line bulldozer, but for anything else, I can recommend anything from the fx series. The Phenom 2's and the new APU's are much better if you are looking to get something on the amd side.

  • If we put aside the benchmark scores, in real life would the difference be so visible between amd8150 and intel i7. I'm not even asking the i5. if I go with intel cpu the mobos are much more expensive and I can't afford i7 -it's 5 times more expensive than amd in my country and I dont wanna buy 1155 soket mobo just for i5. which people say it's similar to 8150 and intel mobos are more expensive.

  • @mericgencturk Intel is overpriced, if you are knowledgeable with overlcokcing you can easily match or surpass the performance of the i5 series with a Phenom x6 processor. I have a 1055t @ 4GHZ and in every benchmark I score significantly better the i5 2500k and in some cases match the 2600k! Also it is awesome for gaming, you will notice a major increase in FPS, keep in mind that although the i5 excels in gaming the AMD phenom x6 series or FX 8150 will have little more bottleneck on FPS!

  • its funny everyone dogs on AMD bulldozer but i have an AMD FX6100 and 1 does not bottleneck my 2 6870's and i render videos faster than a 2500k....

  • @AoDMADPenny True, people are obsessed with synthetic benchmarks, but if you've never personally used a Phenom x6 or FX series processor you don't truly understand its potential. They are excellent processors with great overclocking potential, on water cooling my 1055t runs @ 4ghz and It blows away the i5 2500k and even matches the 2600k in some cases and I only payed 150 bucks!

  • @romefox Oh i know... dude the sad thing is that 3/4 of all benchmarks are geared towards making intel better and not for multi cores... the 6100 is an amazing processor... i max out bf3 while rendering an hd video and streaming music from youtube.. ide like to see an i5 do that or even an i7...

  • @AoDMADPenny Hopefully Windows 8 will rectify this issue, they have already announced that Core Parking feature will better utilize the module's on AMD processors and therefore will perform better overall. Perhaps then the true potential of the FX series will show!

  • amd just has too much going on, they need to focus on fewer products.

  • AMD better gets things straight with piledriver. I'm really not looking forward to intel having a monopoly with crazy prices.

  • glorified pentium 4

  • @TimeToLiveCustoms I have a AMD 1090T and I'm thinking of changing to Intel when the Ivy bridge comes out. Would it be worth it buying new chip, mobo and ram or should i stay

  • @nani1962 stay with amd. plus amd is releasing several new series soon. way before intel

  • maybe amd is sand bagging on intel to get the jump next time around

  • @3949zxcvbnm They could be that would be a very dickish thing to do to people who buy them.

  • While I love AMD and have used them for over 15 years, my next cpu will be intel.

  • @vBDKv Yeah same, I've been with AMD since ever. Watching the intel i7 3820 cpu review next and compare it to this one.

  • where do you need 8 cores? to run 8 battlefield at same time?

  • Deserves a bronze just for being the first 8 core gpu on the market at that price.

Looking forward to the new Intels coming this year.

  • phenom x4 or 2600k? or does it really matter?

  • @Kryonproductions bro, it depends on what you're doing. x4 is all you need for gaming, but if you're like me who does video edition, animation etc, that's why i got a 2500k. but just for gaming, use that 150$ extra and get a better gpu...

  • What's your personal opinion, Tom?

Is this CPU as much of a piece of shit as everybody seems to think?

  • worth waiting for IB ?? i have the cash now to get a new rig

  • how does upgrade cpu work?? as he said intel 2500k can be upgrade to 2600k is that mean buying new 2600k or otherway to change 2500k to 2600k with some money??

  • they're not sending you shit anymore LOL

  • Comment removed

  • Im considering getting the 8-Core Zambezi or the Intel i7 2700k what would be better for gaming/video editing?

  • @DnSMultimedia intel :)

  • @TimeToLiveCustoms Ofc intel. As always.

  • @DnSMultimedia the 8 core

  • @DnSMultimedia Nah get the 8 core. People were criticizing it because it wouldn't support any games (when it was first released). Since AMD updated the FX, it now supports windows.

  • Id go with the 3820

  • dont know why my amd fx 8150 got 2.8GHz ???

