I think there's more to worry about than the little mistakes in the movie. The main things to worry about are the paradoxes and other stuff that doesn't make sense due to time travel. Like his parents not remembering the person who got them together looks suspiciously like their son. And how Biff returned to the same 2015 just like it was before he gave himself the almanac.

MISTAKE EXPLAINED, Inbtween cuts, Doc was finallizing the flux capacitor, The finalization cause a chain reaction that sent the DeLeoran back approximately 3 hours then instantaniouly returning to the present. At that exact moment in the past, Lorraine was driving by Doc's lab and noticed the flash of light causing temporary psychosis to which caused her to buy a bottle of Jack Daniels. She then proceed to intoxicate herself to forget what she saw thus never refilling the jar of candy.

There's a deleted scene where Marty McFly actually does fuck his mum and then eats all the candy to celebrate, laughing and crying like a crazy person while he does it. That scene would explain this apparant continuity error, but they cut it from the movie for some reason, probably time restrictions.
