  • Watch the left of the screen at 0:03...

  • this may have been said a lot, but how does 2 face survive the car crash?

  • @jhibbitt1 With a seatbelt...

  • What if the driver got heads too? Then the rest of the ride would have just been...awkward.

  • Since he has no skin, he could get easily diseased by bacterias comming into his flesh :l

  • @Jontsen12 i know right he could die by a virus

  • - He is not...

    - Who :O ?

    -... your driver...

  • i find it so creepy how he says "your driver...."

  • Why can't every youtube video have subtitles like this one.......

  • RAMIEREZ, KIDNAP RACHEL

  • @blahmehblah1

Conversation ended when he decided it was time bash on something like anime in an effort to state his supperiority over the complexity of Batman.

Buddy, stick with your losses, and don't bring outside topics into such an issue. It's like saying 'Your Mother' as a diss; unneeded and weak all the while making youself look like a douche bag.

It was a good discussion until you did that, and for that my good sir, I commend you.

  • @TheFattaliciouS I just found it humrous dude, that is all, It wasn't a desperate attempt at an insult, It just amused me is all.

But keep thinking that, I am an artist who just cant stand anime, It's a viewpoint, and we are all entitled to our opinions

  • @TheFattaliciouS For the record it wasn't a conversation until the person replied to a comment that I never intended to start a heated debate so I guess that kinda devalues your whole comment dude!

  • Vucko the dog can talk?

  • geez you people. let the movie characters alone. it's based in a comic book.

  • If that second toss had been on the good side it would have been pretty awkward.

  • @soberchimera61 haha yeah two face would be like -_-...'just drop me off here' lol

  • Two face just put himself through a horrible accident just to prove a point, AWESOME

  • why the other hand it's not burned

    (sry 4 my english)

  • @omardco21 His Face is burned cause some alcohol came in his face so it could burn, probably no alcohol came on his hand

  • this is what people dont understand... its a movie not a television series... two face died cause he had too... now witness the absolution of bane..

  • @MrShane737 In fact, I believe Scarecrow made an appearance in The Dark Knight, which makes your point pointless

as if it made any sense in the first place...

  • Thank you Nolan, for wasting one of the greatest villains in the DC universe

The fanboys will say "BUT IT HELPED WITH THE STORY AND THE NARRATIVE."

Fuck yr narrative. The narrative could have been done with several other smaller characters.

    A great villain wasted

  • @blahmehblah1 its a movie... not a television series...

  • @MrShane737 Implying that movies can't have continuity?

  • @blahmehblah1 yeah like ra's al ghul survived the first film.

  • @blahmehblah1 in real life can someone REALLY survive with his other face scarred without getting an infection? didn't think so and since its based on reality...

  • @creedjeremy In real life would a billionaire dress up as a Bat every night to fight criminals that wear make up?

    Not really

  • @creedjeremy This is a comic book adaptation, c o m i c b o o k

  • @creedjeremy Have a nice time

  • @blahmehblah1 *shrugs* it could happen

  • @creedjeremy Well he was in the hospital after the accident. They could have prevented infection. Also, I don't remember seeing anything about him NOT getting an infection. It's a part of the story that probably only you care about. And what do you mean by "his other face"? You only get one.

  • @blahmehblah1 Cry me a river, Two Face as a bad guy is lame. His creation is the only thing great about him. As a full time villain? he sucks. He has nothing special. He's just an interesting looking mobster. Now Ras, Joker, Scarecrow, and next BANE these are excellent characters. These characters actually manage to give Batman a challenge. Two Face can't do shit compared to these guys. So yeah thanks Nolan for Ras, Joker, Scarecrow, and next BANE

  • @yamisupersaiyan Your little icon, anime I tink, amused me because I've got somebody who is a fan of anime/manga type crap debating with me the complexities of Batman villains.

Two Face bar none is the most complex Batman villain in the entire universe, aside from Joker, who is the greatest invention by Robert Kane and his buddies. The point is of course Two Face is an interesting looking bad guy, that's pretty much all any of the villains were and still are. The gimmicks make them.