  • I bought the AMD FX 6100. Your review was spot on. This was my first AMD desktop.

  • 6100 looks to be decent for the price seems to be once you hit 8150 is where the price range isn't very good

  • Might I just mention, Tom said no AMDs have kept RAM stable above 1600MHz. I beg to differ on this point. My Phenom II 965 did keep my 1866 Dominator GTs quite happy at rated clock and timings. It did manage to go up to about 1920ish MHz. Unfortunately, it's too old, so now I have a 2500K keeping the memory happy... shame the Crosshair IV had to go :(

  • Seems LucidLogix Hydra & the Gecko Art-X team left to blame but LucidLogix Hydra Chips off the market, or bought out of Imagination Technologies or Tilera X and never existed! GeckoDude2010 seems off of you tube disappearing Like Confucious with the Giant Bazzar Satchel Bag leaving from those Kid Cartoon Books from Encylopedia Britannica!

  • For Starters Not Sure Why No GPU with AMD Orochi-Bulldozer Fusion? Seems that LucidLogix Hydra Can be Fusioned in there makes sense, but Can Control Bios of both Nvidia & ATI run them in SLI! Which Manufacturer Of Card gets blamed for hacking! Seems the ATI 4890 GHZ is sold online from Seattle Washington, ATI 5770 seems Cypress R&D! No ATI with Dell-Alienware 2012! Only team left to blame is ART-X and the Gecko Proccessor with Gecko working for Geico Direct not Tiger Direct with SIS Xabre!

  • @robbewuzhere And that's why the fastest single GPU on the planet atm is a 7970.....

  • Is it windows 7 or something ?

  • This is actually not a bad processor at all. Was just looking at the benches at Anandtech and although it's a mixed bag, it trounced the 2600k in 7-zip and equaled it in PAR2.This architecture is obviously forward thinking and it will be interesting to see what AMD has up it's sleeves. For gaming? you can do better with the 2500k but your still not suffering if you go with this chip. For these reasons, I'm sticking with the underdog and would buy this thing in a heartbeat.

  • Uhm im new with these stuff...so heres a serious quick question...Im gonna buy a new cpu..But don know wich one..Which one is better..AMD phenom II x4 Or the Amd FX

  • is it just 1 4 core and 1 4 virtual core than if so than its not a real 8 core am i wrong

  • I completely disagree with him on the bulldozer architecture being from swapped phenom parts and throwing in extra cores. Bulldozer architecture is made to work with a GPU thats why it only has one FPU per module. You have to understand AMD future plans for this architecture to understand what its for and why they did it. This architecture is better used as an APU like Llano than it does just a CPU. AMD has completely different plans than Intel and thats what you have to understand.

  • Intel is more of a straight cpu power house dedicated company whereas AMD is more of a ambitextrious company where they use GPU performance and efficiency. If you are looking for a highend gaming system then Intel is the way to go. But with AMD heading towards their HSA (Heterogeneous System Architecture) on SOC (system on a chip) they are looking to integrate a lot more onto their chips to produce more efficient powerful chips including CPU, GPU, 3rd party IP, RAM.

  • You have to understand AMD future plans to understand why they went with this architecture. AMD is not out to have the most powerful CPU. They want to integrate CPU and GPU to work together along with IP's to have more efficient and powerful chips. Intel is based more around having straight CPU power. As you may know Intel's iGPU is garbage compared to AMD's. AMD has amazing graphics power compared to Intel and they know this and they are taking advantage of it.

  • Bulldozer is a great processor to overclock. I have a 8120 at 5.1GHz and it is way better than my previous PII x4 965 at 4.2GHz but if you are thinking about upgrading, I would wait until the 2nd generation bulldozer. For being a completely new 1st generation architecture it is a great cpu. Though single core performance is less than phenom II, you have to understand AMD future plans to understand why they chose this new architecture.

  • @mikezachlowe2004 yes but i was wondering about switching from 4 core phenom II to 4 core bulldozer (4100 series) not an 8 core dont have the money for it.

