hey, this was verry helpful to me i got herbst two days ago and im having a really hard time eating and i feel like i wont be able to eat because they get in the way and hurt will this ever go away also my orthodotist said to have milkshakes and stuff but that will freeze them hopefully you get backt o me thanks!!
I get mine on tomorrow and I'm terrified! I get a palatal expander on to at the same time but the poles added 2 weeks later...does it hurt and also are the ulcers really bad?
Well, if it means the decision between straight teeth and crooked teeth then it is definitely worth it. To be honest, the thing didn't really bother me until the end when I got excited about getting it off. The positives are better than the cons. :)

One thing though, please don't take this as insulting cause its not at all, but when you talk it looks like the bottom bolts are pushing out your cheeks, like there's little bumps. Is that the bolts, or is just like dimples or something? Doesn't look weird or bad on you, just wondering!! Love your haircut btw!!