  • @blahmehblah1 What has Two Face done to Batman that scarred him? Also some anime/manga are even more complex and well thought out than american comics so stop generalizing. Joker paralyzed Barbara and only exists because B-Man does and Bane is the only villain to actually defeat B-man physically. Please explain to me what more Two Face had going? Two Face explicitly yes, but Harvey Dent was a very major character and moments like when hes torturing the guy in an alley

  • @blahmehblah1

show more of his Two Face side. So technically Two Face was there...in Dent all along (yeah cheesy whatever). What the fuck? The Dark Knight is a blessing for Dent. That is the best portrayal of Harvey Dent you will ever see, mark my words. Two Face, for the time he was there was portrayed excellently. So you would rather Nolan expand on Dent for a third film? which would completely destroy the meaning of the 2nd and make no room for a better villain? Thats stupid

  • @yamisupersaiyan Aaron Echart was fabulous and outshone by Ledger, what an underrated actor s well as Eric Roberts (Sal Maroni)

Back on topic, this was not Two Face, this was Dirty Harry with facial scarring and a grudge. I think if they let the character grow into the Two Face with the split personality then it would make more sense. Instead he is just a set piece used to tell a morality tale, which is bullshit for this great character. I hope Christopher Nolan has a trick up his sleeve for 3

  • @blahmehblah1

Ahh the split personality thats what you wanted. I really don't see why he would develop it in the scenario presented in the film. I'm sorry but he is not that great of a character. It really doesn't make sense in the comics how he could turn to evil SO quickly. I'm still a bit lost as to what you wanted. How would a plot work only based on Two Face? He physically AND mentally doesn't hold a candle to Bman....so what would the plot be and why would it be interesting

  • @yamisupersaiyan I admit that when I saw Aaron as Two Face, I had a fangasm, the same kind of fangasm that Jack Nicholson gave me in Batman when he portayed The Joker with a great balance of sinister and comical, and I cant believe I used the word fangasm

The gasm unfortunately wore off when he was cheaply killed off in the end to serve a plot that isn't as big as Harvey Dent in the Batman universe. A minor character could have been used, but no he got killed in the film. Nolan dropped the ball

  • @blahmehblah1

Really you don't think the split personality is a bit overdone and cheesy? Whatever. I could be wrong about this....but I can't think of any notable Batman graphics novels where Two Face is a major character? Like honestly I actually want to know how big and important is Two Face (not Dent) in the comics? After the transformation I haven't seen anyone utilize his character as you're saying they have. A minor character couldn't be used, that was Jokers grand plan

  • @yamisupersaiyan You say that a Split Personality is overdone and cheesy, yet you would watch a whole film about a guy who is big and strong, big and strong guys were out of fashion in about hmm, yeah I'd say the 1970's

Name how many comic book characters have Split personalities and then how many have been big strong brutes, I think you'll find the big strong brutes is so overdone Its practically burnt out.

  • @blahmehblah1 Its not about split personalities. Its about what you can do with it. Two Face kills by chance...which is fun for a minute or two but then what more can you do with the character? He possesses nothing special. Hes a normal criminal with an interesting thought process, nothing more. He is not close to being Batmans equal in any way, shape, or form. I'm sorry if I offended you, but admit it bro Two Face has never been a challenge

  • @yamisupersaiyan There I've cried you a river. I imagne you're probably one of those 17 year old Wapanese girls who dress up as Harley Quinn at conventions and aren't a true fan of the comics. You probably think newer is better too

Good luck with that, Joker is just a mobster with face paint, Harvey is just a mobster with facial scarring, but he had something going on inside, the split personality which wasn't explored and could have been left open for TDKR

  • @blahmehblah1

You haven't specified on example where Two Face is important. Even in the video game Arkham City, he fails hard. He's beaten in one punch by Batman. LAME much?. Joker isn't just a mobster, the man is unique because he only exists because Batman exists. Thats what makes Joker so interesting. That dynamic that its Batmans fault Joker exists is very appealing. Plus he actually serves a challenge. Would you really prefer a film about Two Face than Bane?

  • @yamisupersaiyan Who gives a shit about the games, how does that give half a fuck of reasoning to your argument?

And Bane for Christs sakes. You say that Two Face is a pretty bland villain, all Bane has got in his favour is his huge muscles and brute strength, oh how interesting. I haven't seen that in a villain before, yawn indeed.

  • @blahmehblah1

Chill...the arkham games are reknowned for how great they are. They are written by veteran Batman writers so it gives reasoning as to how Two Face is. I have NEVER seen a a brute like Bane with a MIND. The guy is HUGE AND SMART. Now thats interesting. Most usually portray a big guy as an idiot. What makes Bane great is his goal and beginnings. He grew up in a prison serving his parents life jail sentence. He grew up watching all this corruptness

  • @blahmehblah1

Bane is Batmans equal, in every respect. Thats what makes him compelling. Bane wants to control and wants recognition and THATS why he targets Batman. He's not some 1D lame villain who wants to do crime, he literally wants to takeover and be the symbol Batman is. I HAVE NEVER seen a big strong character with a mind. Bane is a genius. Thats whats unique about his character. Why must a brute be a dumbass?