  • @Kantrishikrar Then no, it will not be an upgrade. Your phenom will perform better than a 4 core FX chip. Stick with the phenom. Phenom is still a great chip. If you are looking to upgrade I would wait until PileDriver and see how the results are. There should be some decent gains once they optimize the architecture. It is a first gen chip and kinks need to be worked out. Stick with the phenom. Though I would recommend looking into trinity once its released next month.

  • @mikezachlowe2004 sorry , im new to the electronic world :) but is the infinity an AMD cpu ? and if so do you have any details on it yet ?

  • @WeEdit110 Well AMD has eyefinity which is a display technology that allows use of multiple monitors to be used as one single large display. Then their is AMD Trinity APU which will be released next month. It is an accelerated processing unit that has both CPU and GPU on the same chip. Trinity will range from 17 Watt TDP to 100 Watt TDP. A10-5800K will be the highest end quad core trinity at 3.8Ghz core clock and 4.2ghz turbo with 384 GCN Radeon cores. Should turn out really nice

  • ok quick question....in your opinion, would it be worth my time (and money) to upgrade from my phenom II x4 to the FX-series x4 series cpu's? yes/no, why/why not? cant be bothered to go to x6 or x8 dont have the money lmao.

  • @Kantrishikrar dont waste your money. /end.

  • @Kantrishikrar I have a 8120 at 5.1GHz i upgraded from a PII x4 965 at 4.2Ghz and it is way better. Though I would recommend for you to wait for the 2nd gen bulldozer, the zambezi's are good processors for being a first generation.

  • @Kantrishikrar stay with the phenom, phenom out performs the fx because the designed is

leaned for heavy multitasking and phenom is enhanced for games

  • I wouldn't bother

  • @Kantrishikrar Get the Phenom x6, they overclock incredibly well and perform better then the FX series and if you overclock properly it will also outperform the i5 2500k

  • Odd question here. Where do you get your Desk from? Thanks :)

  • i have heard that bulldozer is better than i7 when you run several programs (please test)

    sorry for bad english :P

  • @sjatar1 No the 2500k is still better, the 2600k is much better

  • @sjatar1 you heard wrong.

  • well i guess that it is not good enough for gaming but what schocked me the most was its terible performance with cinebench 11.5 an wich is older that bulldozer is more powerfull than bull dozer. also it is within the marge of error faster than the phenom 2x4. hopefully amd maxes the piledriver series better than bulldozer. speking of cpus is amd going to release some this year?

  • You get the feeling they rushed these out with pretty much the server cpu........fingers crossed the piledriver updates improve things. Although from what ive read the trinity apu's come first and we have to wait for whatever the name of the desktop parts are (at least they still use am3+, the apu's use fm2 and fm1)

  • I'm still rocking that 1055t from launch and it runs like a boss

  • Intel really crushed AMD by using their own strategy against them... to lower the prices ;)

  • Any idea when the 6100 vs 1090T/1100T video is coming out? I have a 990FX board I bought in anticipation for this processor (huge mistake unfortunately) in my system currently and I'm looking to buy one of those two.

  • @dhudzinski

Phenom ii is much faster than Bulldozer. the FX 8150 barely even outspeeds the Phenom ii x4.

  • @Edge0fPain phenom '2'x6 is faster than bulldozer

that is because the 8150 is not actually a 8 core processor but rather a 4 core with Clustered Integer Cores,it is a great architecture with a lot of processing power.

the only reason for its failure is marketing it as a 8 core processor, this made people have high expectations.

  • Im thinking of building my first PC. Im thinking of getting the FX-8 8120 3.10Ghz for £163.98 (Is it worth it? or spend slighty more on i5 2500K £167.98). Reason I want to get AMD is because I have trust with ATI cards and they run well on AMD Processors. £700 Budget Specs going for are AMD FX-8 8120, Gigabyte GA-970A-D3, Gigabyte ATI Radeon 6850 1GB, 500GB HD, Cosair Veng 8GB Mem. + Optical D, OS and Inten Security. So for me as a new PC builder is it worth getting? anybody

  • @SoundWave32 get 2500k, much better at overclocking. U should get 6870 btw :)

  • If I understand moores law correctly, in 2 years we should have 10 core CPUs?

  • What this means is that the consumers are gonna get screwed. No competition, no new technology.

