hahaha! you are all over the place dear! i was searching for an indian mixed rice and found here at your channel! but i wish you could show us how to cook the Malbari (Kerala) mixed rice! it is soooo tasty!
thanks for your comment here, i actually do not know the recipe malbari (kerala), my knowledge in preparing indian food is zero, but i have to look up the recipe for you and if i find any good ones i will send you the link.
i love trying foods from other cultures. im gonna keep this in mind to try sometime. by the way thanks for showing how to wash foods before cooking. not many cooking shows show this and in result many people cook without proper rinsing. Even if it comes in a bag "prewashed" rinse your food properly!! Some people just put too much faith in the food or medical industry these days.
Chicky, thanks for watching and leaving a comment. this is a very easy recipe that you can play around with the ingredients in it by adding different veggies or nuts and change the spices to suit your own taste. i agree about washing the items before using them in cooking. :)
Hi, Thanks it looks delicious and I will definately cook it soon. Can you please mention what type of spices did you add to the rice. It looked more than just salt and pepper?
it does matter! :-) pretty much...once i was invited to an Iranian house and the young lady came out saying: "i cooked this meal specially for mohammed" I swear to god i loved that lady and i did propose to her! :-) no kidding lol
so, have you married that lady? if so, congratulations and you are lucky that you found a woman that makes you happy and CAN cook!! very rare these days! :)
i still think it does NOT matter what you cook as long as you are in love with your partner. :)
Thanks snow! glad you liked it...it is very delicious and i stuffed turkey with it..try it even with chicken really nice. i like the sweet taste in it and the crunchy nuts too.
psychedelicircus, i never made um ali but i know how it is made...ONE DAY i will make it and post the video here! so keep on watching :)and i will try to use Cheb Khaled song too.
yummy yummm, thanks for the the recipe..

It looks great thanks

adding water to the rice at the end is not essential always, but if the rice is not as fluffy as it should be i add the water. Thanks for coming by.