  • @yamisupersaiyan Two Face had a lot more going and we didn't get to tap into that in the movie, because he was used as some fucking prop, background scenery basically and was harshly directed into the movie. He definitely should have stayed the course for the closing chapter.

As for that cry me river thing, that's insinuating that I was sad when really I'm just annoyed, mild annoyance which will fade with time (until he get's a decent screen adaptation) Have a good un!

  • @blahmehblah1

    you're a moron.

  • @buuski Hey internet tough guy, you want to debate? Then debate, you want to reply to me with "you're a moron" then you can take it and shove it your corn hole capisce

  • @buuski Yeah thought so

  • @blahmehblah1

    you must be 12

  • He looks less scarier than on the cartoon.

  • he doesnt got any chances...

    who?

    your driver

  • This is really badass and all.. But how the fuck would he survive that?

  • @BlackoutMenace

    seat-belt

  • this batman movie sucked this scene was retarded, not being a troll but this whole scene just seemed comically villainous to me and not the good kind

  • @dougd1015 you are a troll.. this film was great

  • i honestly thought the first was much better and that's not to say that the tim burton batman wasnt jsut incredible it had its flaws too but this movie was just comically violent and without its shock factor with how evil joker can be didnt have much actual substance, i'd stick with the batman animated series from the 90's

  • @dougd1015 then do that instead of whining on youtube about an interpretation of batman that differs from yours.

  • Would also have been very awkard is two face was crippled or killed in the car accident he caused.

  • My favorite scene of the movie *O*

Sorry joker, i love you, but Harvey-Two Faces is my favorite Batman character xD

  • could be commercial for seat belts !

  • so they finally meet, face to... two-face!

  • that was ballsy, even with a seatbelt he could've died too LOL

  • Dent should still be allowed to shoot people in the knees, basically any nonfatal injury he should be allowed to inflict, hell Batman allows himself to inflict all nonfatal injuries even if he refuses to use firearms.

  • @ravenouscolonelhart Yeah, in the comics he'd choose between killing or beating senseless. This movie just went with killing or living. Eh. Still scary.

  • 0:02 RAPE!!

  • 25 people got the burnd side of the coin (Scales).

  • 0:02 All Dent wants is a hug.

  • I swear that's the best way to decide if you should kill someone. So simple yet effective (I'm talking about in movies by the way, not in reality).

  • Did Maroni die in this?

  • 0:02. One of Maroni's henchmen on the left is taken out.

  • @JWFernel WOW I didnt even see that

  • @JWFernel lolz holy shit i NEVER noticed!! O_O

  • @JWFernel Oh Shit, your Right!

I never noticed it until now, harvey Dent takes that guy out and gets in the car just as maroni's getting in the car. Explains why he didn't spot him while getting in, Good eyes!

  • Comment removed

  • please tell me he will live in the nxt movie

  • good but i missed the split personality

  • hence, why you should always wear seat belts...

  • For those that think that Two Face was a pointless villain have quite frankly missed the point of the entire movie.

  • Although the 'dude' in me enjoys the Nolan Batman better, the artist in me appreciates Burton's far, far more. ALL the actors were better and much more clever choices (Nicholson, Keaton).

It's amazing how death can raise someone's value in the eyes of the masses - Nicholson was a much better joker. If you're not a fanboi teenager, you'll recognize just how much Ledger borrowed from him.

  • @allrequiredfields Opinions, Opinions.

    Nuff said.

  • Heath Ledger's Joker was by far and away the best thing about Dark Knight and anyone who says otherwise needs their head checking. He DOMINATED The Dark Knight.

Two Face didn't come anywhere near to the awesomness of The Joker. Two Face was a piece of shit lol!

RIP Heath Ledger, you gave one of the greatest on screen performances of all time.

  • Comment removed

  • I have to say heath ledger was a terrific joker and Aaron Eckhart was a terrific harvey dent/2 face, who ever did the casting did a spectacular job.

  • eckhart did a spectacular job as two-face... as good as ledger's joker

    if not better

  • @mattwilhelm60 Agreed Eckhart is indeed way too underrated.

  • @mattwilhelm60 ROFL! Better than Heath Ledger's Joker? Dude are you mad? XD

Heath Ledger OWNED this movie. Bale, Eckhart didn't come close to matching Heath Ledger.

  • @themenaceanish *sigh... do i have to stay mainstream and go along with everyone else? no im a big fan of two-face just because of his duel personality and tragic origin. the joker is batman's arch enemy, sure but he is over used so much that the character gets kinda stale sometimes. and if you search "joker" anywhere all you get is heath. Is nobody these days familier with jack nicholson? his performance beat the living shit out of ledger

  • @mattwilhelm60 Jack Nicholson? ROFL! HAHAHAHA! The moment Dark Knight came out Jack Nicholson was forgotten XD Awww don't cry that no one likes that shitty old fool anymore XD His performance has nothing on Heath Ledger and 99% of people will agree with me.

