It takes a lot of training and experience to apply the extensions correctly to avoid damaging the natural lashes. In addition, you are paying for the artistic expertise of the lash stylist, much like a professional makeup artist.

After your initial lash application, you will need to have your extensions touched up every two to four weeks. Prices depend on the lash stylist's training and experience. I've been doing lashes for almost four years. My initial sets start at $350 for 60 lashes per eye. My relashes are $1.15 per lash. You need to wait 48 hrs before you can get your extensions wet. After that, normal face washing is fine, as long as you are using oil-free products and be very gentle when cleansing your eye area.

Your extensions will last longer if you cleanse your face using a wash cloth to remove your facial cleanser, avoiding the eye area. If you use a cleansing oil. definitely keep this away from your eye area. Cleanse your lashes and lids nightly using an oil-free eye makeup remover and lint free applicators. Also, it is important to keep your eye area totally dry for the first 48 hours after your lash application.

Most clients find they don't need mascara with lash extensions. You can wear it, but it will cause the extensions to shed more quickly than if you don't wear mascara. Also, you need to be very careful with the formula to make sure it won't interfere with the lash bond.

i have had eyelash extension before. they went on painlessly. i loved the way they looked. i did however have a reaction to the glue used and had to have them taken off. so make sure the person doing them uses a superior sensitive glue

Lash extensions are light and natural. They don't feel any different than natural lashes. It is important for you not to rub your eyes, or the extensions will shed prematurely and you may damage your natural lashes from the friction.

Not true. Most of my clients can go 3 to 4 weeks between Relashes. A couple of my clients go 5 or 6 weeks. You get what you pay for with lash extensions. Training and experience really count.

Sorry for the slow response. It's not recommended to do the bottom lashes because your eyes would need to be open. It's a safety issue.
