On a 200k loan @ 5% P&I would be $1,074 current MI would be $92 for a total Payment of $1,166/mo. With her bill it would raise the MI to $258 and total monthly payment to $1,332/mo. This bill raises the payment $166/mo. It is the same as giving them a rate of 7.010%. HELLO WAKE UP!!!

I am from Texas, and though the landscape is beautiful, the people are generally lacking in most categories, the streets are dirty, healthcare is only for those who can afford it (and even then it's not that great), and the low-level schools continue to produce dumber and dumber children. WOWt, she just sponsored bill HR 5072 to raise FHA Monthly Mortgage Insurance from .55 to 1.55. If this goes thru it would have the same effect as "Significantly Raising Interest Rates". On a 200k loan @ 5% P&I would be $1,074 current MI would be $92 for a total Payment of $1,166/mo. With her bill it would raise the MI to $258 and total monthly payment to $1,332/mo. This bill raises the payment $166/mo. It is the same as giving them a rate of 7.010%. HELLO WAKE UP!!!
