He's smoking on that extra DVD that comes with Full Circle...it definitely isn't helping his voice. When they played A Thousand Faces in Houston, he sounded pretty similar to how he did back then, but that same song on the CD was so doctored up I guess it was just a one time thing

it was a cyst he got on his vocal chords before the new tour he had to get them surgically removed you can google it. It forced the band to tune all there old songs a half step down for the new live tour. Unfortunate but u gotta give him credit.

Yeah, Scott Stapp developed a cyst on his vocal chords and after the surgery his voice wasn't as strong, but he was still damn good. Creed was always amazing in concert; their shows were awesome. With the exception of that one Chicago show. Lol. That was pretty bad. I remember Mark's expression. He even sang some of the songs for Scott. Besides all that, I cannot wait for their show in August. Can't wait to meet them!

Creed was wind-up's first band, so in some degree Evanescence and the bands also signed onto Wind-Up owe a lot to Creed, even though they are wonderful in their own sense. Scott Stapp is a wonderful man, perhaps a little broken, but we all have our demons, I have mine as well.

That's correct I think, but Creed had more than one good song in my opinion. Of course it's up to preference and I now like AB much more than Creed. Stapp always had an ''unprofessional'' voice imo, because it has always been ''just screaming'' :D. Glad, there are much better vocalists than him.

Back in those days, Scott really seemed to me as a real rockstar with his stunning voice, but today he's somewhat broken, as he describes it on his own. He could have been great even today, but his personal problems layed a shadow over his musical carreer. I'm sorry for him.
