This Holy Qu'ran explains what each verse means and it is mind blowing, very enlightning. It's a beautiful religion and teaches the Truth. All Atheist should read the Qu'ran.

Swimming .. dancing whatever they are very different things, rotating around axis looks more similar to word rotation in place of other words used in quran. I find it even worse that you say Islam is unfair to women. Hinduism tells women they are worth nothing more than servitude to their husband no? If he dies she is as good as dead no? I am currently reading the Holy Qu'ran and I cant put it down. It is absolute Truth! I recomend reading the English translation and commentary by Maulana Muhammad Ali. This Holy Qu'ran explains what each verse means and it is mind blowing, very enlightning. It's a beautiful religion and teaches the Truth. All Atheist should read the Qu'ran.

The word "swim" in the above verse is expressed in Arabic by the word "sabaha" and is used to describe the movement of the Sun in space. The word means that the Sun does not move randomly through space but that it rotates around its axis and follows a course as it does so. The fact that the Sun is not fixed in position but rather follows a specific trajectory is also stated in another verse

Well I don't get it why people like you are defending that and even Zakir Naik comparing mordern science with islam. Swimming .. dancing whatever they are very different things, rotating around axis looks more similar to word rotation in place of other words used in quran. Rotation in arabic is way different then those words used. 1500 years ago meaning of everything was different then its quoted today, making different meaning of something and then saying its already mentioned is not right.

@imregrettin I didn't mean that you are intolerant.....you seem to be an educated person who lives in a multi ethnic society.......I am not against Islam.......I am against people who use it to terrorize others and spread violence........there has to be certain tenets of Islam which preach such violence/intolerance........otherwise why is 99 out of 100 times a terrorist is muslim........so it would be better if muslims would point out such centuries old fallacies and evolve.

What is the Indian army doing to the kashmiris and have been for how long? There is not a single part of Islam which does not apply to today and all times. Instead of argueing pointlessly making comments you have learned from the lies of mass media try asking a question....any question about islam and how it is intollerant or does not fit into todays society or your claim that it has old fallacies which need to evolve. Islam is perfect, always has been and always will be not because I said so but because it is from the One and True God Allah. You will realise this if you keep asking sincerely seeking truth about Islam. Not to convert but just to know the truth so you can judge sincerely non bias.

@imregrettin Yes, Islam is perfect in ways man can never be. That is why we purify ourselves all the time for prayer because we always sin, forget or just not at the right state of mind at certain moments. Islam is so beautiful, so beautiful in a way that u get fuzzy feelings of being complete. When I have a hard day or confused, I pick up the Quran, turn to ANY PAGE and IMMEDIATELY my hardship is washed away. I feel so bad how people cant have that experience.

@imregrettin You were mentioning in this video about how interpretation remove the essence of Islam. I agree with you there to some extent. But how do you justify the actions of your prophet Mohammed when he raged hell in the Arabian peninsula. Was it to get rid of the infedels? I mean, he is the prophet, he had a "dialogue" with God himself so surely he interpretation must be flawless. So, if his actions were flawless, it can only mean the true essence of Islam was for Mohammed to gain power.

@imregrettin The thing is all the knowledge about the universe, Earth, Sun etc. have all been stated before the Quaran. You have to remember in pre-Islamic Arabia there was a lot of trade between Indians and Arabs and this knowledge especially from the Vedas and Indian astromoner Aryabhatta was written long before the Quaran. You are a seeker of truth, please review Aryabhatta's work and the relevant section in the Vedas. You have to understand that Islam was forced upon people with violence.

MY brother As far as i know english is not Dr Zakir Naik first language thats why may be it is difficult for him to explain some verses in quran ,But as far as i know he is more popular among muslims as comapred to any other muslims scholers, and Allah is helping him spreading his Dawa mission and Allah knows better the peoples heart.and one thing i dont understand that why u are putting this video online and why not email him , its looks like u want to make u r self poular.
