No it wasnt to make room for the freeway...Wrong... I seen all of the deconstruction unfortunatly... It was bought buy a bloke who wanted the land only... Sunway who owned the park, the guys in malaysia sold it to a bloke in sydney who had an idea of developing it. He is making more money from the rent of those buildings than he ever would as a park.. PACDIRT.. I was there the day the Beastie came down.. I have pieces of it.. It was very sad.

You can probably guess that I am bitter. The only places I have to take my nephews for a day out now is Taronga Zoo and Jambaroo. They are both awesome places, but they are nothing like Wonderland.

the pirate ship scared me went my family visited sydney many years ago! our pirate ship in adelaide only goes half way round! not half a scary!
