It is amusing that there are those who complain that Senator Obama is all talk and no action or that he is untested and has never done anything. He could have played it safe and done nothing for his district. Instead he got in the mix & reached out to both those with needs and those with the funds to get things done. Obama was a state senator for 12 years in Illinois. Illinois is one of the most corrupt states in the union. Obama representated and took tens of thousands of dollars from a public housing slum lord who had 7 of his 11 hellholes in Obama's state senate district - which Obama had to drive past while he was senator. I live in his old district - any man that thinks Rezko's housing was humane is evil. What makes matters worse, Obama bought his home/land near his home from Rezko. SO SLEEZY.