Please AMD, pretty please, give us something new within Q1 of 2012, or else you can kiss the market goodbye. I am dissapoint.

  • im looking at building a server 2008 for home, wanting to use hyper-v for some testing of virtual machines, would the AMD FX Bulldozer 8150 be a good choice due to the 8 cores.

  • @3r3turn not really no matey.

  • @TimeToLiveCustoms Thanks for you input.

  • @3r3turn i believe the 8120 will be fine mine is amazing my 8120 has had a max of 33% cpu usage and that was running battlefield 3 on max

  • @NZinfection Thanks, but i would be using this machine for virtual machines, not gaming.

  • @3r3turn the bulldozer line is terrible at gaming. the fact that he bought one for such a reason proves that he isn't someone you want to take advice from

  • @3r3turn try an AMD opteron?? theyre made for servers

  • @3r3turn plz tell me if it work good with the virtual machines

  • @3r3turn Off course it is, this thing aint good for gaming but for highly multithreaded stuff it's great, cheapest 8core if I'm not mistaking. For virtual machines you need lots of cores and ram so...

  • @3r3turn I'd buy a intel xeon if you have the money but if you don't have the cash I'd go with the 2600k

  • y is 480p allways the slowest to buffer ?

  • great i just brought a fx8120 because i was under the impression it was going to be so great. Then i hear microsoft will bring out a patch to make them run better but when they do they remove it straight away and i haven't heard jack since! What is going on?have i been shagged with my pants on????

  • @Aolen75 pretty much, you should've gotten an i5 2500k. even if you give me two FX processors. id throw them away for an i5 2500k. was exaggerating a bit but you get my point :P

  • @Aolen75 Even with the patch there was onlyh a 1-2 percent increase in performance.

  • A bit fed up with intel too right now. I didnt like sandybridge until the socket 2011 version with 40 pcie lanes. So I buy that. Now I find out, i need yet another board if I buy Ivybridge. It seems like everytime they release a chip these days it comes with a new motherboard requirement. So I guess I am waiting for the socket 2012 release in March. AMD proved themselves out of the running with this product. I agree with the OP. They made the CPU business a one horse race for now.

  • @SymonDymond sandybridge e outperforms ivybridge. Ivybridge is just a minor upgrade from sandybridge using socket 1155.

  • @Amuffin456 32nm to 22nm and you say there is no performance gain???

  • @rosun82 I was referring to bulldozer, from 32nm transistors to 22nm transistors, ivybridge is estimated to offer ~20% faster performance.

  • @Amuffin456 I was just reading an intel document that it will be better architecture and a new socket completely. Very confused by intel marketing even on a good day. I had been waiting for a decent upgrade path for ages. 2600k was no good for me due to issues with the number of PCI lanes. But the E range looked good with 40 lanes. Then they started talking about the socket 2012 for march(ish). Confused the hell out of me and stopped me doing anything. Self defeating marketing.

  • @SymonDymond Wait a bit until ivybridge-e, hopefully there will be 8 core cpu's.

  • @Amuffin456 well what is the use of an 8 core cpu when intel has already cores with a outputt of 12 threads? i mean more cores does not actualy mean more performance. it is only more performance when the application needs those cores like video rendering.

  • @metalmarx123 Well bulldozer isn't a "true" 8 core cpu. It is actually a 4 module cpu, and in a way like hyperthreading. Bulldozer is good in applications that can take use of multithreading, however not that many applications can. Even in applications can, over 50% of the time an i5-2500k will outperform it.

  • @Amuffin456 Bulldozer has physical half cores, better then hyper-threading. programs just need to catch up. Windows 8 is looking promising as it is putting cores in standby like it should be (increased power efficiency) and the cores are being assigned like they should.

  • @Amuffin456 Yeah I agree. After looking at this and trying to decipher the intel roadmap (which is also confusing) I am coming to that conclusion. I have been looking for a way to upgrade from my current x58 980x for ages but right now it seems to be a bit pointless to do anything much. Looks like I wait some more.

