I'm so awesome. I was at the Twilight Zone part and I was wondering how they did that. So I opened an image editing software and started messing around trying to figure out how they did it. And I actually figured it out. I'm so proud of myself.
@electonicsforless They changed them for safety reasons. Individual seat belts can go as tight as you want. An individual lap-bar, if there is somebody with a larger thigh in your row, caused people to fly up too high out of their seats.
@electonicsforless Back in 03 they took out the lapbars, there used to be only one seatbelt in the middle of the isle everyone used to call the "suicide" seat, when the ride went random in 03 they took out the lapbars and gave all seats belts.
@electonicsforless i beleive that is a different version...possibly the tokyo disney....the WDW one is way better due to the seatbealts allowing you to actually raise out of you seats i think that it gives you a lot more of a rush!! I think that the imagineers did an exceptional job with every attraction at disney especially with ToT
@DisneyParkVideos I know its really lame that the Disneyland version doesn't move forward considering it was built almost 10 years after the WDW version.
I now know what people mean when they say WDW's Tower of Terror is better than DCA's. I admit the only time I rode DCA's was 2 years ago and I only opened my eyes at the top, but I know it doesn't move around like that.
@Melody937 yeah, true. that's one of the major differences in the DCA version. but, the DCA version is supposedly more high-tech than the WDW version.
what year was this? cuz there was only 10 parks now theres 11 soon 2 b 12 and they only mention the TOT at MGM studios not DCA so it was b4 2004

@waltgodisney At the unload station, the vehicle hooks up with a charger and recharges while guests unload.

I can't decide if I want to be an Imagineer, or just be best friends with one.

8:13 is an exaggeration. It never really sparks like that

@GabeWorkman34 I think it used to, but know we just have the little firework screens. You have to remember that this video is pretty old.
