  • This is Detroit - people shoot guns all the time ;)

The manifold is a modified Mikuni manifold for triple sidedrafts. I made the plenum.

  • Who is firing a gun in that dyno section......should call the police.

Also where did you get that intake manifold???

  • What kind of Cam and injectors were you using? I have P90 with F54 overbored to fit the KA24 and forged A-beam rods. Thinking about changing out the block to a N42... Thicker sidewalls. ITB, and bigger turbo.

  • @280zKali This was a custom grind from Elgin cams - it was .540 lift, 280deg duration as I recall. can't remember the overlap offhand. I was using 6 150lb/hr injectors. I've since switched to a custom Iksy grind with simlar specs, but slightly less duration. also I'm now using staged injectors - 6-32lb primaries and 6 150lb secondaries

  • the size of the dislike bar is the size of justin biebers penis

  • Beautiful z

  • the epic devil z

  • is this in detroit !!! can anyone answer me cause i need a tuner in michigan that has exp with z's !!?

  • @awattsandre007 Yep - Dearborn to be exact - where are you?

  • @tmzwcky i live in ann arbor

  • @tmzwcky im am in the middle of replacing reg components in my car right now but when i focus on me engine , be sure i will be there !

  • nicely done on the way you wrapped those wheels under those flares... looks great.

  • How much cc?

  • @Vortrex99999 L28 with an LD28 crank and a slight overbore. it's right at 3 litres

  • L28? Ahh the classic. ( if you watch or know what Wangan Midnight is )

  • @ventalater101 please leave silly cartoons off of the Z vids. seriously I can't watch a single Z vid or go on a single Z forum without someone talking about some silly cartoon. Damn anime!

  • Here's showing what the L28 is made of.

  • beutifull engine and car!!! i love it, congratulations

  • Thats awesome! Should give the "Devil Z" a run for its money.

  • wow

  • @philthyco your puss ass chevy sould be making more than that! what with a crossflow head witch the datsun dnt have 8 cylinders instead of 6 and anywere btween 4900cc and 5700cc datsun 3.1 get a real motor ya homo

  • Ever heard of grammar and punctuation?

  • nope lol

  • dam couldnt even last threw one dyno run huh?shoulda had a v8!!!!!LMAO!!!!!!

  • @philthyco Aside from a plethora of issues I could easily bring up dropping a Chev Small Block instead of sticking with the L, I can give you a simple reason your simple mind can understand: Chev smalls sound like f*ckin shit in a Datsun.

  • and make 600hp n/a!!!!!!!

  • lol go boom!buy a chevy!!!!!!!!

  • you are AMAZING. that is an INCREDIBLE amount of power! hopefully I can get mine near that someday

  • how many psi?

  • nice man,youre lucky to have a 600hp Z hehe

  • What's better n42 head or p90

  • You should have kept your comments to yourself.

  • L28 + S30Z is certainly not a waste of money...

  • Z cars have one hell a big engine bay!

Can drop almost everything in there.

  • that is AWESOME. damn. Love the l28....

  • Great stuff , ye trusty old L series . I would,nt have watched if it was another boring , contaminated " Chev shit " V8 conversion . Good effort !... and long live the L....

  • @FARMSET trusty?the last thing these motors are is trusty.lol!chevy small block now thats trusty..TRUST me my friends have z's with both..the l28 stroker runs like shit always needs a tune or gets hot in traffic...the chevy kills it and is dam near maintance free..peace.

  • @philthyco Trust me i own 2 Z's. If you can't tune a carbureted L, then you can't tune anything. I daily drove my L24 240z with it's 30 year old carbs, I didn't have to re tune them daily and it didn't overheat at stop lights. Maybe your friend doesn't know how to tune his car, because there is not much to go wrong under the hood.

I also have a couple small block trucks, neither are anymore reliable than the L engines. They are not godsends that are maintenance free and never fail.

  • @philthyco Ok bro u have no idea, at all.....Lets compare engines. The L28, has a double roller chain, the Chevy has a nylon cam gear, the L28 has a forged crank with forged rods, the Chevy has cast shit. Lets talk balance now... U ever hear of primary and secondary balance...Prob. not,the L28 was internally balanced giving it perfect primary and secondary balance unlike the Chevy that is externally balanced and will always suffer from secondary balance problems

  • @philthyco I got your comment on the timing set, and the fact that u think the chevy small block didnt come with a nylon cam gear stock tells me you've never took a timing cover off in your life.....Every one knows that Mopar, GM, and Ford used nylon cam gears to reduce noise. O yea and I know it was just a nylon ring, before u try saying that it wasn't all nylon, I beat u to it....What ever bro, you got a lot to learn. How u gonna tell an ASE certified tech about his job, get real bro

  • Still staggering to watch. Great car, and best L28 I've seen

  • Dear God the tarbo sounds like a f--in jet engine.

  • damn 606hp