  • i have had AMD for years now never INTEL .. but i have made the move over and omg am never going back and no am not a fan boy its just Intel kicks ass am so happy , and thanks TTLC you help me a lot on this move :)

  • when youre doing the conclusion, wtf is on the right? two bowls of caramel with with oats sprinkled over them or some shit?

  • @callmesmorz iced ring doughnuts ;)

  • @TimeToLiveCustoms oooohhhhhhhh now i see it lol

  • i really don't understand how ppl can be fanboys of a brand, i'd quite happily dump intel for amd if amd were better, and happily dump amd id intel were better, where's the need for loyalty?

both companies couldn't give a toss about me personally, they won't do me any favours etc, so they have to prove to me that they are worthy of my money, and only intel are proving that right now

  • @WhipDiddyWhip You share my views perfectly. I'll buy whatever's best for me, and that's all there is to it.

  • @WhipDiddyWhip i agree with you but i dont have money to buy intel so i use amd

  • @FaMiization yeah, the AMD processors re priced VERY low in comparison to intels. if on a budget, theyre pretty damn good chips

  • @WhipDiddyWhip Well said!

  • @WhipDiddyWhip Well said. I totally agree.

  • @BLAZINBEATS123 depends on cpu

  • fuck amd intel ftw :D

  • There are rumors of Dell buying AMD and to me this new series of chips seem rushed to market, i know its been long awaited but Q1 means February time so releasing how they did seems odd to me

  • Not all is what it seems lol. Intel have the K gate tech, amazing manufacturing plant and above all the heat pump on die design. Unless you can pump the heat directly from the wafer you wont get close to intel's performance. AMD know this so there is more to this for sure. There has been very little windows core optimization not to mention that AMD are really open sourcing big time. I think there up to something, share holder related..

  • Considering that Windows is not optimized for bulldozer, then that basically leans towards amd is looking to the windows 8 which will be more optimized for it.

That is when people would actually see real scores and real idea to the bulldozer series. Until then it will look as if it is indeed behind Intel.

  • @Rstjohn87 I've read it's only a 10% increase in performance. Not enough to overthrow the Core i7.

  • for the small amount of increase in power vrs the price anyone with common sense can tell you that amd is the way to go.

  • been testing the FX8150 vs my 1090T on a Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 and the FX8150 berely stays a head, and to make matters worse i could overclock my 1090T to 4.6ghz STABLE @ 1.525v and its gets well over 8200 passmark score on Passmark7 whilst a 4ghz FX8150 was just nudging 8200. this is dismal. Got my LN2 out with my 990FXA-UD7 and shit got worse. Bronze? Give it a black award as a DO NOT BUY!

  • @cowclot Any gamer will not use HT in fact most people have no use for it and really clock speed is what you want not HT to slow down each core but a faster core or more cores. You can not overclock each core if it is OCed to say 4.6ghz thats for the whole chip not each core lol. Yea i7 is not much more of a CPU than a 2500K that's for sure but the fans bouys will hail HT as the holy grail.

  • Who cares if it's not as fast as the i5! I just went from a dual core 3800 to this! AMD for life!

  • IAM SO GLAD THAT I NOT WHENT FOR A AMD BUILD THIS TIME I WAS IN THE STORE AND THEY ONLY HAD INTEL p67 REV 3.0 and took that with a i5 2500k LUCKY THE STORE DID NOT HAD AM3+ CAUSE FAILDOZER REALLY DOES SUCK HARD

  • What benchmarks NEVER measure is the performance when programs cannot scale down to less cores, for example, running 8 virtual machines. A rendering benchmark realistically measures performance, but doesn't show a CPU's ability to run several things in parallel.

Constant thread switching is very inefficient. Also HT doesn't work consistently in real life, so don't assume a 2600k will comfortably run 8 VMs. When running several VMs on Linux, even a fx-6100 would be preferable to a 2600k.

  • The only thing I really hate about Intel (besides the high cost of their chips) are the sockets. They come out with like 8 different socket types for every new chip they make. Who thought that was a good idea? AMD has had essentially the same socket for many years and it's worked great. Intel needs to just pick one that will handle anything they can throw at it, and then run with it for awhile. Futureproofing and upgradeability ftw. That said, unless AMD steps it up I am going back to Intel.

  • The Gran Turismo 5 of CPU releases.

