  • Why does it have two levers? Is that just to force you to have both hands on the controls?

  • Personally, I appreciated the video. You helped me make my decision to buy this model. I live where electricity is easily accessible; I don't need two cords in an hour and have enough sense to mount it at a comfortable level and even stop cutting if it begins to hurt:)

  • She could split my log any day.

  • For the kind of wood that I need a splitter for this wouldn't do.

I'd like to see this unit split sycamore or elm or even cherry or apple wood.

  • sure, it takes the back ache out of using an axe and puts it into you stooped over a hydraulic lever.

  • axe is compltly free for ever. Its faster and it gives u exercise. This costs u electric. power cords strung out every where (takes away from the nature atmosphere) and ur bent down on ur knees all the time.

  • @zuuluu1 If you live in a country with cheap electricity, the cost is negligable, and it's meant for "amateurs" that make firewood for private use.

  • pretty model in video, hey where did you get that splitter. is kind of fast compare to other ones i'm looking to buy

  • Nice video. It gets the job done, with ease. The fastest way isn't the point. Not everyonje who buys this needs to cut 15 cords of wood in 2 hours. Thanks.

  • What about when the power goes out?

  • Why an axe? Speed. That is painfully slow.
