The difference here is that the unpopular party, the repubolicans, are being attacked, versus the domocratic party under clinton that everyone loved. The democrats would have done better in every aspect of governent it's impossible to do worse.

If you truly are a "left winger" then you're ALWAYS a fan of Mike Malloy, not "normally". I was actually afraid Malloy was just gonna explode and let that moron have it, but he handled him with aplomb.