  • @UNSKIALz lmao

  • its venom with a ph prenounce it right its not hard.

  • can you review the Intel core duo extreme as it is very expensive for a core 2 duo and i would like to know if its any good/ worth the money

  • Great Review!

  • Hi, im currently running 955 BE at 3.9ghz.

Bottlenecking the life out of my Asus dcuiiGTX570!! in BF3 (only in 64player maps), task manager shows my cpu hovering around 90-99% usage.

I cant afford to change to intel, i need to know if this CPU will get rid of this bottleneck.

I can overclock pretty well (well my sabretooth 990fx can lol) and how does this overclock? at around 4.2Ghz, it should destroy all single core using games right?

  • @siccmadegames ask yourself.....what is your OS? Are you properly OCing your CPU? What type of RAM and Motherboard you are using? With a Saber tooth 990FX, there are 2 things you should watch for before overclocking......your north bridge and processor voltage.

  • @siccmadegames it is important to do your north-bridge. Without it, you are overclocking your CPU the wrong way. Processor voltage is the next thing.....4.2 Ghz, right? ....your voltage should be about 1.5 volts or beyond. And now, for your RAM...make sure your RAM is on dual-channel to avoid bottleneck...keep it off of single-channel or you are gonna regret it...it's not your CPU or video card...it's your RAM.

  • @siccmadegames dude.... i dont think you need to change your cpu because bf3 does use up 4 cores... and your cpu should be good enough to play bf3.

  • So do you see the problem that AMD has got itself into?? what if in fact hell freezes over and amd produces a faster processor than intel. Amd will of course hype it up like they did the bulldozer, but who the hell is going to beleive all the hype now? I have been using AMD's since the 500mhz athlon but I recently built a 1155 machine, slaped in a 2500k, overclocked the piss out of it, and I win.

  • on an i7920 oced to 3.33 and a sibgle gtx460 i got about the same score as he did with the fx

  • I would say if your a hardcore gamer I would go and even if the performance clock per clock is a bit behind. The reason I way this is because someone like myself who uses a 2gpu system I can do that with and with a 80$ board. With the i5 ur stuck with a single cpu system unless your willing to spend 3-400$ on just they motherboard. Believe me when I say they bulldozer is a fucking BEAST in real world performance. Don't believe me use it I promise u wont see a difference between the 2500k or amd

  • AMD till I die!

  • @FaithFullMemory YYYYYYYYEEEEEEEESSSSSSSS!

  • im not sure if its been said already, but i heard (not sure where or the model numbers, it may have been one of the 8-cores) that was missing an i7's worth of transistors

  • So theres no good news about this cpu? not even with the patch released?

  • thanks this help a lot dose not look like am going back to amd yet !

  • Can you please tell me the fsb & multiplier volts settings to O.C a fx6100 to 4.5Ghz please?

  • @milzeh friad not no mate sorry.

  • @TimeToLiveCustoms Why can't you?

  • @hamidious 1: because every CPU is different. have you heard of the silicone lottery? 2: because Ive never had one 3: because theres nothing saying I actually have too 4: the first 2 are plenty good enough reasons 5: he needs to learn himself its not for me to do his clocking for him.

  • @TimeToLiveCustoms

    OK, fair enough.

  • @TimeToLiveCustoms hahahahahaha coffee all over

  • @TimeToLiveCustoms Does this thing really have 8 cores? I've heard alot of people say it only has 4 supercharged cores or something like that :/

  • Have you got a specific review for fx6100?

    Regards.

  • how are amd still in business...srsly

  • @TheAntman2006 Because they are doing very well in the lower end market with their APUs. I wish people wouldn't jump to conclusions about a company because of one bad line-up. Remember the Pentium 4's?

  • ive seen what the results are for the bulldozer fix and i am not impressed at all. just for a server they are great but for the rest is intel (my opininon and i dont want hatefull comments on this recation thowards this video)

  • Theres an update coming for Win7/AMD cpu which should add some speed, will see by how much.

  • @yumidad Yeah but I heard you had to ask specially to get the update?

  • I heard that with the latest bios the 8150 gets alot more performance, have you tested this theory by any chance?
