Daws past away May 18,1988 of a heart attack He and Stan Freberg did the last network comedy radio show in 1957 aka "The Stan Freberg Show" which in the late 90's was awarded a place in the Smithsonian Institute.
There was a user, but as usual, Cartoon Network, Turner Broadcast, or some other asshole third company party got pissed/paranoid about their dwindling piles of money and held lawsuit papers/knives against the Youtube makers' throats. I'll let you fill in the blanks. It was a shame too. MADDOG even had "Yogi Bear and the Magical Flight of the Spruce Goose" on his account, too. Oh, and "The Good, the Bad, and the Huckleberry Hound." And the "Jackson Five".
Also on Arnold Stangs sounding like Phil Silvers's Bilko:One of the Hanna-Barbera coffe table books even,, quote Mr.Stang as recalling he'd have to watch that he didn't sound like himself, but then the sponsors, one of whom was problay Nestle Chunky-for whom Stang advertised, WANTING Arnold Stang not to be Phil Silvers but to be ARNOLD STANG!!] Jerry Mann's Bilko voice on Floitnstones came periously close!! Allegedly, HE was to have been Top Cat originally.
Thanks. That explains something that's puzzled me for a long time--mainly why Stang sounded nothing like Phil Silvers. But then, you think about it, Butler was very adept at his Hokey Wolf/Silvers voice. They didn't really need two Bilkos.
Actually, it was Daws Butler except for Jerry Mann as "Dino/Snorkasauaras" Arnold Stang s[!!!!!!!!!] vocie characterization of Top Cat [like Sterling Holloway doing an impression of Jimmy Durante...Arnold Stang doing an imitatation of another disctintve voiced actor, Phil Silvers for Top Cat. ]
Jean {"Wilma"} VanderPyl supplied virtually all the female voices for H-B's syndicated cartoons in the '60s. Naturally, Daws Butler's "Sergeant" features his patented Phil Silvers/"Sgt. Bilko" voice {the same one he also used for "Hokey Wolf"}. "Yippee, Yappee & Yahooey" {"The Three Goofy Guards"} originally appeared as a segment of on "THE PETER POTAMUS SHOW" (with "Breezly & Sneezly").
They do. Daws Butler did a crap load of stuff. Yogi Bear, Huckleberry Hound, even Bingo of the Banana Splits. Don't know about Doug and Hal, but a lot of the actors worked for other HB productions.
@CokaCoolA: As you mentioned, Daws Butler was the main voice artist for Hanna-Barbera during the late '50s through the early '60s. He did Reddy, Huckleberry Hound, Yogi Bear, Quckdraw McGraw, Baba Louie, Dixie, Mr Jinx, Hokey Wolf, Snagglepuss, Wally Gator, Augie Doggy, Cogswell Cog, Elroy Jetson, Super Snooper and Blabber Mouse, and quite a few others. Daws' voice partner was usually Don Messick during this time period.
Doug Young was the original voice of Doggy Daddy and Ding-a-Ling.
@ACcountryFan WOW! Butler was just as versitile in cartoon voices as the late Mel Blanc was for Warner Bros cartoons. Thanks for posting. Is Butler still with us or has he passed on?

But Cartoon Network doesn't even air the YIPPEE, YAPPEE AND YAHOOEY cartoons on their network anymore. Not even BOOMERANG. Why they should complain?

Yappee / The King: Hal Smith
Yahooey / Serge: Daws Butler
