  • great idea, im gunna see if i can implement this theory on my license plate

  • Would make a good youtube video effect. Just make a body suit so it looks like you're made of light lol.

  • I should try that the next time I want to fry my head.

  • Why doesnt it work that well on his camera?

  • your a fucking retard it was really invisible to my naked eye

  • @NaggerBagger09

I love when complete idiots talk.

Our eyes cannot pick up Infrared, fucktard. Cameras can.

  • @NaggerBagger09 lol more like niggerbagger, you are so damn dumb.

  • "big brother" being business security cameras in the instance of this vid.

  • why havent cinimas implemented this into their screnes to stop pirate videos?

    or am i overlooking something?

  • @crojonphoenix shhhhhhhhhh

  • @crojonphoenix

this will only work with IR sensitive cameras. Normal cameras wouldn't be affected much because they have IR filter. you can see example at 0:50 where the light is barely visible.

  • @crojonphoenix Because they are aware that pirating actually increases sales, and a pirated copy does NOT mean a lost sale. the research is clear. If i pirate something because i dont want to waste money on it and it turns out to be good, ill buy it. as do 80% of pirates. If you remove the torrents, instead of an increase in sales they actually drop, because we still arent going to waste our money. Support pirating it supports the entertainment industry.

  • @crojonphoenix Because they want the theaters dark. Lol.

  • @Netkiller3714 0:50

invisible to the human eye, it effects only cameras.

  • @crojonphoenix

you're overlooking something, this only affects infrared cameras.

  • @crojonphoenix Because this only works well on night vision cameras... all cameras can see ir.. but if you notice on the normal camera in this video they just glow a little, no "mask" 0:50 but once its using a night vision camera there is a mask.. This is because night vision cameras have their ir filter removed and they shoot their own ir that bounces back and thus you can see.. so if oyu fire your own ir into it'll blind the camera.

  • @crojonphoenix only works on Infra red cameras, e.i. cameras that use a night vision mode.

  • @RhysCranberry but some lesser quality cameras do pick up that part of the spectrum. its more likely a big hassle to wire enough LEDs to make a difference.

  • @crojonphoenix Thats genious.

  • @crojonphoenix You're overlooking the fact that the camera picks up the normal light emanating from the screen (i.e. the picture), and does not necessarily have to pick up infrared also.

Some models do indeed pick up infrared no matter what you do, but then others don't.

  • will this work for traffic cameras?

  • @oiyabastard If you put them round your numberplate!!! :)

  • haahhh xDDDDDD you look like alien on pictures

  • in day light it dosnt work sorry go to work at nigt

  • Great idea. Does it still work in daylight?

Could you show some footage of the hat with the LED's off, just to get a feel of how it looks like to the naked eye?

    Thanks for posting the video!

  • nice

  • I should try that the next time I rob a gas station.

  • That's tight, nice work man

  • smart. just gotta make sure you dont accidentally illuminate your face. XD
