a slide or foot breaking could have avoided that. U at least gotta learn to stop before venturing into unknown territory. That's where slide gloves (or at least heavy duty regular gloves just for protection) come in. I recommend elbow and knee pads too. And last but not least, a HELMET! Thats requisite. Even though u werent going that fast, if u fall the wrong way u can get seriously hurt. Other than that, learn and keep at it! :)