Jack Nicholson? Pfffft XD Good one dude!

  • @themenaceanish if your not a five year old your high as hell. plenty of scenes in the dark knight often use the same scenarios that 89's batman had. examples: the "hit me" scene, the scene with the joker in the meeting room, and the final battle between batman and the joker. so it goes to show that heath wouldn't know shit if he didn't have jacks influence to work upon. try and watch batman and the dark knight back to back and you'll understand what im talking about

  • @mattwilhelm60 I don't wanna watch the old Batman it's shit, Dark Knight owns.

  • @themenaceanish im sure plenty of people would agree with me and reasure me that arguing with a toddler is a lost cause... be sure to ask your parents permission before you use the computer dude

  • @mattwilhelm60 Wow I must be a super advanced toddler considering how I am able to speak in coherent English XD

  • @themenaceanish how long did it take for you to learn the word coherent?

  • @mattwilhelm60 I know it's amazing isn't it? I'm a toddler and I know the world coherent!

  • @themenaceanish the world coherent?

  • @mattwilhelm60 The guy can't spell.

  • @TheDensley7 haha

  • @themenaceanish Looks like I own your ass motherfucker!!!

  • @TheDensley7 Didn't I make you cry on a different video? Ooops sorry to mention that, I know how touchy you are xD

  • @themenaceanish STOP FIGHTING

  • I lost a coin toss two years back and I still have the scars

  • What's the most.. you ever lost.. in a coin toss...

  • would have been awkward for two face if the driver was "lucky" too

  • @BeNjI6576 Then he would of judged the cars engine.

  • @BeNjI6576 Imagine how it this scene would have went if that happened

    "You're a lucky man........so is he."

  • @BeNjI6576 he probably would have flicked the coin again, until it landed on bad side

  • @BeNjI6576 LOLZ

  • seat belt save lives!

  • Haha the pure choice of him shooting the driver which would endanger them as well but he does it anyway. Got to love that.

  • RAMIREZ! TAKE OUT THAT DISTRICT ATTORNEY!

  • Yeah, because he was the only one who used the savity belt :p

  • anyone notice that Two Face survives the car crash

  • Heath Ledger was awesome as the Joker, but Aaron played the best Two Face I'd ever seen. It's those other good characters that you tend to ignore because somebody played a better one, like Robert Patrick who played great as the T-1000 in Terminator 2, but everybody only remembers Arnie as the Terminator.

  • The moral of this scene: Seat belts save lives.

  • harvey dent pro fighting skills now

  • 00:14 anyone else notice he just got on the car and its going already at high speed?

hes driver wouldnt have even been able to get on the car yet.

  • @RayWiIliamJohnsom lol, never noticed that

  • Heath Ledger is the greatest movie ever, fuck Two Face he was shit in Dark Knight. Aaron Eckhart so overrated it it was pathetic XD

Heath Ledger stole the show in TDK, nuff said.

Oh and I could go on a huge rant about Christian Bale and his gay ass dog voice.

  • Unfortunately Two-Face got the Venom treatment like in Spiderman 3. Two of the coolest villains that the fans care about the most, yet barely any screen time at all and killed off before the end of the movie. What are you directors thinking?!?!!?

  • @stefanisawesomer except that two face actually fit into the context of the story, and that harvey was a well developed character, his rise and fall was a awesome storyline.

where as venoms story was poorly done, rushed, and cheesy.

also...the symbiote falls from the sky and...attaches itself to peters bike?

dont ever compare spiderman 3 to the dark knight

  • @MrBurgundy76 Pay attention to the fact that I wasn't comparing the quality of both films whatsoever. Spiderman 3 was awful. Dark Knight was great. Both villains received little to no screen time and were killed off prematurely is the point I was trying to make.

  • @stefanisawesomer oh well then i understand. i know what you mean, and i wouldve liked to see more of two face (my favorite villian) but in context of this movie series (which is apparently going to be only three parts) it worked very well and the character had a great plot, and his death really drove home the point of the movie and at least he wasnt shoehorned in like venom, which was just terrible.

  • @MrBurgundy76 I understand yeah. His death was a big part of the film and it really helped make it whole in a sense.

  • @MrBurgundy76 Heath Ledger as The Joker stole the show dude, Two Face was nothing compared to him.

  • @themenaceanish the jokers just a mad dog...i want whoever let him off the leash

  • @MrBurgundy76 Your point being? Heath Ledger stole the show dude, get over it.

