When I filmed it the first time I moved the bottle to the middle. When I filmed the second time we dident move the bottle so it was at the exact same place. Thats why it was so easy to move the mask over because there was no change. The only thing I had to do was to adjust the light and colors so that the 2 clips matched eachother.
It´s like this. I have 2 seperate moviefiles, one with me on the left side and one with me on the right side. I put the right one over the left one so they are overlapping eachother.
Then I put a mask on the upperlayaer (in this case the one with me on the right. I placed the mask in the middle, just far enough so I dont have to move it when I place the bottle on the table. Then when Im hitting myself I needed to animate the mask so it follows my hand and nothing more, this is the tricky part. Then animate it back over so that the bottle is shown in the lower fotage (the one with me to the left).
ha ha, had to figure out a way to cut the water bottle.

how did u do the thing where there is one part (the bottle) moving from mask to mask? did u rotoscope that individually?
