Remember the good old days in my 5000 with a 6000 engine. Was pulling more than this up hills with the wheels in the air and the diff lock on. She's still going and i'm now deaf due to the engine noise.Modern tractors will pull this easy and faster (thats the power of power) but the 5000 will still be going when my JD 6820 is dead. (Despite the fords porus block).

Depends on a number of things. Specifically the moisture (appear dry) and size of the bales, how tightly they're baled. I'd guess somewhere in the realm of 800 pounds looking at them but then again I could be completely wrong.

well it does depend, but those bales are fresh and there is still a good bit og moisture in them. and the one's in this video are 5 foot. and who knows how tight he has them packed. ours are about 5 feet and weigh just under 1000 when they are made

Not much of weight on that load. Biggest problem with a turntable steered trailer on farmland, is that there isnt any weight on the tractors rear axle to give traction.

Putting the trailer in the high drawbar, instead of the low one, would help lifting the front end of both tractor and trailer, which gives about 1000 kg more rear axle pressure when the going gets tough.

I built a tandem bale trailer with about 1.5 ton static tongue weight, which gives traction to pull a 2nd trailer behind it