  • @themenaceanish dude stop being a troll. DUH everyone knows heath stole the show. he played the best villain ive ever seen. but i was discussing the story of two face on a scene involving two face. can i not discuss that? does that hurt your feelings? are you gonna cry? awww po' baaaaby gonna cry.

  • @MrBurgundy76 Two face was shit, he got pawned by The Joker XD

  • It always bothers me the way once the camera cuts into the vehicle, they are already moving so fast in the background when a split second before they are at a complete stop. once you know, you cannot unknow, and you're welcome.

  • The driver is somehow deaf?

  • RAMIREZ! KILL HARVEY DENT'S WIFE!

  • Did anyone else think that Two face should have been the central vllian in the next movie.

  • @cjcool91 agreed he is one of the most popular batman villains outside of the joker and i also dont feel that chris nolan did enough with him , he really only existed at the end of the dark knight think he should have gotten more screen time

  • @cjcool91 That's what I thought until the hospital blew up, until he appeared in another scene. But then he died. But what ever, Bane is a good choice.

  • @cjcool91 but he was one of the main villains from the movie, the holly fucking story is only about harvey dent, what you want more?

  • @willischroer yeah but I was expecting him to be the villian in the next movie seemed pretty logical. unti they friggin killed him off ofcoarse.

  • @cjcool91 I know I do..

  • @cjcool91 Well the thing is it would of made the next film really good, but it wouldn't of made this film as good. A good movie knows to when to make there audience unhappy somethings.

  • @Charlesperalo No it makes the movie depressing and ends on a bitter note thats why I like the batman begins ending where it revealed the next villian would be the joker. I was hoping they would do the same for Two Face. Keep in mind Two Face is my favorite Batman villian so it was really dissappointing to see him killed off before he would rule the streets of Gotham.

  • Urgh, this is even worse than Tommy Lee Jones' depiction.

  • @LightStijn we must have watched a different movie then cause this is a GREAT interpretation of the character. i'm sorry this did not match your pseudo-psychological idea of scizophrenics. They don't talk to themselves using "we" but they have drastic mood swings, so much that it's a whole second personality but there's always one dominant, never both at the same time. he's also as angry as I wanted two-Face to be and everything he says has a second meaning. I don't know how you can't like it.

  • Comment removed

  • @LightStijn Wow, none of those reasons are valid.

  • @neosoontoretro None of those reasons are valid? What are you, stupid?

  • @LightStijn No, just rationale.

  • @neosoontoretro That's not rational.

  • @LightStijn Evaluating all the reasons and seeing they're invalid is rational. Sorry.

  • @neosoontoretro Not if they're valid. Now stop acting like a floor-cloth. I'm getting tired of these submissive fanboy's.

  • @LightStijn But here is the thing they're not valid. And I for one am getting tired of these whiny and obnoxious fanboys.

  • @neosoontoretro What, you getting tired of yourself? Great reply.

  • RAMIREZ! PICK UP RACHEL!

  • Don't stop for lights cocks nuthin.

  • I really like Two-Face he is one of my favorite badguys.

  • You know everytime I watch the Two-Face scenes, I always find myself looking at, of course, the burned side of his face. Never looking at the other, has anyone else done this?

  • The film is about the similarities between batman and his villains, especially Two-Face since they both take a very different approach to the problem that the Joker represents. harvey's a good guy as long as he's not directly targeted and then the horrible consequences crush him mentally, whereas batman was still a child when he saw his parents die. he had his whole life ahead of him to become a responsible person but Harvey's view of the world was already clearly defined.

  • ...Let All State Stand. .... Are u in good hands?

  • I liked this two-face better than the tommy lee jones version

  • WOW, they did and EXCELLENT job making the burned side of his face. Can't wait to see how are the CG guys going to make Bane in the next one..

  • The thing I love about this two face is he reminded me so much of The Long Halloween/Dark Victory Two Face. He was so underrated in TDK

  • the two face done in the cartoon series batman 1992 was just brilliant and awesome . infact all the characters in that series were perfect . no doubt

  • two face is sort of an intese and revengful character although two face in dark knight was true to the comic book but was under written . they should not have killed him . the the two face done batman begins by tommy le jones - a talented actor was horrible they murdered and raped his character . despite taking tommy le jones i kept wondering what s with half pink face . two face is not funny nor a menace . he is troubled horried and quite depreessed . he lost his face and his girl

  • So did Maroni die in the car crash? I'm assuming he did, but it's never specified

  • I love Twoface in this movie but I think he needed more screentime or have him the main villian in Dark Knight Rises
