@drbelli There are several cars that handle better than an F40: Zondas, Corvette ZR1s, Nissan GTRs, and several other cars all will all leave the F40 on the most mixed circuit you can think of. Even a MKII MR2 Turbo produces similar skid pad results as an F40. It's a 20 year old car. It was the best of its time, but not the present. BTW, a Veyron was not built for handling; it was built to break top speed records. It weighs 80 % as much as that Supra and F40 put together.

It only has 320bhp standard, it maxes out at 165ish-170, a Ferrari F40 is a £250,000 supercar that does 200mph.it was crazy fast in the late 80's, and it's still very very fast now. it has a bhp/tonne of over 430, a supra has no where near that. supra = top of mass produced sports car at its time (6 cil, rwd 2 door)
f40 = best super car that Italians ever made till recent times (near competitor Diablo, needless to say, a good car, but not as good as the f40)
obs:i dislike Ferrari(all but f40)
bring that jun supra, with over 1000 hp it will be faster on the straights, but nothing handles like a F40(not even a veyron) on a mixed circuit (sharp, fast corners and straights ), or has the overall balance of power/weight/cornering

@drbelli There are several cars that handle better than an F40: Zondas, Corvette ZR1s, Nissan GTRs, and several other cars all will all leave the F40 on the most mixed circuit you can think of. Even a MKII MR2 Turbo produces similar skid pad results as an F40. It's a 20 year old car. It was the best of its time, but not the present. BTW, a Veyron was not built for handling; it was built to break top speed records. It weighs 80 % as much as that Supra and F40 put together.

@black07Z i think not many cars handle better than the f40 because back then, the tire technologies weren't anything compared to what they had now. some of today's tires would b better than that time's slick tires.. the f40 is pure driving without aids... gtr's have computers to sort everything out.. even the zr1 has some electronic help besides its super smart tcs.. i think the 40 was cars at their best.. and the supra is a straight line monster with the best engine ever made hence my YT name:)

Japan wouldn't have much of a chance of competing without turbos, because it produces one competitive car in the supercar market today that is naturally aspirated: the Lexus LFA, and it costs $375,000. The 2JZ-GTE is a beast of an engine. Not too many engines can handle the beating it can take at high boost with stock internals. Did a Supra beat your mom's Charger or something?
