  • NEVERMORE!!!!

  • adventure reminds me a wee bit like gimli from lotr- just when he says some things! :)

  • Leonard Nimoy is jekyll. Notice his pointy ears at 7:34 and 7:43. XD

  • Man, there sure are a lot of Star Trek people in this. Patrick Stewart (Captain Picard from TNG) is Adventure, Whoopi Goldberg (Guinan from TNG) is Fantasy, Leonard Nimoy (Spock from TOS) is Dr. Jekyll, and even Christopher LLoyd (Librarian) is from Star Trek (Villian in Star Trek III: The Search for Spock).

  • świetny film, dzięki xD

  • If I was in that library, I would have made a beeline for the erotica section

  • i liked adventurer the most when i was little horror freaked me out

  • No McCauly watch out Michael Jackson might be lurking in there!

  • A ghetto fairy

  • i wounder what itd be like if he found the ristricted section lol

  • If you pay attention to the movement of the characters you can see the similarities between the motions of the Richard and those of the other characters from other movies... like the scene @ 1:09-1:13 looks sooo much ike Audrey from Atlantis the Lost Empire (disney film) when the ship was being wrecked by the monster and she was yelling about the boilers, and other scenes with audrey

  • w. golberg? wow didnt know it was her who played the fairy book

  • i used to watch when i was little i still love now

  • lol i love fantasy

  • I love

  • This movie had such an all-star cast. Macaulay Culkin, Whoopi Goldberg, Patrick Stewart, Christopher Lloyd, Leonard Nimoy, Phil Hartman, and Jim Cummings. Great movie.

  • *Opens Twilight*

Richard: *Gets scared* "Who are you??"

Edward: "I didn't say I don't want to be your friend Richard, just that I don't want to scare you"

    *Demon dog runs off*

Jacob: "There are stories of the cold ones as old as the Hounds of Baskeville legends, and some much more recent. According to legend, my own great-grandfather read some of them. He was the one who made the treaty that kept them off our land. Another legend claims we descended from demon dogs like that"

    Sorry if that sucks

  • Hahaha, I love that I can recognize a lot of these obscure literary references now, like "Hound of the Baskervilles" and "The Raven". I get a kick out of it. I wonder if my English teacher knows about this movie?

  • @gaaraxluvr You just gave me an idea to ask my English Teacher. She seems to love book related movies.

  • if I was there, I would have been so fuckin' interested in erotic books XD

  • @themrmustazz Well Adventuer and Fantasy do act like a couple lol

  • Mr Hyde used to scare me so much I was afraid to look a the tv I cover my eyes thought he was real come get me

  • Comment removed

  • Mwa-ha-ha, the raven made a cameo!

  • dude what would happen if there was a romance novel?

  • @Elecktricd00m They can't do that. This is a kid's movie. :D

  • at 2:18 when Fantasy says "the Exit is just beyond my fantasy section." THAT can be a reference to 'something else'

  • horror is my home boy

  • it's funny how, at 2:18, when she's talking about how she's not in the fantasy section, the book right behind her is CINDERELLA.

  • errrrr books fighting???????? AWSOME!!

  • I just got back from watching ``How to Train Your Dragon'' which was great! Highly recommend it. Adventure for some reason reminds me of Gobber. I guess it's that cheerful scurvyness about him.

  • "now i gotta straighten out my little mermaid underwear"

    "who are you?"

    "IM FANTASY"..."im fantasy"

  • this was one of my favorite movies when I was 4-7

  • XD Ha ha "Aww man now I gotta straighten out my little mermaid underwear." Gotta love Whoopi

  • Patrick Stewart. Man made a career outside Star Trek. Unlike Nimoy.

  • Wow.. didn't know Whoopi was in this.. cool

  • I love the Raven cameo.

  • I gennerally wouldn't give this movie a "G" Rating. This seems more like a PG to me.

  • I mean did you see that dog?! That thing scared the Crap out of me when I was little.

  • Mr Hyde used to scare the hell out of me when I was younger and watching this movie lol

  • Horror is so cute! ^^ Whoopi seemed to play in a lot of films those years didn't she? I think she played a villain in a Christmas film too ^^

  • I think she played one of the Hyenas in The Lion King. And that was made the same year as this movie! ^-^

  • @tooner1994 She did Whoopi Played the female Hyena known as Shenzi

  • 0:39- Oh my God! That's Whoopi! Aw snap! :)

  • DR.JEKYL???? OH SHIT!

  • 2:55, collection of Doyle's works :)

  • Oh and I like how they included Poe with his raven. That's my favorite poem of his

  • it's kinda like an animated version of Myst

  • I like where Fantasy say "What are you doing grabbing me like that messing up my pantyhose?"

  • I don't

  • How come?

  • @ZMommaL56 Now I gotta fix my Little Mermaid underwear!!!! :P

  • Zuul! Motherfucker Zuul!

  • Just an errant thought: If an evil man drank Dr. Jekyll's potion, would that turn him into a good man for a short time? I don't know if that theory is addressed in the book, I haven't gotten around to reading it.

  • For Fantsay book but she is has a dark side i really like Anventer

  • "I'm a book, honey, I can read!"

Brilliant xD I always loved Fantasy^^

  • fanticy she's a bloody nightmere

  • 7:01 - "Nevermore!"

Man! I've had it up to here with Edgar Allan Poe lately!!!

  • Edgar Allan Poe was a good Poet you got to like some of his work

  • It's just that we're doing a lot of projects on him in English.

  • The Raven, The Black Cat, The Murders in the Rue Morgue, The Purloined Letter, the Tell Tale Heart they're all great....twisted and sick....but great

  • 6:04 I know how you feel, Horror...

  • Gesundhiet, Adventure! LOL!^^

  • did anyone notice that some of the mannerisms and facial expressions or Richard are suspiciously close to those of the spanish girl from atlantis the lost empire

  • Ok, first off, this movie came out in 1994and Atlantis came out in 2001, so they couldn't have taken the mannerisms and facial expressions from Atlantis. Think. Maybe the script was written by the same person, which would explain the mannerisms. And as for the animations, those could have been done by the same person as well or it could have been a coincidence.

  • I know pagemaster came out first. I was thinking maybe they reused a few shots from pagemaster to atlantis.

  • Just like Bubbie & K'nuckles from "The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack." 1:28 to 3:02.

  • the raven at 6:54 cries "nevermore"

    HAH! I love that story!

  • Or Steven King...I shudder to think what would've happened then.

  • The Bible.

A grand book of horrors if I ever saw one!

  • Indeed. If they'd fallen into Revelations, they wouldn't have lasted more than five minutes.

  • @AceOseveN What's H.P?

  • @dll0990

    really?

  • @dll0990 H.P. Lovecraft was a author of very gruesome, macabre stories. Almost like Edgar Allen Poe.. but VERRRRRRRRRRY different.

  • @AceOseveN Or edgar allen poe.

  • @YourOasis97 HEY! edgar allen poe was a poetic genius, leave him outa this

  • @ProblmSolvd yes he was lol but very morbid.

  • @AceOseveN omfg that's golden.

  • @AceOseveN Yea, and thank god they didn't open Stephen King's IT.

  • @AceOseveN or Edgar Allen Poe for that matter

  • I think Leonard Nimoy is PERFECT for this role ^^

  • @10blood

    Dr...Dr spock.

  • the horror book is so adorable!!!

  • Guess there were a lot of mis-shelved books in that section! If you look carefully you can see the titles of the books, like Cinderella, The 39 Steps, Macbeth, and Richard III at 2:15. And you gotta love Adventure and Fantasy's bickering!
