I sincerely hope that none of you parents are going to give one of these "toys" to your kids for Christmas. What the manufacturer won't tell you is that these things do a lot of psychological damage to kids. And that happens because kids nearly always turn these things on the local animal population. When the child shoots his first bird and goes up to it and sees it fluttering upside down and bleeding with its beak blown through the back of its head, THAT registers on the child's mind and soul!

that was not a review that was telling us about the features a review is your opinion and not just about price. By the way you should never handle a gun inside a house like that shaking it all around your should have confirmed it was unloaded. And to do that you have to do that by shooting outside. NOT SAFE

The powerline 15xt most walmarts have them its simpple and plain but very powerful.most c02 guns don't go higher than 480 fps.if u have a academy outdoors store yoy can get a better looking one for $40.the smith and wesson m&p.its got drop ammo clip with 19 rounds and rear fiber optic sights.DONT get a gun with less than 420 fps they suck , no power at all.

If you have $30 I recomend the powerline 15xt it has 480 fps not a rifle though.or for $20 more get a multi pump those have double the fps.don't get me wrong the red ryder is fun also and of course really easy to handle.

It may fire BBs twice as fast, but you spend more time pumping than shooting. That's what makes the Red Ryder so fun; You never really stop shooting, and the gun is still pretty strong with all things considered.

First of all the 1938 Red Ryder does NOT shoot pellets its a BB gun. And its a design thats over 80 years old and its still made today if it did suck it proably would not still be in production today.

you can put 400 bbs on it..but it doesnt shoot pelletsbut you can put a .177 caliber at the point of it and u charge and u shoot.

this gun sorta sux a LOT the safety broke in a week and the spring doesn't work anymore on mine and when i was using it, it missed fired and its really weak to i have like 3 airsoft guns stronger than it i don't recommend it if you ask me you would be better with a semi automatic bb pistol if you ask me
